It's a T-Rex that shoots laser beams from its mouth!!

I went ahead to cast [Area Regeneration], targeting the place where the wagon had overturned. This should be enough to sustain them for now while we deal with this dinosaur.

Just as I was preparing to attack it with a [Spark Strike], I heard a roar coming from my Amrap and I turned just in time to see her leaping towards the T-Rex.

She had her arm pulled back and the dinosaur was just as surprised as I was to see her jumping towards it.

She punched the T-Rex right across the side of its head, the impact sending it flying back to crash into the trees.

The dinosaur shook its head to clear it before turning to growl at the Amrap in front of him, possibly wondering how someone so much smaller in size could do that much damage.

Odeta tried leaping at it again, aiming to punch it on the other side of its head this time but the dinosaur showed surprising agility as it spun around and whipped its tail against her side.

To her credit, my Amrap managed to grab onto the tail so instead of being sent flying away, she was now attached to it.

The T-Rex did not look happy that there was someone hanging on its tail and tried to shake her off but it had been completely distracted by Odeta that it forgot there were still more of us.

Lisa had gone ahead to fire another one of her [Laser] and I was expecting the beam of light to pierce through it… But all it did was leave a small burn mark on its hide which the dinosaur didn't even seem to notice.

Not to be deterred, Katsuki and Emilia appeared on the left and right of the dinosaur's head, both of them slashing out their blades at the same time.

The T-Rex let out a roar as blood spurted out from both its eyes that had been popped by the two girls.

It started flailing around in a panic, crashing back into the forest and knocking over a bunch of trees in the process.

Unfortunately, that also caused Odeta to lose her grip on its tail and she ended up getting flung into the air.

I let my wings explode out from my back and shot into the sky after her, catching the airborne Amrap in my arms in a princess carry.

"Wahahaha! Nice catch, Sister Aster!!" She laughed, not showing even a sign that she was concerned she almost got flung away.

She immediately turned back to the flailing dinosaur and pointed at it, "Drop me right on top of it, Sister Aster! I'm gonna knock it down on the ground!"

Deciding not to question her, I did as she asked and flew over the dinosaur, taking a moment to make sure I was on target before releasing my hold on Odeta.

Delmare was slashing at it with her water coated rapier but her strikes were not able to penetrate its body at all.

At this point, I believe it has really high magic resistance so we'll have to use brute force to subdue it.

Which perfectly suited us just fine because I was watching the mini bomb that was Odeta I just dropped crashing down towards the dinosaur.

She punched out her fist right as she dropped on top of it, the punch causing a large shockwave to explode out from the point of impact before the dinosaur was smashed into the ground, forming a small crater underneath it.

I think that was a punch that could have easily flattened a building but even after receiving such a blow, the T-Rex wasn't dead yet.

I can see why it might have caused the monsters around the forest to leave their usual spots… Although now that I think about it… The knights said that this was a monster that escaped from a Dungeon, right? Does that mean that Dungeon is usually filled with dinosaurs as monsters as well?

I kind of want to go and see it now…

I'll keep it as a note for next time.

The T-Rex pushed itself up with its head while still being blind and tried to fire another laser beam from its mouth again.

Odeta reacted immediately by jumping up to kick it under its chin, forcing the dinosaur to look upwards and firing its beam up into the sky instead.

Emilia and Katsuki also jumped in, slashing their blades at the dinosaur and my hypothesis was proven right about its magic resistance as their blades managed to cut open its hide instead of being deflected.

Delmare seemed to have realised it as well since she immediately dissipated the water around her blade so that she could strike at its leg without its enchantment.

"Sister Aster!!" Odeta shouted at me and I knew what she wanted immediately.

I buffed her with [Strength] while she buffed her fist with [Body Current], my Amrap spinning herself around after kicking the T-Rex to deliver a punch into the side of its head once again. fгeewёbnoѵel.cσm

There was a deafeningly loud crack and the T-Rex's head snapped to the side at an angle before it flopped down uselessly to hang on its broken neck.

There was a pause before the giant body of the dinosaur fell onto the ground with a loud crash, throwing up a cloud of dust.

Everyone just stood around looking at the T-Rex's dead body for a moment before it finally clicked that the monster was defeated.

Odeta punched her hand up into the air and let out a cry of victory, prompting the other girls to also let out a cheer of their own.

While they might be done, my work wasn't finished yet as I flew down to the knights who were still in the midst of reorganising themselves.

"Ouch… That was embarrassing…" The one whom I assumed was the leader of this group of knights groaned before turning to me. "Thanks for the assist. We would have been in trouble without your help."

"No problem. Hold still, let me heal you guys."

I pretended to mutter a spell underneath my breath to cast [Area Regeneration] on them.

"Oh… That helps a lot. Thank you. Here."

He fished out a single Medium Bronze coin to hand it over to me.

I didn't fight it and just accepted it since this was another group that was unrelated to us that I was healing, so it's expected to be paid for this.

The knights then gathered themselves and went over to the corpse of the dinosaur to inspect it while I went to check on the overturned wagon.

Clark and his party were working hard on trying to push it back upright, flipping it back on its wheels when I reached there.

Unfortunately, it seems like one of the wheels had been broken after it got smashed and the wagon was leaning on one side quite heavily.

I thought we would need to abandon it but the merchant leader sighed, "We'll have to fix this… Let's set up camp then, we won't be going anywhere for the rest of the day."

I guess that's an option too.

The others started to move off the path to start setting up camp while I did a check on the people from the other wagon and healed anyone who still needed healing.

"Ugh… If you weren't here, we would all be dead huh…" Clark remarked as I healed him.

"The others did most of the work bringing it down, so it's all thanks to them."

"Don't sell yourself short, Miss Aster. They might have taken down the monster but it's healers like yourself that saves lives after the fight is over."

Well… If you put it that way… I guess that's true.

"Anyway… What kind of monster is that?" He asked, turning towards the dead T-Rex.

"I'm not sure, this is the first time I've seen it."

Technically, it wasn't a lie since this was my first time actually seeing a T-Rex in front of me instead of on a screen.

"What rank do you think the monster is?"

I shrugged, "It seems like it also has magic resistance too… So if I had to guess… Maybe C ranked?"

I don't think it's especially strong since we took it down relatively easily. The only dangerous attack it had was the laser beam but that needed time to charge so if you knew it was coming, it would be pretty easy to avoid it.

He grimaced, "Yeah… This entire group would have been annihilated if your party wasn't here, Aster."

I had nothing to say to that since it was most likely true.

Clark then made a noncommittal noise before turning back, "I should go and help set up camp then. You can leave tonight's watch completely to my party. You don't need to worry about it."

I didn't protest this time and simply agreed, leaving him to go help with the camp preparations.

As for me… It seems like the girls are calling for me so let's see what they want~
