"I… Honestly didn't think I would get to see a dinosaur in this world…" Christos muttered while looking at the corpse of the T-Rex.

"That's actually a real dinosaur isn't it?" Kabir asked, also looking at the dead T-Rex.

I shrugged, "It might just look like one but maybe it's another type of rare monster that people might not have seen before?"

"Still… Whatever it may be, it still looks like the dinosaur we know, right?"

"I thought they said they were supposed to have feathers?" Jenna pointed out.

"How about let's just accept this one as the real one? Eh?"

I actually agree with Kabir here.

Oh, and the girls are busy slicing up the dinosaur for parts right now while the knights were apparently documenting it for their report on the successful extermination of that monster that was wreaking havoc around the area.

I guess since this monster was defeated, the road here should be safe again… Unless another monster appears from that Dungeon I guess.

But since they knew it escaped from a Dungeon, the knights and probably the Guild must have already made plans to deal with it so I don't think it would happen again soon.

Penelope looked over to me, "Are you really just going to carry that around though?"

Oh right, I brought the egg back out again since the fight was over so it's currently nestled in my arms right now.

I looked down at the egg in my arms, "I suppose? I don't really know how much mana I have to pour into this egg to make it hatch but it seems like it needs a lot. So I have to take as many chances as I can to pour my mana into it."

Penelope seemed like she wanted to say something but then changed her mind and just shook her head.

I could already guess that she wanted to make a reference to being pregnant and carrying a baby but as I already told them, this egg did not come out from my own body.

They eventually lost interest in the dinosaur corpse as they went back to the campsite the merchant leader had set up.

As for me, I went over to where the girls were to check on how they were doing.

The knight leader strolled over to me, his helmet nestled under his arm.

He shot me an apologetic smile as he approached, "My apologies miss… If my men were at least experienced with dissecting monsters we would have helped but… I don't think your companion over there would appreciate us ruining the monster materials."

That's true, Emilia would probably sooner do it herself if she believes the others would screw it up instead of risking a dip in profits.

I shook my head at him, "It's fine… Though I have to ask what else you need from the di-- I mean… The monster here?"

"We're just waiting for the Mana Crystal to be dug out so that we have an idea of what rank this monster might be and report it to the Guild. In case you didn't know, this monster originated from a Dungeon nearby and this would help us with classifying the rank of that Dungeon."

The knight groaned, "This might be more troublesome than we thought…"

"Last I checked, there aren't a lot of C or B ranked Dungeoneer parties around this area as another Dungeon was found near the capital city… So quite a number of them had already moved there to dive into that one which means there might not be enough people to clear this Dungeon before more monsters escape from it… And I can't spare any knights to clear it since we would have to clean up the monsters that have been displaced by this one rampaging outside…"

I gave him a pointed look, "You're really trying to suggest that we go and check that Dungeon out huh?"

He gave me a pleading look, "It would definitely help us if you do… Seeing that your party could already take down a monster from that Dungeon easily enough…"

"I have to tell you first though… We're only D ranked Dungeoneers so if it's a B ranked, we won't be able to enter it."

He blinked at me, "Eh? You're… Only D ranked?"

"We haven't really been diving into Dungeons that were higher in difficulty so… That's why we're still stuck at that rank."

He pinched his chin with his free hand, "Hmm… In that case… Yes, if the Dungeon turns out to be B ranked, I'll write a special letter of recommendation for your party to be temporarily elevated to C rank status, how about that?"

"You can do that?"

"Sort of, as long as you agree to help with that Dungeon. Depending on the results, the rank might be permanent without you needing to conquer that Dungeon."

I turned to the girls who were still dissecting the dinosaur before turning back, "I'll think about it."

He bowed his head, "Thank you, please look for me at the Knight's Outpost in Latipac city if you decide to help. We will need to return to the city now."

He barked out an order at the other knights and they quickly mounted up before galloping in the direction of the city.
