The Alpha's Fated Mate Is an Outcast-Chapter 74
Chapter 74: Chapter 74
Althea sat in the living room, watching her father who was pacing back and forth, making calls. He ended the call and turned to face her.
"They are ready." Then he asked, "Do you really want to do this?"
She lifted her pissed-off gaze to him. "What do you think, dad? Keelion isn’t just obsessed with that beta, he has something with him. For fucking sake, he threatened me because of him. That beta is a threat to me and if I don’t rid him out as soon as possible, see this spot?"
She laughed softly. "This title that is meant to be mine will be taken away from me. I know it because Keelion has started digressing already. Now he doesn’t feel like he’s made up his mind which wasn’t the case before. Now, he looks at me like I’m some kind of stain on his freaking suit."
"So then, should we begin?" Mr. Eliot asked.
Althea stood up to her feet and picked up her pause. "My first step to completely destroying that weed of a beta starts today. I’ll make sure I break him into pieces, so much that nothing would ever be able to put him back together and then when he’s at his lowest, I’ll get rid of him completely."
"Althea..." The voice belonged to her mother, prompting her to turn and look at her.
She asked, "What?"
"Are you sure about this? I mean, that woman is innocent, isn’t she? I don’t think you should—"
"Mind your business, mother," Althea snapped at her with irritation written all over her face. "You don’t know anything, so back off."
Her mother blinked at her. She slowly looked at her husband. "Eliot, you’re going to let your daughter talk to me like that?"
Mr. Eliot pinched between his brows. "Listen—"
"Are we leaving or not?" Althea interrupted, questioning. "I don’t have all the time to spare. Back off, Mother, this has nothing to do with you."
She glared at her father. "Let’s go."
Mr. Eliot looked at his wife. "This is important," he said and left with her as they made their way out of the building.
The woman just stared and sighed, slowly shaking her head.
"I’ve already sent the men out to get rid of any CCTV cameras that may be around there. They are also coming with cleaning supplies, just in case of emergency."
"So I won’t have any problems, right?" Althea asked.
Mr. Eliot nodded. "No. You can take as much time as you need with it. Some of the men will be on stakeout too in case something goes wrong."
She nodded.

Eleni stared at the opened fridge, a big smile on her face.
Alexis had called her earlier in the morning, letting her know she was going to come over by the evening. She had made sure to pack enough of her favorite meals into the fridge ready for a microwave once she arrived.
A soft breath fled her nose and she closed the fridge, turning to take her apron off, but then the sudden ringing of the doorbell had her pausing.
Who was it? Alexis? Didn’t she say she was coming in the evening? It was still noon.
Perhaps there was a change of plan.
Her lips stretched into a smile and she quickly left the kitchen, hurrying her way into the living room. She made her way to the door and as if it was by instinct, she decided to look through the peephole first.
However, when she did, she couldn’t see anyone outside. That was weird? She was sure someone had rang the doorbell.
Frowning, she turned the handle and pulled the door open. She glanced from left, and when she looked to the right, she was met with a familiar face, one that clicked into her memory immediately.
She didn’t know her name, but she was more than sure that this was the same woman who had visited her a month ago.
Why was she here again and this time with two large men, betas, standing behind her?
"Hello." Althea big-smiled at her. "Long time no see, ma’am."
Eleni slowly nodded. "Right. Um...may I ask what you want? I’m a bit busy right now as you—"
Althea stepped towards her as did the two men. They forcefully proceeded into the apartment, causing Eleni to take steps back in confusion.
What was going on?
Althea closed the door and locked it herself, tossing the key aside. Then she smiled at her.
Eleni glanced at the key on the floor and looked at her. "What...are you doing?"
Althea folded her arms. "It’s not that I have a problem with you, ma’am. It’s just that your son will be the reason for whatever you’re going to endure today."
"What...what do you mean by that? What are you talking about?" She took a step back.
Althea glanced at her men. "Grab her," she ordered. "I have a lot of questions for her."
Eleni glanced at the two men approaching her and quickly took a step back. "Don’t come close to me! Stay back! Get—"
Both men snatched her and dragged her off towards one of the chairs in the room. Althea took the rope out of the bag they came with and tossed it over to them. Then, they proceeded to tie her up to the chair.
"Why are you doing this? I don’t know you!" Eleni looked at her with confusion all over her face while she struggled to get herself out of the binding.
Althea shrugged and pulled over a chair to sit right opposite her.
"Of course, you don’t know me," she said. "You never should have known me. But this is all your son’s fault, not mine. So if you’ve got questions, ask your son, although I don’t think you’ll ever have the chance to."
"You’re a liar," Eleni bit at her. "My son is a good boy. He is not a troublemaker and he would never do anything to—"
Crack. A slap landed hotly against her face, loud and painful.
