Chapter 176: Kalusia’s Castle Party

The day that Melina and I arrived at Meisi, we brought the rest of their farm fields back to life using nature magic and managed to rebuild most of the homes.

We stayed the night at one of the abandoned homes that we remodeled, and the following day, we finished rebuilding the last few houses that remained.

That was only the first town that we took care of, so we still had dozens all around the savannah to check up on.

Luna, the bunny battle-maid, decided to join us since she had gotten extremely curious about our powers.

It took us weeks to remodel half of the towns in the savannah area, but on the bright side, the beastkins were going back to their peaceful lives, and we were gathering new ingredients that we could use.

One thing I noticed was that most towns planted corn in their fields since they knew how to process it and make flour with it. Supposedly, it was a technique passed down from generations of beastkins.

However, it was likely the work of a reincarnated demi-god, probably Alejandro, considering he was the founder of Kalusia.

The beastkins had a machine that worked as a grinder, which they had to hold onto a lever and walk in a circle for the corn to be finely grounded and processed into flour.

As much as I wanted to use their flour on new dishes, we had to wait a bit for their crops to grow back again and for them to restock their supplies.

After weeks of traveling around the savannah with Melina, the food supply of Kalusia was slowly getting back to its previous prosperous state, so we paid the capital a visit.

Melina hadn’t seen the capital yet, and while it was somewhat messed up when I left, it had been almost entirely remodeled by the time we returned.

The buildings were made with large chunks of sturdy rock that were abundant in the savannah and jungle area.

Beastkins who were adept with earth magic would then use their powers to combine these blocks into one, making the frame of their houses one sturdy piece of rock.

Our first visit was to the castle, where King Dente and Melina’s father were still residing. However, when we got there, the number of people present was much more than I expected.

Apart from the two kings, Lysandra and her brother Cedric were also there, so I introduced Melina to the empress of the Droman Empire.

"Ah, finally, I get to meet the princess that stole your heart!" Lysandra said with a drunken tone.

"W-what are you saying!?" I asked the empress with a red face, who chuckled and chugged down the rest of her cup.

"Aw man, poor Arabella is gonna be disappointed..." the empress muttered in her drunken state.

"Huh?" I pondered out loud, but the empress waved her hand as if to let it go. freēwēbηovel.c૦m

At that moment, Carli, who was standing next to Leon, ran towards Melina to give her a hug as they hadn’t seen each other after she left to help in the war.

Acalan and Brockey were also there in the meeting, so I introduced them to the princess before meeting with the rulers of the continent.

Literally, all of them were present at the castle in Kalusia. King Leon from the Sephyr Kingdom, Sultan Harun from Aridonia, Empress Lysandra from the Droman Empire, and King Dente, the ruler of Kalusia.

Now that the war had come to an end, there was something on the back of my mind that I wanted to ask Empress Lysandra, but I had kept quiet about it since it wasn’t that important at that time.

I wanted Jeniffer Lovegrad, the alchemist that was in charge of producing most of the healing potions for the Droman Empire, to go to End Forest and study with Reinar.

Lysandra looked shocked when I asked her that, almost as if her drunkenness had subsided as she thought about it.

"Jen is our best alchemist. Could it really benefit us to have her outside of the country?" she asked.

Still, I explained to her that with my delivery tablets, Jen could be anywhere and still supply the empire with all of the potions they could ever need.

I wanted her to go to End Forest since she had been the one studying the blue herbs from the Illusive Forest, so she had some knowledge about them that we could find helpful.

Besides, I could see the potential in her, and training with Reinar would only make her a better alchemist.

The empress agreed but said that she wanted a written contract to make sure that a steady supply of potions was always sent to the empire, which was no problem for me to accept.

A few days after our party in the castle, the rulers of their nations were ready to return. However, since it would take them weeks to get to their respective countries, Melina and I volunteered to teleport them.

We had to use MP potions for each travel, and we were left extremely exhausted after we had sent everyone home, so we slept for the rest of that day to regain our strength.

There were only a few weeks left for the academy semester to come to an end, so we saw no reason to return to Sephyr quickly since the headmaster had given us the rest of the semester to help here.

The next term was supposed to start after winter, so Melina and I would be 17 years old by the time it started.

Realizing that we had a few months of vacation left, we decided to stay and explore around, as I hadn’t toured the places like I would’ve wanted to when the war was happening.

Fortunately for us, on a day that we were walking around the capital, we spotted the construction of a building with people wearing green uniforms working on it, which we recognized instantly as the uniform of the adventurers guild workers.

"Hmmm, it’s not a bad idea to complete a few contracts around here..." I muttered, and when I looked at Melina, her eyes were brimming with excitement.
