The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system-Chapter 211: Mad dog.
An hour later, the two families said their farewells and Alix and Caishen escorted the Tai's downstairs. Some of them, she would surely meet later on at the school.
In the lobby of the hospital, Alix was giving Mo Qilu one last hug when Jing Hee passed by. At that precise moment, Mo Qilu said something which caused Jing Hee to pause her steps.
"Pretty baby, you have to let mama take you shopping next week. You will need to look beautiful at the orchid exhibition. You should be more beautiful than the flowers themselves. I will buy your outfit, auntie Aihuan will take you for a manicure and auntie Jingli will take you shoe shopping. In this way, everyone will get one on one time with you."
It was just one word that caused Jing Hee to pause and it was 'mama'.

Jing Hee turned around and chased after them, catching up to them in the car parking lot where she proceeded to grab Mo Qilu's hand.
"Excuse me." she said forcefully.
She was desperate to see the person that was so kind to Alix and calling herself mama.
Some of the Tai's had already set off. Alix was saying goodbye to grandpa and grandma Tai. She heard Jing Hee's voice in her ears. It was as clear as a whistle that signaled the start of a race.
"Excuse me, grandpa." she said.
She closed the car door for him and walked over speedily ready to defend Mo Qilu from the jaws of the mad dog Jing Hee.
"Who are you?" Jing Hee asked Mo Qilu.
Alix heard the question as she was reaching them. The first thing she did was fling Jing Hee's hand away from Mo Qilu's arm.
"Auntie, are you okay?" she turned to Mo Qilu.
Her eyes roamed over the woman and she raised her arm, looking at the area around her left hand wrist.
Jing Hee suddenly pulled on Alix's shirt from the back causing her head to tilt backwards. Alix shrugged herself out of Jing Hee's hold, turned around and shoved her stepmother away from herself.
The shove was mighty that it sent Jing Hee stumbling backwards and she almost crushed into a car that was on it's way to the exit.
"Are you crazy?" she raised her voice and fiercely glared at her.
Jing Hee sneered at Alix and shrieked out, "I should be the one asking you that. Are you crazy you damn wench you almost got me killed."
"It's too bad that the driver of the car braked when he did. The world will surely be a happier place without you." Alix replied.
The driver of the car was an uninvolved party who had no idea what was going on and he was freaking out as well because he had almost hit someone with his car.
"Are you both crazy?" he stuck his head out of the window of his car and yelled at them both.
Mo Qilu was not sure about what was going on but she held onto Alix's arm and tugged her backwards. She had no idea what was going on but there was one thing she was sure of, there was no need to make a spectacle of themselves out here.
"Pretty baby, let's not fight in public."
She said softly.
Jing Hee eyed them with viciousness like a snake swollen with venom that it so badly wanted to spit out. "Hey, who are you? Mama, pretty baby!! That is my daughter, I am her mother."
"Mother!!!" Alix exclaimed.
This was the same woman that treated her like trash and called her a wench only a minute ago. Was that motherly in any way?
With contempt in her voice, Alix said, "Madam, I don't know who you are. In case you need a reminder, we all agreed to split ties on the day of my wedding. I advise you to stop attacking strangers in public because you might end being beaten black and blue or arrested."
Jing Hee said in a voice filled with mockery, "Hoo, did you find someone to sponge off. Who is she? She looks quite rich. Is the young master of the Zhang family not enough that you actually found a sugar mummy? I always knew that you would end up living such a life. Just wait until your father hears this. Your ghost will never be able to darken the door of the Lin family again."
Alix's eyes bulged in shock and Mo Qilu scoffed. Sugar mummy!! Had she just been referred to as a sugar mummy?
"Pretty baby who is this foul mouthed woman?" Mo Qilu asked Alix.
"She is Lin Qianfan's wife." Alix replied.
All Mo Qilu needed to hear was 'Lin' to know who this was. She was probably the famous stepmother grandpa Zhang had told them all about. She was the one who starved their pretty baby and made her live no better than a maid in the Lin house.
"Aah, you are that wicked witch that treats your own daughter like a precious diamond and our precious baby like trash left at the side of the road. Ha! If i don't teach you a lesson today then I will be doing my pretty baby a disservice." Fired up. Mo Qilu opened her bag in search of her phone.
Alix had no idea what was going to happen but she knew for sure that things were probably not going to end well for Jing Hee. Did Mo Qilu carry a weapon in there? What was she planning to do?
Mo retrieved a phone and not a weapon ad Alix's overly imaginative mind thought.
"I am reporting you to the police for assault and I am going to press charges. The hospital has cameras everywhere and you twisted my arm..." Mo Qilu threatened with the phone on her ear.
"Are you crazy?" Jing Hee shouted.
"Hello, police...." Mo Qilu said.
Hardly had she said anything anything else when Jing Hee turned tail and run away like a coward.
"Why are you running, come back and run your mouth." Mo Qilu shouted. She was waving her hand in the air in a very feisty mood. She looked at Alix and assured her, "Don't worry about that cowardly woman anymore. Pretty baby, you have the Tai family behind you now. You are allowed to fight back and defend yourself if she tries anything."
Alix just smiled and hugged her. "Auntie, thank you."
Mo Qilu was all too happy to squeeze Alix and hug her tightly. If there was one thing she could never stand to see, it was injustice. Alix's whole childhood was one injustice after another. She had even been left with physical scars.
Mo Qilu wished she could back in time and maybe give little Alix a hug and tell her that everything would someday get better.
"Hello, hello...." A voice came from the phone.
Mo Qilu let go of Alix. She had briefly forgotten that she had called the police. Alix too had assumed that perhaps Mo Qilu was simply threatening Jing Hee. However, the call was real and Mo Qilu made good on her intentions to teach Jing Hee a lesson.
"Hello, I am calling to report an assault."
