Things had been a bit strange after I removed the Hypnosis Spell from Elena, especially since her Loyalty had gone down.

It made me realize that while the skill was great, I still needed to be smart about how I would utilize it. After all, the memories from hypnotized people were completely isolated unless I allowed it.

I would have to be a lot more careful next time around and let others remember bits of what happened while hypnotized. That would lower their doubts about me by a significant margin without a doubt. Nevertheless, I had finally managed to find some time alone as Elena was currently having a talk with her father, most likely about me.

The only positive aspect of this whole situation was the Quest, which I had managed to complete in exchange for having Elena's trust waver.

'This better be good,' I thought with a slight frown, hoping it would be worth it.

My eyes widened.

The loss in Loyalty had definitely been worth it since I would now be able to comprehend things just by watching others.

The only downside to all this was the fact that Aria was unawakened and couldn't use magic, and as for Elena, she didn't have any Affinity compatible with me, which meant that watching her had a low chance of being useful as a whole.

I needed to find someone talented in one of the four Affinities.

And that's when the door to the room slowly opened, revealing Elena on the other side, who glanced at me strangely without her usual blush.

"My father has decided to help you reach first place in the tournament. He has decided to call a special tutor just for you. He even used his connections to make sure that she would meet your standards."

If the King had used his connections, it meant that someone extremely powerful and talented would be coming to help me. However, while that might have been great at first, it also meant that there was a chance he would report my lack of strength to the King... a situation that I needed to avoid without a doubt.

I tried asking her who would be coming, but she shrugged. Her father hadn't told her. However, the chances of her Loyalty being over 50 were basically null. As soon as the tutor saw me, I would be deemed a Fraud and sent back to the Vale Estate, where I would be treated as more than just a good-for-nothing.

'How will I even get out of this shit...'

"When is the tutor supposed to arrive?"

"Well, considering that the tournament will begin in two days, the tutor will arrive later today. As for the exact time, I couldn't tell you."

I shook my head and sighed.

There was definitely little I could do. I could only hope that whoever this tutor was, they wouldn't be too hard on me.

'Elena. Hypnotize.'

However, before she arrived, I needed to get as much information as possible about what had gone through her mind earlier. For her to lose more than 7 Loyalty Points at once, something important must have crossed her mind.

I needed to figure out what it was to make sure that nothing like it would ever happen again.

As the doll-like Elena appeared before me, I didn't waste a second.

"What is your opinion of me at the moment?"

The question was definitely open to interpretation, but the Hypnotized Elena seemed to realize what I asked and answered within seconds.

"Ever since you last hypnotized me, her trust in you has significantly lowered because of multiple factors. The first one is the loss of memories. The second is the thoughts about you, where lust seems to shine more than ever before. Those two elements combined are why she began to have doubts about you."

I clicked my tongue. I had definitely messed up.

"However," Elena then spoke on her own, "if you allow me to, I can adapt her memories to make sure that she regains trust in you."

I frowned as I wanted to make sure I understood the words that had come out of her mouth.

"Are you saying that you can manipulate her memories?"

"Exactly, Master. I can adapt her memories regarding you, even creating completely fake moments between the two of you."

My eyes widened.

This skill was even more overpowered than I had originally believed. With the manipulation of her memories, growing her Loyalty for me would be even easier than expected. Making her develop romantic feelings for me would also be much simpler.

The nights we had spent sleeping in the same bed had already brought us closer, but this would be on a completely different level.

If I were able to create memories and plant them inside her mind, controlling even the non-hypnotized Elena would become much easier.

"Can you make her forget about the Fireball grazing her arm, instead making her think that the burn on her right arm was caused by us playing around in her room, flirting with one another?"

The Hypnotized Elena, however, shook her head.

"I'm sorry, Master. I probably wasn't clear enough. For the moment, and with the current amount of Loyalty, I can only create new memories; replacing already existing memories is impossible. However, once certain thresholds of Loyalty are reached, it will be possible."

I nodded. I would have to test it out on Aria since her Loyalty was already so high, even getting close to 100.

"Then simply create memories of the two of us playfully flirting for the past few minutes."
