The President's Pregnant, Ex-Wife-Chapter 424 – There is a man here who looks exactly like me
Chapter 424: Chapter 424 – There is a man here who looks exactly like me
"Okay, how can I help?" Brea asked earnestly, willing to do whatever it took. The fake Robin had a smug look on his face.
Since Hazel was not willing to comply, he found an alternative without as much as a try. Now, he had no regret for agreeing with Hazel to rescue her prison. It was all to his benefit in the end.
"At least, you are smart enough to help me out with my plan. Dress up and I will let you know when we get there," he said casually. He was weak looking but still in some form of pain from the surgeries.
However, if he worked smartly, then he wouldn’t even need any form of physical strength to achieve what he wanted.
Hazel was very upset but could not rebuke Brea. After all, they were together for different reasons.
In a few hours, they had come out of their hiding, elegantly dressed as they went for the wedding together.
Brea’s heart was thumping wildly, as she hoped that whatever plan the fake Robin had would be successful, so she could also have her happy ending.
She didn’t like the idea of Sabrina being alive but there was no way around it since the fake Robin was in love with her and Brea would also get to be with the man she loved.
Upon arrival and seeing the crowd, the fake Robin tried to fit in first. "You two should stay in the car and let me find out what is going on," he said. The two women nervously agreed.
As the driver pulled over in front of the security men at the gate, he wound down the back window of the limousine where the fake Robin sat a little.
The chief security, tilting his head to see the face of the man in the car, was a little confused, wondering why Robin had come in a limousine. It just wasn’t his style.
Robin would rather use a Bentley or Maserati. He was never a fan of Limos so if anything at all, then the bride should have been the one to be riding in the limo.
Well, since he thought it to be the boss, he openly gave the order for the gate to be opened after greeting the Robin he saw politely in the car.
Not long after, a Bentley, decorated with ribbons for the occasion, drove to the entrance and the chief security instantly knew that that was Robin.
He had allowed a person who looked like the groom to go in without any checks and was beginning to panic.
Contemplating on whether or not to let things slide with the thought that perhaps Robin had another twin brother just like Jacob, he decided to confirm and dialed Robin’s number.
The latter was just about to walk the aisle when he received a direct call from the chief of security agents who asked,
"Sir, are you triplets?"
Robin was perplexed and asked, "What do you mean by that?"
The chief of security agents started to sweat, but realizing that the first man he saw might just be a look-alike, he decided to come clean since the man had not been checked, along with the people he arrived with.
"Sir, a man dressed in a cream tuxedo looked exactly like you, so I thought you were the one and allowed him in without any checks. I’m so sorry I didn’t try to confirm before."
Robin felt a chill in his blood and ordered, "Look for him. I want to see him, but make sure not to disrupt the event. If possible, get his fingerprint."
Robin couldn’t imagine what was happening. His twin brother didn’t even resemble him, so he wondered who this man could be and felt both nervous and suspicious.
"Yes, sir," the chief of security spoke in a shaky voice. How could he have just assumed? Now he felt that if things went wrong, then it was going to be all his fault and nobody else’s.
"Robin, what’s going on?" His best man, Devin, asked, as Daniel was busy hacking. He was there, but his focus was on the security of the whole place. Throughout the identifications he and Peter received so far, there was nothing suspicious.
"They allowed in someone who looks just like me," Robin replied while still on the phone with the chief of security agents. As Robin was speaking, he suddenly recalled something and asked again,
"Was he with anyone?" He wanted to be sure if it was who he was suspecting, but would Martin be so stupid to bring both women along? Unless perhaps, Robin was just being paranoid.
"Yes, sir, two ladies," the chief of security quickly responded. Robin began to feel uncomfortable.
He suspected that his enemies would disguise themselves, but was it the case that Martin disguised himself to look exactly like Robin?
Robin couldn’t believe it, but also didn’t completely dismiss the possibility. Knowing that Martin was still obsessed with Sabrina, Robin knew that he had to be open-minded about everything and not underestimate his enemies. He instructed, "Forward the footage of his entry to the hacking team and remember to send me a copy of the video too."
At the other end of the line, the chief of security was slightly relieved to not be scolded by Robin and was grateful for it. Therefore, he decided to reciprocate by being more careful this time.
"Yes, sir," the chief of security said and hung up as Devin asked again, "Robin, what is the problem?" He was getting uncomfortable by the way the conversation between Robin and the chief of security was going.
This was supposed to be the happiest day in his sister’s life, and he didn’t want anything to ruin it for her. However, when he saw Robin’s sudden grim expression, Devin couldn’t help but fear the worst.
"There’s a man here who looks exactly like me," Robin said. Devin froze and asked,
"Could there be a chance that you are triplets?"
