’The last pillar is Liam.’

That was what Elder Rose told Abby and she knew what it meant.

Letto was the pillar, he needed to be killed in order to close the hell of gates and stop the poisonous miasma from spreading around, but they had not done it yet, because Iris insisted not to kill him and find another way to actually save the young man.

More so, they had not yet found the last pillar, in this case, there was no point of killing Letto.

But, if Liam was the last pillar and they knew about it, it would be a different story completely.

Abby was trembling when she learned about that, she felt so sick and vomiting a few times, she couldn’t bring herself to believe that piece of information.

Elder Rose didn’t want to tell her about it, because she wanted to spare her feeling, but how could it help her? Either she knew about it or not, it didn’t make her feel better.

Elder Rose told her that there was a high chance Liam was with Rei, but she didn’t know what he had done to him and said not to have a high hope to be able to see ’Liam’ that she used to know.

Her last word was very devastating.

Elder Rose didn’t know where they were, but Iris knew...

"Lucentsand desert," Iris said, informing them about Rei’s whereabout. "He is there with Liam." Iris’s eyes found Abby and she frowned, because she didn’t look as surprise as she expected.

She knew she had been looking for Liam and pressing down this matter with Elder Rose, but she didn’t seem to be surprised enough with the mention of his name.

Instead, it was Cedric, who was dumbfounded with this new information. "How do you know Liam is with Rei?"

Iris brushed off the matter with Abby’s lack of emotion, as she continued to explain how she knew about it and how she could see all the people’s spirit, whether they were dead or alive.

Lou made a ruckus about this, as he was very excited for her to learn new ability. Zale bickered with him, while Cezi looked respectful and Cedric was still shocked.

For now, Elder Rose was under a close watch, they didn’t put her back into the dungeon for her help, but it didn’t mean she was free to roam around the area.

"What are you going to do?" Cedric asked, anxiety was written all over his face. "Are you going to kill Rei and... Liam?"

"You are going to get trouble if you trying to kill Rei. The Holy Kingdom will not remain silent if you killed him, especially when you locked up the remaining three elders," Abby finally spoke.

"His crime alone is enough for him to be burned alive. He is a black magic user for crying out loud and Holy Kingdom makes it very clear to kill all the black magic users." Lou frowned at Abby, he was unhappy. "Why I feel like you start switching side again?" Lou blurted out.

Abby glared at him, but she didn’t say anything.

Not only Iris and Cane, but Lou also seemingly picked up the lack of emotion from Abby when she heard about Liam.

"We are going to kill him," Cane said. His voice made it sound final, there was no room for negotiation. All of them agreed with him. Why would they want to spare the life of the person, who had caused so much trouble for them?

"So, when are we going to go?" Zale asked, he was thrilled because he was involved in this meeting. Since, he was part of Iris’s protectors and he showed them that he was capable to hold his ground earlier.

"Lou, when do you think you can create the portal to Lucentsand desert?" Using Lou’s portal was the easiest and the fastest way to get there.

The problem with poisonous miasma could be temporarily resolved because Iris had purified it, it was enough for them to feel safe for a few days before the red smoke could reach this area again.

People were busy to find their family and build the pack again, many funerals were held and cries filled the air after the initial joy for surviving the calamity, now they had to face the reality and accept the fact some of them lost their family member, some of them lost their property and some of them lost both.

"In three days," Lou said. "I think I will be fine in three days."

"We will leave on the third day, at night." Cane nodded. Because it was Lucentsand, they needed to reach there within three days, because it would be impossible for them during the day.

"Three days, do you think Rei will still be there after three days?" Cezi asked. Rei could be anywhere after three days.

"Even if he moved somewhere else, Iris will know his whereabouts," Cane reminded them about this and Cezi felt stupid because he forgot this part, because Iris’s ability was unusual, he was still trying to grasp what the luna could do.

After that, they left to get some rest, while Iris spent her time with her babies and Cane took care of this pack. Because of the damage, there were a lot of things to be done.

They have to move on with their lives even though they were still grieving, because there was no time for that, when there was so much they had to do.

Iris really wanted to have Amee and Grace there with her, she wanted to tell them that she survived and introduced them to her babies.

On the seventh day they were born, their golden eyes faded and they could see, whose eyes they took after.

"Blue! It’s blue!" Iris said with giggle. She showed Cane their babies’ eyes. "They took after me!" Finally there was something that resembled her, aside their curls.

Both babies had blue eyes, as clear as the deep sea.

"They are even more beautiful with your blue eyes," Cane said, happy because they took her eyes instead of his boring one.

"You have not yet named them, Alpha, Luna." Aliana reminded them.

Their children could be said as easy babies, because they didn’t usually to make a fuss unless they were hungry and needed to be cleaned, especially the younger one, who used to sleep the whole day.

Cane and Iris put their babies on the bed, right now, they were awake and made baby noises. Iris pulled away her younger son because the eldest was nipping on his ear.

"Hm... I am thinking of Zander for the eldest..." Iris said, she had thought about this name with Cane for a while.

"And Zenith for the youngest," Cane finished her sentence.

"What do you think?" Iris asked. She chuckled when her eldest son tried to get to his twin again, stretching out his short arms

"Zander and Zenith, those are beautiful name," Hanna said with a bright smile. "Is there a meaning behind it?"

"Zander meant defender, while Zenith meant powerful." Iris stared at her sons with love in her eyes. "I hope they will get along well throughout this life."
