Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon-Chapter 748 - 746: Let’s Make A Deal (Bonus - )
The realization that he had been so close to an entity that was in the Immortal ranks was shocking to Corey.
The thought of how close he had been to death cause a chill to creep up his spine.
Although he felt like this, he also had several other thoughts and questions in his mind.
The main question being, why was the presence of the titanic abomination... lacking?
Corey had experienced the aura of multiple Tier 6s, and he had even experienced the rage of the Throne, who was said to be comparable to a Tier 7, in the Shattered Dimension of the Old Ones.
He had experienced all of this, but the titanic abomination did not emit an extremely overwhelming presence that should make his entire instincts to be screaming at him.
Corey was certain that the titanic abomination was not concealing its aura because of his instincts.
Even if it was, his instincts of a Paragon with a nigh-omniscient talent was extremely perceptive, and he would have perceived it having a presence that was greater than a Tier 6's.
'Maybe it's weakened?... I wouldn't be surprised if its on the verge of death with those terrible injuries... Or maybe it's sleeping or unconscious?'
Corey had these thoughts in a fraction of a second, and then he decided to reduce the attention he gave to the approaching titanic abomination.
His pure white eyes peered deep into the black sea, and he noticed that the sea bed was much deeper than it was, compared to the last time he was in the black sea.
Although it was deeper, Corey reached the end of the chains, and there he saw the coffin.
The coffin looked exactly like a normal coffin, however, Corey saw transparent, colorless, glass like runes on the coffin.
And around the coffin, he saw numerous spatial cracks. He noticed that the spatial cracks were trying to get closer to the coffin, and a foreign thought entered his mind.
'Whoever or whatever it is that's the cause of the spatial cracks is trying to either obtain or get rid of the coffin... I need to get the coffin before that happens no matter what.'
Corey knew that this thought was not his, but from the heavens and his luck.
Although he had no idea what was in the coffin or why the heavens deducted fifty thousand luck in one go just to point him towards the coffin.
It was completely absurd if he thought about it, but he decided not to think too much about it.
After discussing a lot about luck, Blessed, and Sinners with Nina, he knew that the higher the amount of luck deducted, the greater the opportunity and reward... That was if he had the power to obtain it.
'Unfortunately, I can't teleport.'
Corey was beginning to get irritated and annoyed by the limitation he had placed on him by either the Supreme Ancestor or a powerful Supreme.
In fact, he was beginning to think that he received this sort of limitation because the Supreme knew of the future or could guess the future.
Having such thoughts could have led to another train of thoughts, but Corey quickly pushed the thoughts to the back of his mind, and chose to think about the present.
Although he had the urge to dive into the black sea and swim towards the coffin, he knew that doing such a thing was not the wisest.
First of all, the titanic abomination was clearly approaching their island, and he had no idea what would happen if he tried to approach the coffin and what the reaction of the titanic abomination would be like.
Another thing he was wary about were the several forces of the demons, underworld officials, and the Outsiders.
He had already attracted the attention of some individuals, and if not for the sudden appearance of the Tier 6s which was then followed by the approaching titanic abomination, what would have happened would be a catastrophic battle and slaughter of the New-Earthlings.
'Apart from my luck reduction, I felt the shift of a massive amount of luck being shifted in the world... Jeremy?'
Corey glanced at Jeremy who had a dark and worried expression as he looked at the multiple Tier 6s that were hovering in the sky like gods.
When Corey saw Jeremy's expression, he could guess his thoughts as clear as day.
'He thought that using that golden orb which initiated a system upgrade on New Earth and suppressed every invader on the planet would be enough to win the battle against the demons, Outsiders, and Underworld officials.'
'Unfortunately, he's dealing with people from the peak forces of the universe... They would have contingency plans against something like that, and no matter how talented and blessed you are, your knowledge, resources, and power cannot be compared to them.'
Corey shook his head slightly, and then he glanced at the Outsiders and Chosens.
He could see them having extremely solemn expressions as they stared in the direction of the titanic abomination.
He glanced at Jeremy, and he also him having a confused expression for a second before he followed the line of sight of the Outsiders and Chosens.
He squinted his eyes, and when he saw the titanic abomination, Corey saw him trembled slightly but a determined light flashed in his eyes.
'Truly a Child of Heaven. If the titanic abomination had not appeared, the Outsiders and Chosens would have slaughtered the New-Earthlings...'
'Maybe that's why there was a massive shift of luck... Making a being that's comparable to an Immortal to move towards a particular place must not be easy and it would certainly cost a lot.'
'I can also sense that Jeremy's overall luck has reduced. Though his current luck is still more than what I previously had.'
'Sigh.'
'Let's see what's going to happen.'
Corey shifted his attention from Jeremy and the Tier 6s, and looked at Pamela who was still chained.
"Let's make a deal."
