Corey was so baffled and stunned by what was going on around him.

From the looks of everything, the four forces were about to engage in what looked like a war, and worst of all, they were literally at the center of the war.

The first group that caught Corey's attention was not the New-Earthlings or the Underworld officials or the Outsiders.

No.

It was the demons.

First of all, he was curious as to how some demons had been able to escape the Underworld and appear outside.

Although this was one thing he was curious about, what truly caught his attention was not the demons but a particular demon.

This demon stood at the front of the army of demons with five other demons, and the aura he emitted was similar to that of a Tier 6.

'Justin?' Corey furrowed his brows.

This demon bore an uncanny resemblance to his former roommate, Justin.

Corey recalled that ever since Justin disappeared and never came back to the room he was given by the Underworld, he had never heard of him or seen him again.

Corey had tried looking for Justin through Divine's connections and networks for a very brief period of time, but when he failed to find him, he stopped and completely forgot about him.

It was completely normal for people to go missing and for people to die in secret in the Underworld.

Divine had even told him that Justin was most likely dead, and because Justin was unimportant and had no connection with him, Corey stopped looking for him.

But to his surprise, here he was in the flesh of a demon.

'He's a demon that's comparable to a Tier 6. But how's that possible?... He was just a Tier 2 when I first met him, and he's now a Tier 6... Was he perhaps hiding his actual Tier?'

Corey's left eye changed to rapidly changing symbols, and after a fraction of a second, he was able to see a fraction of the stats of the demon whose appearance was the same as Justin.

'So he's actually Justin... Interesting.'

Although Corey had several thoughts and questions in his mind, he decided to shift his focus and attention towards the other group that caught his attention.

The Outsiders and Chosens.

Just like he suspected, the Outsiders and Chosens had left the Underworld the moment the demons invasion began.

The reason why the group of Outsiders and Chosens caught his attention was because he saw chained Underworld residents in their midst, particularly... Pamela.

The moment his gaze landed on her, she also looked at him.

In that brief moment, he could see the surprise and confusion in her eyes as she looked at him.

Corey glanced at the other Underworld residents, and he noticed that the chained Underworld residents were standing beside certain Outsiders and Chosens.

'Did they kidnap and forcefully capture the Underworld residents that caught their fancy?'

Corey tilted his head slightly when he noticed several injuries on some of the Underworld residents.

He shifted his attention to the last group of people that truly caught his attention.

The New Earthlings.

Corey's gaze was drawn to several figures amongst the group of New Earthlings.

His gaze first landed on two individuals, two women he had once shared a connection with.

Ashley and Becca.

Corey was immensely surprised when he saw the two of them amongst the army of the force he decided to call, The New Earthlings.

Ashley and Becca were at the backline of the New Earthlings because they were just low-level Tier 2s.

Corey observed them briefly, and then his gaze landed on four individuals who stood at the forefront of the army of New Earthlings.

These four individuals were just Tier 4s, but they all felt extremely special.

They felt unique to the point that Corey felt some of them could be compared to Divine and even Pamela.

Corey could sense one having extremely high affinities for several elements. In Corey's vision, she was surrounded by several colourful lights.

For another, Corey could sense that the person's physique was comparable to his, and this was extremely shocking to him.

Corey was not certain if the man's physique was truly comparable to his Demi-Paragon's physique, but the power he could sense from his physique was immense, and the aura his body radiated was familiar to him.

'It feels like his physical stats are in the Black Star Realm like mine... How shocking.'

Although Corey had this thought, his expression and gaze remained the same.

The third individual radiated the most intense battle intent out of the four, and Corey felt a similar aura to that of Rosa on the man. ƒгeewёbnovel.com

'A berserker?'

Corey tilted his head slightly, and then he glanced at the last individual.

This individual was the most unique one out of everybody, for one reason and one reason alone.

Luck.

He could feel a tremendous amount of luck from the last individual who was a woman.

'A Child of Heaven.' Corey narrowed his eyes.

Although her luck was extremely vast, it was still not up to Divine's amount of luck.

In Corey's eyes, the man felt like he and the world were one. It felt like the man was the world's child and the world would do anything to protect him.

He felt like...

'The protagonist of the world... The hero of the world? And a Tier 4?'

Corey's eyes flashed with countless thoughts the more he gazed at the woman.

He recalled Divine's words about there being a hero of New Earth, and if he was right, this man was the hero of New Earth.

Just as Corey was about to take his gaze away from the man, the man glanced at him.

Corey stared at into the man's eyes for a second, and then his gaze landed on another man that stood behind the hero.

The man had no redeeming qualities, but from the moment he appeared, the man had been the first person to look at him.
