The moment Corey said these words, Lydia's lips quivered, and she looked at Corey with a complicated light in her eyes.
Rosa saw this, and she narrowed her eyes.
"It doesn't look like you guys are just acquaintances."
Corey rolled his eyes inwardly and chose to look at Divine instead.
"It doesn't matter. We have more important things to deal with."
Although he didn't care about the feelings of Rosa and Lydia, he could feel a storm of questions coming down at him if he allowed Rosa to keep on questioning him.
Dealing with questions from Rosa and also Lydia's feelings was not something he wanted to do because of how bothersome and pointless it was to him.
Rosa glanced at Corey before looking back at Lydia. She clenched her hands before turning without saying anything.

Corey looked around, and his gaze landed on a formation that was towards his left.

"SELF-DESTRUCT SEQUENCE... ENGAGED.
THERE IS NO ESCAPE.
DETONATION IN... UHM... THIRTY SECONDS.
ALL LIFE SIGNS WILL BE... ERASED.

Loud beeping sounds along with dim red light flickered in the room as the familiar voice of The Clown resounded in the room.
Everybody's expression including Corey's changed. Rosa, Kiefer, Lydia, Selene, the Terror Queen, and young Calista looked at Corey at the same time, and Corey glanced at the formation in the room.
His expression became calm, and he stood with Divine on his shoulder.
"Follow me."
Corey calmly approached the formation, and everybody followed him without a second thought.
Although they tried to remain calm, the constant voice of the Clown was like a ticking bomb... Literally.
"TWENTY SECONDS... NINETEEN SECONDS... EIGHTEEN SECONDS... SEVENTEEN SECONDS..."

He stared at it till the countdown reached ten seconds, and he placed his right foot on the formation.
Void Force pulsed around his foot and then spread across the formation.

A crack akin to that of glass breaking echoed amidst the loud alarm and voice of The Clown, and the moment Corey heard this, he exhaled softly.
'A tracking formation hidden deeply within a teleportation formation... I would have missed it if I didn't thoroughly check it.'

Corey walked into the center of the formation, and Rosa and the rest followed immediately.
Although they had been trying to stay calm even when Corey stood without saying anything or moving in front of the formation, they were still extremely anxious.
"SIX SECONDS... FIVE SECONDS... FOUR SECONDS..."
Corey poured his Void Force into the formation, and the formation emitted a grey light for a second before they all vanished.

The Clown's laughter echoed in the entire Underworld as a fast and loud beeping sound echoed in every part of the Underworld.

It started with key places in the Underworld. First of all, the Meal Room exploded, and then the Entire Amphitheatre exploded.
Areas like the Central Hub of the Central Area, the Underworld Emporiums, and the Libraries were the center of explosions in the entire City of Sin.
Demons, Underworld residents, Underworld officials, and the Neon-mutants were like ants before the explosion.
The countdown of The Clown occurred in every part of the Underworld, so the Underworld residents and the low-level officials began panicking when they heard this.
As for the demons, some tried to run back into the portals to the Internal Realm. As for those that were moving with their instincts and could not think, or those that were consumed by bloodlust, they continued battling, killing, and being killed by the Underworld residents, officials, and Neon-mutants.
Meanwhile, the Neon-mutants behaved like mindless zombies that killed anything around them.
Corey was no longer in control of them and had left the Neon-mutants to their fates.
With the scale of the explosion he was expecting, he didn't expect the Neon-mutants to survive at all.

After activating the teleportation formation, Corey observed their movement through space to make sure that nothing out of the ordinary happened.
Through his observation, there was one thing he noticed, and that was the duration of the teleportation.
Although it was just a few seconds... A total of five seconds at most, Corey knew that the distance they had crossed was a long one.
It was not absurdly long, but it was equivalent to moving through five large cities.
Some moments later, the teleportation ended and the first thing Corey did before anything else was to summon a platform of hexagon barriers beneath him and the rest.
