Chapter 601: Chapter 601 They Really Loved Each Other, Right?

The surveillance footage was quickly found.

Brandon Piers watched with a tense expression as the little one in the video crawled out of the villa by himself while Juliet Rosa and Aunt Claudia were chatting. He crawled down the steps into the yard, then from the yard to the next door. Holding onto a flower basket, he tried to stand up, probably to find Abigail, but wobbled and fell into it. A careless loader then put him on the flower car.

Did he end up at the wedding venue?

Brandon Piers finished watching the surveillance, his brow furrowing deeply. He didn’t want to go to the wedding venue today.

How could he have the heart to witness Jeffrey Foster and Abigail’s happiness?

But there was an unruly one at home.

"The young master got on the young lady’s... Miss Smith’s flower car, there shouldn’t be any problem, right?" Alex wondered if it was his illusion. He felt that the young master deliberately crawled out; otherwise, how could he coincidentally avoid everyone’s sight? He shook his head. The young master was only eleven months old; if that were the case, it would defy logic. It must have been a coincidence.

But after Alex finished speaking, Juliet Rosa’s eyes turned red with anxiety. "The young master fell into a basket full of roses. His skin is so tender, what if he gets pricked? It’s all my fault!"

"To the scene." Brandon Piers, who had been silent, furrowed his eyebrows tightly at Juliet’s words and suddenly stood up.

Alex, Juliet, Aunt Claudia, and others hurried to follow. Security personnel and a few others followed at a distance.

The wedding was arranged at Bob’s farm, but because the farm was large, it took more than thirty minutes to walk around from the main gate. However, it only took about ten minutes to cross the fence and walk directly to the wedding scene.

The flower car had already left nearly forty minutes ago.

Brandon Piers couldn’t care less about etiquette. He crossed the fence and ran across the lawn towards the wedding venue.

The others followed behind, including Alex, Aunt Claudia, and Juliet, along with security personnel, a large group following Brandon.

Before reaching the scene, Brandon already heard music, frowning even more deeply.

Getting closer, he saw about ten tables set up on the green grass, each filled with exquisite food. Though simple, it was not crude. The circular stage made of flowers had Abigail and Jeffrey Foster standing in the center. It was clear the ceremony was about to begin.

The music came from a well-known local band, which wasn’t cheap. Jeffrey Foster must have spent both money and effort to hire them.

Brandon Piers had mentally prepared himself, but as he saw Abigail standing on the stage with Jeffrey, his heart still ached, feeling unbearable pain. He forgot about Teddy and just stood there in place.

Their arrival was soon noticed by other guests, who immediately became wary.

Jeffrey Foster had invited neighboring residents to his two weddings. Last time was spoiled, and now, as the couple was about to complete their ceremony, more troublemakers appeared.

As Abigail and Jeffrey Foster were about to recite their vows, they sensed the strange atmosphere and turned to see Brandon Piers standing not far away with seven or eight people.

Abigail trembled internally. Wasn’t he supposed to leave today?

Jeffrey Foster frowned tightly. Just a little more, and the wedding ceremony would start, and everything would be settled. What was Brandon Piers doing here again? Hadn’t he given up?

Looking at Brandon Piers in the distance, Jeffrey Foster’s heart tightened. He instinctively held Abigail’s hand.

Abigail sensed Jeffrey Foster’s anxiety, glanced at him, but couldn’t help looking towards Brandon Piers with unconcealed eagerness.

She thought he had left...

"I came to find Teddy." Brandon Piers felt the strange gazes around him and only then realized how abrupt his actions were. Given his past behavior, the guests’ glances were far from friendly.

No one liked those who disrupted weddings. Once might be forgivable, but twice?

Brandon’s voice sounded weak and unconvincing, even to himself.

But Abigail immediately looked around. "Is Teddy here?"

"Teddy is missing. I saw in the surveillance that he fell into a flower basket and was placed on the flower car." Brandon looked at Abigail.

Abigail panicked. "Teddy fell into the flower basket? With roses..."

She then jerked her hand out of Jeffrey Foster’s grip and began frantically searching the nearby flower baskets.

Jeffrey Foster’s hand felt empty, and his heart clenched. He thought Brandon Piers was doing this on purpose. Otherwise, how could Teddy, so small, crawl to the flower basket alone and fall in without anyone noticing?

But now wasn’t the time for anger. Jeffrey took a deep breath and joined Abigail to find Teddy.

Juliet Rosa and Alex also started searching, turning the wedding venue into chaos.

Brandon Piers, however, remained still, quietly watching the woman anxiously searching for Teddy. She wasn’t wearing a wedding dress today but a red cheongsam.

His little fat girl had indeed lost weight. She could perfectly carry off the cheongsam, which demanded an exact figure. Her temperament could be both pure and enchanting. On her, the red cheongsam exuded rare beauty.

Her waist might have gone down to seventeen inches, even slimmer than when she wore the wedding dress last time. He wondered what it felt like to hold her...

Would they sleep together after today’s wedding? Probably.

Just imagining that left Brandon feeling breathless until someone shouted that they had found him, bringing him back to reality.

Abigail rushed to the person who called out. Seeing Teddy asleep in the flower basket, she tenderly picked him up.

She hadn’t held Teddy for four days, thinking she might never hold him again. Carefully cradling the little one, she couldn’t let go.

Jeffrey approached. "Abigail..."

Seeing the small scratch on Teddy’s cheek, Abigail’s heart ached. Hearing Jeffrey’s voice, she looked up at Juliet, Alex, and Aunt Claudia, who had red eyes. She opened her mouth, but realized she had no right to say anything. Not even the right to hold Teddy a bit longer.

And that man standing not far away, whose eyes hadn’t left her since arriving.

That feeling was strange but slightly stirred her heart. She thought of the fragmented memories from her forced acupuncture sessions recently. Had they really been in love?

If not, why would she feel so angry and upset about his supposed departure, even trying to regain her memory...?

Probably, they had loved each other.

Thinking of this made her heart ache.

As Abigail stood holding the child, Brandon Piers suddenly moved towards the piano on the lawn.
