New World with Four Husbands-Chapter 174: Who they want
Chapter 174: Who they want
"There they go." Renaldo commented and closed the door.
Renaldo found Jonathan’s anxious demeanor completely and utterly adorable, unable to help but feel a sense of protectiveness towards the mediator.
It was as if Jonathan’s vulnerability made him even more endearing and Renaldo found himself wanting to be the one to comfort and protect him— to assure him that he means no harm.
He watched Jonathan’s every movement, taking in the way he fidgeted and the way he kept glancing at Coco with a mixture of nervousness and pleading.
Seeing that, Renaldo found himself wanting to reach out and reassure him even more, to make him feel comfortable and at ease.
"My wife." Renaldo turned around and looked at Jacques who had been quiet the whole time he was talking to Coco and Jonathan, "What are your thoughts about our dearest Coco’s new friend?"
When Renaldo walked inside the shop and saw Jonathan, he couldn’t help but find Jonathan’s appearance worrying.
However, after a few exchanges with him, he found out that Jonathan was like a scared puppy, wide-eyed and seemingly on edge.
Every movement and facial expression made Renaldo want to grab him and tuck him inside of his pocket.
The nervous glances to Coco and hesitant words made him want to take him into his arms and shield him from any harm— burying him deep into a protective embrace.
It was a surprisingly tender feeling and he found himself drawn to Jonathan’s vulnerability in a way he had not expected.
Not to mention, Renaldo found the scars on Jonathan’s face incredibly attractive, rather than off-putting.
They added a rugged and mysterious quality to the mediator’s appearance, something that drew him in and made him more intriguing.
He couldn’t help, but find himself drawn to his scars, tracing the lines on his face with his eyes and feeling a strange sense of awe in the way they framed his face— making him look oddly stoic yet cute.
He wanted to trace his fingers on Jonathan’s scars, tracing the lines and feeling the texture with his fingers.
While Coco was silently assuring Jonathan, his eyes kept trailing on Jonathan’s scars, his mind already imagining all the things he wanted to do to him.
His gaze continued to linger on the marks, his eyes tracing the sharp lines and ridges— like they were a piece of art.
He finds himself wanting to reach out and trace those lines, to explore every dip and curve of the damaged flesh like a blind man reading a map of Jonathan’s history.
It was a strange feeling, but he knows that he wasn’t the only one who was feeling this way.
"I want him, Renaldo." Jacques spoke up after being quiet for the past twenty minutes, just observing Coco, Renaldo, and Jonathan converse among themselves.
Jacques’ first thought when Coco introduced Jonathan to her was that he was cute in a nervous, almost adorable way.
Something about his anxious demeanor was strangely endearing and she found herself smiling at him automatically when their eyes locked onto each other which resulted her not being able to say anything after Coco introduced her to Jonathan.
She just couldn’t help, but find the way he fidgeted and looked around as if he was about to bolt at any moment, his vulnerability making him all the more adorable.
Despite her status as Renaldo’s wife, Jacques couldn’t help but find Jonathan attractive as well.
She watched him closely the moment Renaldo stepped inside the shop, her eyes tracking his every move, taking in every detail of his injured face.
The scars added an air of mystery to him and her gaze lingered on the jagged lines, finding herself drawn to the jagged edges— finding herself wanting to reach out and touch the damaged flesh, to explore the contours of his scars like they were a new landscape to map.
Despite being married to Renaldo, her beloved and darling mediator, Jacques found herself drawn to Jonathan, too.
Just like Renaldo, she found his scars attractive, admiring the way they traced over his face in patterns.
Just like Renaldo, she wanted to reach out and trace the lines with her fingertips, to feel the rough texture of his damaged skin beneath her touch, to learn the story they told with touch instead of sight.
Just like Renaldo, she wanted to grab him and tuck him inside her pocket to protect him from any possible harm.
"I want him, too, my wife." Renaldo smiled towards Jacques and approached her, "There’s just something about him that makes him so.. Alluring, isn’t there?"
Jacques nodded her head and smiled brightly at her husband, letting him place his palms against her cheeks and lean down, planting a soft kiss on her lips that speaks volume about what he feels about her.
"We finally found someone." Renaldo muttered against her lips and caressed her cheek, "Let’s take our time with him, okay?"
Once again, Jacques nodded her head and returned the kiss of her husband with the same fervor.
Renaldo smiled in the kiss and pulled away slowly. "Coco probably only wanted him to have friends, according to the way she assured him with no hesitation, and didn’t expect for Jonathan to be as nervous as he was earlier." ƒreewebηoveℓ.com
"It will be fine." Jacques whispered and leaned her head on his big hands, "It was clear that Coco treasures him like how she treasures us."
"I know." Renaldo chuckled out and pressed his thumb on his wife’s bottom lip, "She will get mad if we try to force Jonathan to do something he’s not comfortable with so it would be better if we take our time courting him."
"I agree." Jacques hummed out and kissed his finger, "We need to thank Coco for introducing such an adorable mediator to us."
Renaldo basked at the way his wife looked at him with so much love, pressing her lips on his skin.
Soon, she will do the same to the new addition to their family.
