My Antique Mirror Is A Portal To Another World-Chapter 43: More Supplies
Chapter 43: More Supplies
After considering it for a moment, the man nodded. "Alright. Let’s exchange contact information. I will negotiate with the villagers and let you know the prices. If you agree, I will arrange the delivery."
"Sure." Bai Hanyun agreed to his suggestion and opened her WeChat.
With that, they exchanged contact information and finalized their agreement. With the vegetables settled, Bai Hanyun drove to another village and spent 690,000 yuan to buy 30,000 kg of chicken meat.
By the time she returned home, both the winter melon and chicken deliveries had arrived. Bai Hanyun quickly signed the delivery forms and paid the remaining balance.
Just as she sent off the delivery men, her phone rang. Seeing that it was Li Dagou, Bai Hanyun answered the call.
"Hello, Boss Li."
A second later, Li Dagou’s voice came through, "Miss Bai, the delivery for the medical supplies is near your house. Can you receive them in a moment?"
"Sure. I’m home right now," Bai Hanyun replied.
"The delivery should arrive in a few minutes," Li Dagou added.
"Understood."
After ending the call, Bai Hanyun took the antique mirror out of her backpack and tapped its corner twice.
She waited until the surface cleared before speaking.
"Feng Xiyan, are you there?"
Inside the commander’s tent, Feng Xiyan had been reading secret reports from his shadow guards. Upon hearing her voice, he put down the report and walked to the altar.
"Xiyan is here," he replied. freёwebnoѵel.com
Noticing how tired he looked, Bai Hanyun said, "You look very tired. Are you alright?"
Sensing the concern in her voice, Feng Xiyan felt warmth in his heart. He smiled and said, "I’m fine. Fairy Bai, do you have something to tell me?"
That question reminded her of the purpose of her contacting him. "Yes. I just bought winter melons and chicken meat. Can you find a spacious area so I can send them over?"
Feng Xiyan’s eyes lit up when he heard she would send meat over. Though he didn’t know what winter melons were, if Bai Hanyun had chosen them, he was sure they’d be good.
With that in mind, he quickly said, "Please wait a moment. I will move the mirror to the warehouse."
Feng Xiyan then wrapped the mirror in red silk, placed it in an exquisite wooden box, and carried it to the warehouse.
While Feng Xiyan was on his way, Bai Hanyun’s phone rang again. It was an unknown number. Thinking that it should be the medical supplies delivery, she answered it.
"Hello? Who is this?" She asked as she placed the antique mirror on the display cabinet.
A second later, a man’s voice replied, "Miss Bai, we are from Sweet Bun Bun Company. We have arrived at your house."
Hearing this, Bai Hanyun replied, "Please wait a moment."
Ending the call, she then quickly went to open the door. Seeing that it was the same delivery team as before, she greeted them with a smile. "Brothers, please move them into my yard."
The delivery men nodded and began unloading boxes of medical supplies. While others carried the boxes in, the team leader noticed the bags of winter melon and chicken meat nearby.
Raising an eyebrow, he asked, "Miss, are you opening a restaurant?"
Curiosity is human nature. Bai Hanyun had expected someone would ask when they saw the supplies in her yard, so she had prepared the answer.
Bai Hanyun smiled calmly and replied, "There have been a lot of natural disasters recently, so I’m donating food and medical supplies to disaster-affected areas."
Hearing this, the team leader nodded in understanding and praised her, "Nowadays, young people rarely donate things to others. Miss, you are doing a good thing."
Bai Hanyun just smiled at the team leader’s words.
After the delivery men finished unloading the medical supplies, Bai Hanyun gave each of them 100 yuan and thanked them.
Once they left, she locked the gate and went to the living room. Noticing that she couldn’t see anything but the red silk cloth on the antique mirror’s surface, Bai Hanyun carried it to the front yard and waited for Feng Xiyan’s news.
Meanwhile, Feng Xiyan had just arrived at the warehouse area. When the soldiers saw him, they clasped their fists and greeted him.
"This subordinate greets the Great General."
Feng Xiyan nodded at them and went to check the three large tents used as warehouses. Seeing that only one of the tents was filled with supplies while the other two were completely empty, he took the mirror out of the wooden box.
Standing inside one of the empty tents, he said, "Fairy Bai, I’m ready."
Hearing this, Bai Hanyun replied, "Good. I will send them over at once. Please be careful and keep a safe distance."
Recalling the experience of almost being buried under falling metal boxes, Feng Xiyan quickly placed the mirror on the ground and took a few steps back.
A few seconds later, the mirror shone brightly, and countless transparent plastic bags filled with winter melon were spit out from the mirror.
Looking at the big, green winter melons, Feng Xiyan’s eyes filled with curiosity. He opened one bag, took out one winter melon, sniffed, and inspected it carefully.
"So these are winter melons? They look like gourds." He muttered and placed the winter melon back in the transparent plastic bag.
Seeing that the tent was almost full, he hurriedly said, "Fairy Bai, this warehouse is full. I’m going to move to another one."
On the other side, Bai Hanyun paused before sending the chicken meat. Watching Feng Xiyan leave the tent, she replied, "Alright."
While Bai Hanyun was waiting patiently, Feng Xiyan rushed to the other empty tent. Placing the mirror on the ground, he said, "Fairy Bai, you can send the goods over."
"Got it," Bai Hanyun replied, then sent the 30,000 kilograms of chicken meat to Feng Xiyan.
Instantly, boxes of chicken meat disappeared from Bai Hanyun’s side and appeared in front of Feng Xiyan.
