Mummy Evolution-Chapter 74: I will force you
"Outsider, what do you mean?" Zainah asked warily.
"Don't joke with me," the Prince said calmly. "You, your sister, and that guy. All of you should be outsiders." He sneered. "Did you think I just gave you 20 Tomb Hearts just for the sake of it?"
Zainah paled, while Sett turned his golden eyes directly at the Prince.
He had a bad premonition about this conversation.
"I saw you appearing out of nowhere, Miss Zainah," the Prince said, his face emotional. "I followed you for a while, I planned to see you use your abilities. But when your stomach growled in hunger, I felt that I had to help you. That I must protect you."
That must have been when she used Game of Benefits on the Prince.
Zainah clenched her fists, nervous.
"..."
Sett also stared at the Prince, noticing that it was not a bluff.
"Don't be nervous," Egrith said. "If I wanted to hurt you, I would have long done that."
"What do you want?" Sett asked coldly.
Egrith smirked, ignoring Sett and looking at Zainah. "It is simple. But before I tell you my demands, let me tell you some other things."
Zainah stared at Sett, feeling the severity of the situation.
The Kemet Prince looked out into the desert—to the sand storms. "Nobody inside this Tomb will be able to leave this place, not us natives, nor you outsiders. So, the rest of your life is bound to be lived inside this place."
"We can't leave?" Sett sneered. "What, is there some God as a guardian for this Tomb?"
The Kemet prince smiled. "There is no God, but there might as well have been, you outsider trash. There is only a single Guardian to this Tomb, but that thing is a Tier 5 being. And it has two Tier 4 subordinates."
Sett was still calm. "Then we just have to fight the Tombs around us until we grow strong enough to fight it. Then, we will kill it."
"Such a beautiful dream," Egrith laughed. "If there were at least Tier 4 Tombs around, that is. The lands around no longer have any Tier 4 Tombs—there is no way to grow strong enough to fight a Tier 5 while inside Kemet."
The natives hadn't known they were inside a Tomb before today—they had been living their lives normally. They had been thinking that their world had lands outside Kemet, that they had a real life surrounding them.
But now, it was clear. The lands outside Kemet never existed, they were illusions and now, after outsiders came—one couldn't even go outside Kemet due to a colorless space wall.
After days of deep thinking, they already knew they were in a Tomb.
That had caused a deep existential crisis for them.
Even Egrith was full of anger towards the heavens.
He was not a real human?
His world was not a real world?
He was a mere figment of time?!
How dare the heavens toy with him so!
From then on, everyone in the upper echelon of the empire had become obsessed with killing the Tomb Guardian. But obsession was useless without means.
Gold was the one who became most frightened.
"There aren't even Tier 4 Tombs here?"
Sett's face wasn't that good either.
That meant there was no way for a Tomb Raider to grow stronger in this place after Tier 3. And to escape from this Tomb, they had to fight and kill a Tier 5 existence who had two Tier 4 subordinates.
This Tomb had something seriously wrong with it.
Unless you entered this Tomb as a Tier 5 being, it was indeed one of the uncrackable Tombs of the world.
"Where are you headed with this?" Zarah asked from behind Sett, hidden from the glares of the Prince.
The Prince smiled.
"As you can understand, whether we want it or not, the rest of our life—you outsiders and us natives—is going to be spent inside my empire. Kemet. No matter what kind of statuses you had outside, it no longer matters."
Sett's face became dark.
Egrith looked at Zainah. "Since you are going to spend the rest of your life here, it is obvious what you should do. You should choose a mate that can give you the best life. And that is, without a doubt, me."
He moved his hand to pet Zainah's face but Sett held his wrist tightly.
The Prince continued with a smile: "I am the Prince of the lands, while he is a nobody I can kill with just an order. I am a Tier 3 'Sacred' Tomb Raider and he, the one opposing me, is someone I can crush with ease."
Saying that, he gripped Sett's wrist and his diamond body began to crack.
Sett grimaced but he remained standing.
Seeing Zarah's fearful face and Zainah's discomfort, the Prince let the hand go. He wanted to show Zainah that he was generous, not petty, after all.
He didn't notice it but Sett noticed the influence of Game of Benefits.
Egrith said, "You don't have to choose now, I will give you a day, but let me give you a little information. I will not tolerate you choosing him, and I will not hesitate to use my backing to crush you and take you forcefully."
He wanted to see how these real people could fight him, a mere figment of time.
Look, wasn't he better than them?
They were basically in his palm.
With a swish of his sleeves, the Prince turned around and walked away. "I want you to sire me a few children, Miss Zainah. And as you can see, I am a much better mate for you. Do choose by tomorrow, or I wouldn't find it interesting anymore.
"And you don't want to lose my interest after gaining it."
He couldn't wait to sire a few children with this real beauty.
Zarah and Zainah came to look at Sett's hand, which was bleeding. His whole body was shaking, too.
As soon as the Prince was out of sight, Sett couldn't hold it anymore and fell on his knees. He didn't want to be seen as weak by his woman, but there was no choice. His whole body began showing hair-line cracks.
He gasped.
The Prince had too powerful a body.
Tier 3 was a stage that was much different from the Tiers that came before it. It was a stage of great transcendence. It was a stage when you could say to have claimed real power for yourself as one of the elites of the world.
And Sett was far from matching it.
He has at least 30 tons of force, Sett surmised.
Whereas, he himself only had 4.4 Tons of force!
Only after a second, healing himself using his Axiom, did Sett stand up straight. With that, only enough ghosts to heal him once more remained inside his Inner Tomb.
Yet, his eyes were so calm, Zainah felt nervous under the glance.
"You did good, no need to make someone like him an enemy yet."
Though he said that, Zainah felt an empty tone in his voice.
Her heart immediately clenched.
Sett took a deep breath and walked to the edge of the great wall. He turned to look at Shining Gold, who was some distance away.
"Hey, ally, let's go for a hunt outside. I need your strength."
"A hunt?"
"I am feeling a bit murderous, let's see what these Great Beasts are all about."
He then looked at Zainah and Zarah.
"Stay around here, I'll be back in a bit."
They would just hold him back out there. He looked at Zainah—his golden eyes twinkling in amazement for a short second—then looked back into the desert outside.
Gold nodded.
With that, Sett directly slid down the great wall, hands sliding on it as he fell.
Gold followed.
After they were gone, Zarah frowned. "Sis, I think Sett was a bit sad that you didn't firmly state that you were his woman right then and there."
Zainah clenched her fist. "What was I to do, you saw the Prince was threatening us. Even Sett couldn't fight him—not to mention an entire Empire is behind that prince."
Zarah was speechless. "Sett didn't use his abilities. He fought Shining White when he was even weaker than the current me."
"Shining White didn't have an empire behind him! If I angered that guy, even you and Sett might end up in danger!"
Zarah took a deep breath. "But are you really going to choose that prince if it comes to it? Sett is so good to us."
"Of-of course not," Zainah said with a blush.
Did Zarah understand that her sister's heart already belonged to Sett?
She said firmly: "We have to delay this till the slaughter Sett spoke about. He must have some plans."
She herself didn't notice it but she was becoming bolder. The past her would have buckled under such pressure, but the current her was no longer the same person. She had transformed.
And even though she didn't notice it, the perceptive Zarah did.
No wonder Big Brother Sett loves sister.

Humph. Humph.
It was all that ugly prince's fault.
