Mated To My Boyfriend's Dad-Chapter 258: Ungrateful Little Bitch!
Chapter 258: Ungrateful Little Bitch!
The next morning, long after Fergus had slipped back into Rhett’s house, he was delighted when he got downstairs and saw the news.
Dew was dead... of course, he’d been the one to kill her. He hadn’t bothered hiding the body just to keep the pack on their toes. Now the pack soldiers were left wondering why this random fairy girl had been murdered.
What made Fergus even more delighted was watching Kylo spiral slowly into mad rage after he found out. He seemed like he was in denial at first, but soon began vowing to kill the person who killed his mate.
However, Isleen, being the annoying softball that she was, tried calming down her ex-boyfriend. Fergus used the opportunity to whisper reasons why Gamma Rhett was incompetent. Reasons why Kylo should be angry at him.
As if sleeping with his girlfriend wasn’t enough.
However, at a point, Isleen couldn’t hold in her annoyance anymore and snapped. "C– Cullen, what the heck? What is your goal here?"
Hmm... it seemed she’d been growing some balls.
Fergus sniggered in reply. "I could ask you the same thing, Megami." he made sure to imitate Liam’s voice, smirking discreetly when he saw the terror flashing past Isleen’s eyes.
He was getting tired of hiding himself from her, so why not start showing himself slowly? He wouldn’t need to hide again soon enough.
It didn’t take long for Kylo to snap and get away from the both of them and soon, he stormed up the stairs to his bedroom.
"Excellent." Fergus rubbed his palms together, chuckling mischievously to himself even as Isleen gave him a dirty look.
"You’re sick, you know that right?" Isleen shook her head, as she stepped away from him.
However, Fergus quickly grabbed her right elbow, causing her to wince in pain. He grinned when he saw her shivering in fear.
"W–what the? C–Cullen, let go of me." She gave him a warning look as her eyes traveled from his palm to his eyes.
He persisted, making sure to sound as unbothered as possible. "Come on, you know what you want to say." He grinned.
He wasn’t a fool. He’d been noticing the changes in Isleen’s mood toward him ever since their arrival from the camp yesterday. He’d noticed how uncomfortable she was around him, even when he was just trying to be friendly.
He wouldn’t take it. He wouldn’t take her avoiding the inevitable.
Isleen blinked nervously and was about to speak, but they soon heard Kylo’s approaching footsteps from upstairs. Fergus let go of her elbow, giving her a wink.
Soon, Kylo came downstairs but barely glanced at them. He simply picked up his phone that he’d dropped and went to the living room door, slamming it violently behind him.
Fergus glanced at Isleen from the corner of his eyes but wasn’t prepared for what happened next. She ran upstairs, not looking back even once.
"Time for a little game of cat and mouse." He licked his lips as he slowly went up the stairs.
He took his time, his ears picking up the increased pace of Isleen’s breathing. Oh, she definitely knew who and what he was. And she knew that he knew that she knew too... if that made sense.
The point was there was no need to hide his true intentions anymore. He’d make his move now before Kylo or anyone else shows up.
If his guess was right, Kylo had gone to confront his father and if things got heated, he would help him complete his ultimate mission. Killing Gamma Rhett.
"This calls for a celebration." Fergus mused as he gently drummed his fingers on the wooden rail of the stairs while taking his time climbing up. "Oh, Isleen." He called out with a playful tone.
He heard her shutting her room door behind her and even bolting the door with so many locks. Pfft... pathetic.
"Come on out, Isleen. I only want to play." He blurted as he finally got in front of her door. "Aren’t you tired of playing over and over again with boring old Gamma Rhett?"
He was easily able to hear her trying to dial someone’s number but it seemed it wasn’t connecting. Too bad...
With a simple kick, Fergus broke down the door, as if the locks Isleen placed on it were nothing. ƒгeewebnovёl.com
Meanwhile, Isleen screamed in terror, as she placed her palms in front of her. "Stay back... I’m warning you. Gamma... Gamma Rhett wouldn’t be lenient with you if you hurt me."
Fergus posed dramatically, placing both his palms on his chest. "Oh my gosh, promise?" He chuckled when he saw the despondency and dread etched on her face.
The room was lit up with a white light, making it pretty easy for him to notice something. Right there, on top of her dresser, was a dagger. A silver dagger.
"Well, well, well..." he walked toward the dagger, grabbing its handle with a smirk. "So, you’re the one who took this dagger off me? Let me guess... it was the final evidence you needed to find out my true identity."
Isleen’s chest went up and down as her eyes darted desperately around the room. Ugh, he’d seen that look a thousand times. It had never ended well for his victims.
"Things don’t have to be this way, Megami." He moved slowly toward her, not stopping even as she stepped backward to get away from him.
"D– Don’t call me that!" Isleen shook her head defiantly, looking at him like he was the greatest evil on the planet. "You’re nothing but a monster! Your tricks and deceit don’t work on me anymore, Ferguson."
Oh, la, la...The plot thickens! So she even knew his real name now? Good. He’d reward her for that.
"If I’m a monster, then you’re nothing but an ungrateful little bitch!" He snarled menacingly, as his bones shifted. "After everything I’ve done for you, you still wouldn’t accept me? I got rid of those who bullied you. I saved your life during the vampire attack instead of allowing those vampires to end your flimsy excuse for a life. Heck, I was a shoulder to lean on when you came crying to me about that stupid mate of yours!"
Isleen squirmed in shock at his reaction. Hell, he was at his wit’s end. What else could a woman fucking want?
Fergus ignored her expression as his eyes glowed a blood red. "If you wouldn’t take me the easy way, then I guess I’ll have to be a little... rough."
His fangs popped out as he lunged at her.
