Married For Now-Chapter 155: MOST HATED PERSON
Chapter 155: MOST HATED PERSON
"YOU’RE still in the early phase of your pregnancy, but it doesn’t hurt to be extra careful, Sohee-ssi."
Sohee unconsciously touched his stomach and rubbed it gently. "Did you see something wrong with my body, Dr. Seong? I know that Omegas get physically weaker when they get pregnant. But I thought I’d be a bit different because I’m a Dominant Omega."
"It doesn’t matter whether you’re a Dominant Omega or not, being pregnant is one of the most dangerous things in the world. Your body changes, and a life is formed in your womb," Dr. Seong Kyungmin started to explain. "Sohee-ssi, can I speak as an older brother instead of your doctor? As you know, outside this profession, Heedo is a dear dongsaeng to me. Can I treat you the same way?’
Oh.
Sohee was quite pleased, to be honest.
Heedo respects Dr. Seong as a hyung, so it feels nice that Dr. Seong acknowledges me as Heedo’s husband. I mean, I don’t need other people’s validation. But it still feels good to be recognized as Heedo’s husband by people in his circle.
"Please speak comfortably, Dr. Seong."
"Alright," Dr. Seong Kyungmin said while nodding. "Sohee-ya, as you already know, I’m friends with Song Sihyuk."
"Ah, yes." ƒreewebηoveℓ.com
"Song Sihyuk is my friend, but he’s a bad person."
Hmm?
To be honest, Sohee wondered why Dr. Seong Kyungmin brought up Song Sihyuk.
But any slander against Sihyuk-ssi is welcomed, so let’s just keep our mouth shut and listen.
"Oh, I’m not talking bad behind his back— I also say this stuff straight to his face. His name is even saved as ’Scumbag’ on my phone, and he knows that. So, please don’t think that we’re gossiping about him."
"Ah, yes, of course."
"When Lim Garam got pregnant, he almost got a miscarriage because Song Sihyuk wanted to lock him up in his house. If Song Sihyuk didn’t lose his memories at the time, I don’t think Lim Garam would have been able to give birth to his baby due to severe stress."
Oh.
I already know that Sihyuk-ssi is an asshole, but I didn’t know he was this bad.
"Of course, I know that Heedo is good to you," Dr. Seong Kyungmin continued. "I’m just saying that stress is one of the leading causes of miscarriage among Omegas. I understand that you want to finish this semester before you take a break. If possible, I’d suggest you do that by switching to online classes. It will be safer for you to stay at home in the meantime."
Hmm?
The last part of the doctor’s advice sounded a bit suspicious.
"Dr. Seong, did you hear anything from Song Sihyuk-ssi about my situation?"
"I didn’t hear the details, but from what I’ve heard, Sohee-ssi must be extra cautious," Dr. Seong Kyungmin said carefully. "Heedo didn’t say anything to you, did he?"
Sohee shook his head.
"Actually, when Heedo called me last night to set this appointment, he asked me what he should be the most careful about during your pregnancy. I told him that he should make sure you’re not stressed. That’s probably why he isn’t telling you anything about the situation."
I figured that much.
"But if you’re feeling more stressed for not knowing about what’s going on around you, then please feel free to let us know," Dr. Seong Kyungmin said. "Heedo isn’t Song Sihyuk— he’ll listen to you and respect your wishes."
"Oh, we already talked about it earlier, Dr. Seong," Sohee said, smiling. "We decided that I shouldn’t get involved since Heedo can handle it. And I’m fine with it." He gently patted his tummy. "I’d like to focus my energy on taking care of our little bean."
"Very well. If you find yourself being stressed, give me a call."
Sohee was just about to thank Dr. Seong Kyungmin, but to his surprise, Kim Heedo returned to the office in a hurry.
And his husband’s complexion didn’t look good.
"Sohee Hyung, we should go home," Kim Heedo said in a serious tone while helping Sohee get up from his seat. "Now."
***
SOMETHING is definitely up.
Sohee followed Kim Heedo quietly, without asking questions, while they were headed to the basement parking lot.
That can wait.
He knew they had to go home first.
Judging by how tight Kim Heedo held his hand, he could tell that his husband was a bit agitated.
Moreover, they were surrounded by their bodyguards led by Kang Sul.
Usually, their bodyguards remained in the shadows.
But, this time, their presence was heavy as if they were warning everyone to stay away from Sohee and Kim Heedo.
There’s obviously a threat here.
And it didn’t take long for that "threat" to come out.
"It" appeared when Sohee and Kim Heedo were about to reach their car.
"Park Sohee, you ungrateful punk!"
Almost immediately, the bodyguards created a circle to protect Sohee and Kim Heedo.
Then Kang Sul and two more bodyguards quickly apprehended the culprit.
"How dare you treat your own father like shit, Park Sohee?!"
Yes, the culprit was Park Mansu.
My deadbeat father.
Sohee unconsciously hugged his belly as Kim Heedo stood in front of him protectively, effectively hiding him from his useless father.
That person escaped...?
Park Mansu should be quietly working in the construction site, under the surveillance of Kim Heedo’s subordinates.
I guess Heedo has a lot to explain to me later.
"You forced me to do hard labor, and you steal half of my earnings!" Park Mansu continued yelling despite being slammed into the ground— Kang Sul was even holding the back of his head, causing his cheek to get pressed against the asphalt. "You made my life a living hell while you’re living like a royal!"
Haaah.
Sohee took a peek at his deadbeat father— just in time to see a "scene" that seemed so fantasy-like.
What the...!
Park Mansu yelled something incoherent— like a chant that didn’t make sense— before Kang Sul and the other bodyguards apprehending him were sent flying.
Sohee got nervous when his deadbeat father suddenly got up, looking stronger than normal.
That person’s eyes look crazy!
It was as if Park Mansu was possessed.
Possessed...?
"An ungrateful child like you should be punished!"
Sohee gasped when he saw Park Mansu pull out what seemed like a weird knife from the back pocket of his pants.
Is that a dagger?
He wasn’t worried even if his father was armed.
After all, the bodyguards around them all took out their guns and pointed them at Park Mansu.
Oh, they have guns.
Park Mansu, who was shocked to see the bodyguards aiming their guns at him, suddenly stopped dead on his tracks— his face went pale as if he just realized his big mistake.
They can shoot him faster than he can wield that dagger, after all.
"So, you came here with the intention of harming my husband."
Hmm?
Sohee felt a chill down his spine when Kim Heedo spoke in a very, very cold tone.
It sounded so threatening that even the bodyguards around them flinched.
"How dare you?"
Sohee gasped when Kim Heedo started walking towards Park Mansu. "Heedo-ya..."
"Stay there, Hyung."
Oh.
Kim Heedo’s voice sounded so commanding that Sohee found himself frozen on the spot.
Moreover, his husband released his pheromones mixed with bloodlust— affecting even the other Alphas around them.
In fact, some of the weaker Alphas fell to their knees.
Thankfully, it didn’t have that kind of effect on Sohee.
I don’t like the scent, but it’s not really harming me.
"Protect my husband."
"Y-Yes, sir!"
When Kim Heedo stepped outside the "circle" and broke the formation, the bodyguards quickly regrouped and made another circle.
This time, only Sohee was inside that formation.
"D-Don’t come near me!" Park Mansu yelled in a trembling voice while raising the dagger in his trembling hand. "I-I’ll kill you!"
Sohee frowned.
He was worried about Kim Heedo, but his father didn’t really sound or look convincing.
When I was young, I thought Abeoji was big and scary.
But now, next to Kim Heedo, his father looked so small.
Everyone with eyes could tell that Park Mansu was no match against Kim Heedo even though Park Mansu was armed.
Even Heedo’s confident gait looks intimidating.
No wonder Park Mansu panicked.
"I-I said I’ll kill you!"
Park Mansu then ran towards Kim Heedo while brandishing the dagger recklessly.
Sohee knew Kim Heedo could have easily dodged Park Mansu’s clumsy attack, so he was shocked when Kim Heedo grabbed the blade instead of simply avoiding it.
Heedo-ya...!
Sohee gasped loudly when he saw Kim Heedo’s hand bleed profusely.
He wanted to yell and tell his husband to return to his side, but he missed the chance to do so when Kim Heedo suddenly punched Park Mansu in the face with his other hand.
Oh.
Just one punch and Park Mansu already fell on his butt with his nose bleeding.
"It hurts! It hurts! You fucking broke my nose!"
Kim Heedo scoffed before throwing the dagger on the ground, and then he grabbed Park Mansu by the collar— forcing the old man to get up, only to punch the bastard in the face again.
Then the same thing happened again and again.
Oh.
Sohee covered his mouth with his hands while watching Kim Heedo punch the living daylights out of Park Mansu.
Each punch looked heavy and solid.
Heedo is really angry...
Dammit.
Kim Heedo might end up killing Park Mansu at this rate!

THERE was a hole-in-the-wall restaurant that Chairman Kim Hyungsik would often eat at before attending an important meeting. It looked shabby outside, but it was pretty cozy inside. Moreover, every dish served there was warm and delicious.
Hence, he would go there before closing an important deal as if doing so would bring him luck.
Today was one of those days.
Just because he was now the chairman of one of the biggest conglomerates in South Korea didn’t mean he had forgotten about the simple meals that he used to have when he was dirt poor.
As a superstitious person, I feel like the meeting won’t go well unless I dine here first.
Even though it was almost a tradition for him to be at that restaurant, only a few people were aware of that fact outside his family.
Hence, it was a surprise when an expected person showed up there.
Of course, every time he was there, he would rent the entire restaurant. But that didn’t stop the uninvited guest from approaching him.
"Should I ask the madam to leave, Chairman Kim?"
"That won’t be necessary," Kim Hyungsik said to his secretary, lifting his head to meet the gaze of the uninvited guest. "To what do I owe this pleasure, Shaman Crystal?"
Shaman Crystal flashed her business smile at him. "Would you like me to read your fortune for you, Chairman Kim?"
