KI GAYOON didn’t know why, but he felt kind of nervous while waiting for Noh Yuno’s response. But, in his defense, he just didn’t want a messy professional relationship with his exclusive Guide.

If that woman turned out to be Noh Yuno’s ex-girlfriend, then it might turn into a problem since she seems to be the obsessive type—

"Ahjuhyung, why do you assume my female stalker is my ex-girlfriend?"

"Good. If you have something you want to know about E-Class Guides, then just ask me instead of Sajangnim. My boss doesn’t know anything."

"You know that Moon Noa sealed his memories?"

"I think it’s better that if Sajangnim keeps them sealed," Noh Yuno said. "I hate to meddle with my boss’ personal life, but I have to say this: Sajangnim will yield to Esper Ryu Sungbin if ever Esper Ryu Sungbin seduces him."

"Ahjuhyung, is it possible that you’re worried—"

"I’ll be screwed if I lose my exclusive Guide after paying a fortune for you."

"Right," Noh Yuno said, avoiding his gaze as he walked past him. "See you later, Ahjuhyung."

"I thought he was interested in Yuyu," Noa said, sitting on the chair next to the bed while placing the fruit basket down on the night table. "Could I be wrong?"

"Are you playing Cupid now? Do you have that much time in your hands?"

"I should be asking you that, Hyung-nim. How long are you going stay here in the hospital and pretend that you’re in a critical condition?"

Kwak Hakjae— 45 years old, A-Class Esper, current Esper Association Head.

""A crazy high-class Esper has found his exclusive E-Class Guide— and now his Madness no longer controls him,’" Noa said, smiling. "Let’s sell this story to the Information Guild."

"Will you be fine? You signed a contract with Cheol Kang."

"I didn’t name Yoonyoon and Yuyu— so why won’t I be fine?"

Kwak Hakjae looked confused at first, and then he laughed out loud. "You’re really a sly fox, Moon Noa," he said. "But Espers think that the existence of E-Class Guides is just a myth. Even if we sell that kind of information, who will buy it?"

"The right people will find that information useful. For example, Espers hoping to escape the government’s control and Guides hiding their real class," Noa said confidently. "We just need a precedent to make them come out— and that’s the role Yuyu and Yoonyoon will fill."

"How will those two be the precedent when you have to hide Noh Yuno’s real class and his matching rate with Ki Gayoon?"

"Most Awakened People aren’t stupid— they’ll figure out that the E-Class Guide and high-class Esper in the rumor are Noh Yuno and Ki Gayoon, respectively."

Kwak Hakjae laughed again. "That’s just your wishful thinking, right?"
