"I’m ready, Gayoon Oppa," Lee Sarang said, kneeling before Yuno while holding the treasure chest made of ice. The female Esper was looking straight at Yuno with a worried look on her face. "Yuno-ya, I’ll seal the Ice Cube as soon as you put it in."

Yuno, whose energy was draining fast, nodded. "Okay, Noona. I’m pulling it out now."

Lee Sarang just nodded firmly.

Here goes nothing.

Yuno took a deep breath before he carefully pulled out the Esper Core from his chest.

It stung a bit, and blood kept dripping out of the hole in his chest— but the said hole quickly closed by itself as soon as he took out the Esper Core.

Without wasting any more time, he put the Esper Core in the Ice Cube.

"Aww. This is the first time I heard you thank me that sincerely, Gayoon-ah," Lee Woonhak said teasingly. "We’re eternally grateful to our madam for turning you back into a decent human being, Boss."

"Hyung."

"Yes, yes, I’m leaving."

And Lee Woonhak quickly left the room.

Gayoon then stood up, took off his jacket, opened a few buttons of his shirt, and then he lay down next to the sleeping Noh Yuno.

Of course, he moved as carefully as possible as to not disturb his lover’s rest.

"Yuno-ya, I’m not upset," Gayoon said, closing his eyes while gently wrapping an arm around Noh Yuno’s waist. "You can do whatever you want— I’ll make sure to keep you alive."

He wanted to sleep, but his phone suddenly rang.

Gayoon snapped his fingers, and then his phone moved on its own until it fell on his hand.

It was Moon Noa calling.

Hence, it was a call that he couldn’t really ignore.
