"I’M GOING to guide Sarang-ie."

"No, it’s dangerous," Ki Gayoon said sternly, standing up at the same time Song Jia got up from her seat, and then he snapped his fingers when Song Jia tried to touch Lee Sarang’s shoulder. "That’s the Ice Queen and not Lee Sarang."

Song Jia’s body floated, and it was as if the wind carried her to the entrance of the boutique’s VIP room.

"We’ll deal with Lee Sarang," Gayoon said without even looking at Song Jia. "Go and evacuate the Civilians."

Gayoon then turned to Noh Yuno was still sitting on the sofa.

He wanted to tell his lover to stay behind him, but he was shocked when Noh Yuno glared at him.

"Why?" Gayoon asked nervously. "Did I do or say something that upset you?"

"Yeah, you did," Noh Yuno said, frowning. "I’ll tell you what you did wrong later. Apprehend Sarang Noona first— then I’ll guide her."

Ah.

Noh Yuno sounded scary just now.

It was ridiculous that Gayoon was more afraid of his lover’s wrath than Lee Sarang’s Rampage.

What did I do wrong this time?

"Hyung, what are you doing?" Noh Yuno asked impatiently. "Esper Lee Sarang-ssi’s Mana is starting to get really scary."

Ah, this is really the Ice Queen. There’s no way Lee Sarang would act this way towards me. That kid only cares about Mo Hanjin.

"Oppa, choose— me or that Guide?"

"Noh Yuno, of course."

"Oppa!"

"Why would I choose you over my lover?" Gayoon asked, scoffing. And then he put his hand on top of Lee Sarang’s head. Ah, dammit. The kid’s body was cold. It was like touching a block of ice. "Lee Sarang, I’ll lend you my Guide’s power. Don’t resist, and don’t attack him. If you do, then you’ll be my enemy."

Lee Sarang looked shocked by the idea of being Gayoon’s enemy.

Is she going to snap completely?

However, the opposite happened.

Lee Sarang’s Mana suddenly returned to normal, and then she burst into tears. "Gayoon Oppa doesn’t love me anymore..."

"I never loved you, though?"

Lee Sarang only cried louder and harder.

Gayoon was confused.

Well, at least, Lee Sarang’s deadly fog has vanished.

But the possibility of snapping and going on a Rampage was still high.

"Hyung, you suck at consoling children," Noh Yuno said when he stood next to Gayoon. But his attention was focused on Lee Sarang. "Esper Lee Sarang-ssi, you may not like to hear it from me, but Gayoon Hyung really cares about you."

Lee Sarang remained frowning, but it didn’t seem like she would attack Noh Yuno.

Even so, Gayoon didn’t let his guard down.

"Gayoon Hyung has a soft spot for you, Esper Lee Sarang-ssi," Noh Yuno said in a patient voice, as if he was talking to a child. And then he got down on one knee while looking up at Lee Sarang. "Can I hold your hand? Gayoon Hyung is so worried about you that he’s willing to share me with you. As you know, Gayoon Hyung is possessive. If it’s another Esper, he would have left them to die instead of sharing my ability with them."

"Damn right," Gayoon said, frowning because he didn’t like how Noh Yuno was kneeling in front of Lee Sarang as if he was proposing to her. He knew that it wasn’t the case. But he was still pissed off because he had a bad case of jealousy. "You better be grateful, Lee Sarang. If I didn’t care about you, I would have let you go on a Rampage and let Mo Hanjin take care of your mess—"

"Hyung, shut it."

Gayoon just acted like he was zipping his mouth.

"Esper Lee Sarang-ssi, let me guide you," Noh Yuno said softly while extending his hand to Lee Sarang. "Please?"

Lee Sarang pouted, but she grabbed Noh Yuno’s hand. "Just this once!"

SARANG NOONA’s hand is cold.

So cold, actually.

Yuno wondered if he was going to turn into an ice statue soon, but he put that scary thought aside.

I said I’ll guide Sarang Noona, but I intend to do more than that.

Hence, he did something that would guarantee to make Ki Gayoon and Moon Noa mad if they found out.

Yuno actually used his life force.

A tiny bit of life force, to be precise— probably worth a day or two of his lifespan.

However, it seemed like it was enough.

Lee Sarang’s eyes widened in shock, probably feeling the strange yet warm energy flowing in her veins now. "Your touch feels good, Noh Yuno."

"Yah," Ki Gayoon complained right away. "Don’t hit on my boyfriend, brat."

"I’m not," Lee Sarang said, still pouting. "But this is the first time I’ve felt this way from a Guide’s touch. I feel like melting. It feels good, really good."

"Lee Sarang, I’m getting mad for real."

Aigoo.

Noh Yuno was glad that Lee Sarang and Ki Gayoon were bickering.

Hence, he didn’t have to open his mouth— and he couldn’t.

I’m sure I’m going to cough up blood as soon as I do.

His throat was itchy, and he could almost taste blood in his mouth.

This is the side-effect of using my life force instead of my Mana when Guiding an Esper with a high compatibility rate with me.

In the first place, that technique only worked on natural S-Class Espers.

"I’m getting sleepy," Lee Sarang said softly while rubbing her eyes with the back of her hand. "Noh Yuno, if you dump Gayoon Oppa, come to me..."

"No way in hell would I let that happen," Ki Gayoon said angrily. "Noh Yuno is mine and mine alone."

Aigoo.

Yuno ignored Ki Gayoon’s claim, and then he focused on Lee Sarang who had already fallen asleep in her seat.

Good.

Now Yuno started to mix his Mana with his life force in order to make his Guiding more effective.

He had to do that much for a naturally awakened S-Class Esper.

However, that didn’t mean it wouldn’t take a toll on his body.

BLERGH.

"Noh Yuno!"

Of course, Ki Gayoon reacted right away when Yuno started coughing up blood.

I should have sent Hyung outside first...

"Stop it," Ki Gayoon said, kneeling down next to Yuno while grabbing his shoulders gently. "Stop guiding Lee Sarang if you don’t want to see me lose my mind here, Noh Yuno."

Aigoo.

"I’m almost done, so no need for threats," Yuno complained lightly. But when he saw pain and worry in Ki Gayoon’s eyes instead of anger, he immediately dropped Lee Sarang’s hand and stopped guiding the female Esper. "It’s done— so, don’t make that face anymore, Hyung."

IT WAS a date gone wrong, to say the least.

Yuno plopped down on the sofa as soon as he returned to his bedroom.

He washed his face, brushed his teeth, and changed his clothes to get rid of all the blood that he coughed up earlier.

Gayoon Hyung freaks out whenever I get bloody.

Speaking of his lover...

Ki Gayoon tucked the still-sleeping Lee Sarang in bed.

Yes, they left the luxury department store after almost causing a disaster.

Gayoon Hyung called Baekho Hyung-nim and his other staff members to deal with the scene they caused.

And about Song Jia...

We focused on Sarang Noona’s condition, so we didn’t see Guide Song Jia before leaving the department store.

"Is that so?" Ki Gayoon sat next to him, and then he returned the health potions in his Inventory. "Are you sure you just need to rest?"

"Yes."

"Then why are you still up? Go to bed."

"We need to talk, Hyung."

"Ah, right," Ki Gayoon said. It was obvious that he was trying to hide the fact that he was nervous— but he was failing miserably. "So, what did I do wrong?"

"Hyung carried Guide Song Jia-ssi using your telekinesis ability."

"Uh, I did. But what about it?"

Haaah.

Hyung’s nonchalance is only pissing me off even more.

"Whenever I ask you to carry me using your telekinesis power, you turn me down and call me lazy," Yuno complained. For the record, he knew that he was being really immature about it. He knew he was in the wrong. But he wanted to pick a fight with Ki Gayoon for some reason he didn’t understand. "So, why did you carry Guide Song Jia-ssi the way you wouldn’t carry me, huh?"

I know it was an emergency so Hyung had to move with urgency, but I wanted to pick a fight with my boyfriend.

"Noh Yuno, you..."

"What?"

Ki Gayoon covered his mouth with his hand to hide his silly grin. "You were actually jealous of Song Jia, after all."

Oh?

Was that why Yuno was picking a fight with Ki Gayoon "for no reason?"

Is this really what they call jealousy?
