The men surrounded them, holding baton in their hands. They stretched their fingers, cracked their palms and flexed their neck in front of the two, sending them a warning.

"They look like Banana in black Pyjamas," Shentu Chu smiled at them. He even waved at them.

"What is that?" Shentu Jing casually asked, surveying for an opening to escape.

"Didn’t you watch that kiddie program with the bananas dancing in pyjamas?"

"Fine, next time I’ll bring you one of our old CDs. I can’t believe you never watch Bananas in pyjamas,"

"Can’t you be serious? Why are you worst than Lao Xi?" Shentu Jing shook his head. With such an elder brother, it was a wonder he didn’t get a headache.

"I’m the worst there is. Accept that fact," Shentu Chu pulled his sleeves up as if he was preparing himself for a fist fight.

"Why is she here?"Shentu Chu noticed a small head peeping out from the bushes behind the men in black.

"Who is she?" Shentu Jing asked.

Shentu Chu blinked innocently. "My fiancée?"

One of the men lurched at him.

"Why did you bring your girl here? Are you crazy?" Shentu Jing kicked one of the men away until his back hit the wall.

"Aren’t you crazy as well?" Shentu Chu tripped one of them like men who came at them from behind. All at once, the men started attacking them from all sides.

Unlike Shentu Jing, Shentu Chu didn’t had fighting skills. He never trained so he had to hide behind his brother for protection, every now and then using a vase or stone to attack the enemy.

"Behind you!" Shentu Chu cried. At that second, Shentu Jing did a spinning kick and knocked out the attacker. He shot Shentu Chu a look that says, ’I know that already".

At that moment, the rustles in a particular bush attracted the attention of one men in black. He had a scar across his face, striding towards the bush.

It didn’t take him more than a second to catch the girl hiding them, gripping her wrist painfully like a claw.

"Hey! Let me go!" Qiao Nian beat at the men and cried. His grip was painfully brutal. She swore her bone was breaking at any point.

But before the man could do anything else, he was knock out by someone from behind. It was Shentu Chu, who held a large flowerpot in his hands.

"Shit!" He cursed and let the flowerpot crash onto the man.

"Ah! Shentu Chu, who are these people?!" Qiao Nian cried. The girl was so scared that she was trembling all over.

"Evil ghosts," Shentu Chu jokingly said and grabbed her wrist, pulling her towards him until she was pressed flat against his chest.

"Oh my," she gasped, her mouth forming a cute ’O’ shape.

Shentu Jing knocked down all the other men within seconds, executing martial arts on their legs and body professionally.

"Just kidding," Shentu Chu patted the girl’s small head. Then he dodged an incoming attack, slanting to the right with Qiao Nian in his arms. He attacked the man’s groin with a single kick.

Once the man was bent over and howling in pain, Shentu Chu attacked the man by knocking him out in the face.

"Close your eyes. Don’t open them until I tell you, okay?" Shentu Chu was by her side again, hands on her shoulders.

Qiao Nian nodded and then squeezed her eyes shut. This type of violence was unbearable for her.

So while Qiao Nian shut herself from the world, the two men knocked down the men in black. Shentu Jing suffered some bruises in his knuckles and arm but they managed to knock out all of them.

Back to back, they stood. Luckily for Shentu Chu, the special watch on his wrist had a stun gun which he used to zap the men. If not, he would have been beaten black and blue for his lousy martial arts skills.

"You can open your eyes now," Shentu Chu appeared in front of Qiao Nian the moment she opened her eyes.

It was as if he wanted her to see him every second, every minute and every hour.

"Who are these people?" Shentu Chu bend down and checked their clothings. He found an emblem on the inside of one of the attackers’ collar.

"Second brother, come take a look!"

Shentu Jing came over, squinting his eyes.

"Do you recognize this?" Shentu Chu caressed the emblem. He found it familiar but he couldn’t remember where he had seen it.

"The Qiao family’s logo," Shentu Jing said, the look in his eyes were cold and murderous.

Shentu Chu sighed. After all the trouble they had gone through, it felt like they had been running around in circles.

It all came back to the Qiao family. What did the Qiao family want from them?

"Do you think it could be done by Qiao Minde?" Shentu Chu talked too loudly, attracting Qiao Nian’s attention.

He looked over his shoulders where she stood. From the look on her face, he could tell that she was worried and afraid.

"Who knows. We don’t have concrete evidence to prove it. Everyone in the Qiao family used that emblem," Shentu Jing said.

"My brother would never do such a thing!" Qiao Nian blurted out.

Shentu Jing motioned with his eyes towards Qiao Nian. Shentu Chu sighed, stood up and walked over to her.

"You’re suspecting my brother, isn’t it?" She glared at him fiercely. However she wasn’t fierce enough, instead she looked cute.

Shentu Chu: "..."

"Answer me!" Qiao Nian cried. She wanted to beat up Shentu Chu at this moment but all the strength had left her body.

"I won’t jump to conclusions," was all Shentu Chu said before he pulled her along towards the exit.

"Shentu Chu, why don’t you ask Qiao Minde yourself and make things clear with him? That way, your fiancée won’t have doubts," Shentu Jing said, seemingly hinting to something.

Qiao Nian understood it immediately! They knew of her identity! Did she accidentally reveal it or what?

Shentu Chu glared at him. This second brother was throwing him into another pit.
