Cosmic Paragon-Chapter 63: Earth Pulse Fist!

Cassandra had broken an unknown number of bones, all her muscles had been

torn apart and her internal organs had been turned into paste. In the place where

the wind bomb had gone off at her chest the bones had caved in.

The Golden Crown Tyrant Black Hawk gave a resounding cry of triumph as it

overlooked the battlefield from its position high in the sky, its sharp eyes swept

over its fallen foe.

Cassandra raised her eyelids weakly and saw the Golden Crown Tyrant Black

Hawk. She wanted nothing more than to get back up and punch that stupid look

off it’s stupid face. But her body was too badly daMaged, so she couldn’t move

even though she wanted to.

’Damn it! If only I had just a bit of blood and this was night time I could definitely

kill this overgrown chicken.’ she groaned painfully.

’Fuck! I have had it with all these wind element magic beasts and their bombs.’

Drake cursed loudly and dragged himself out of a pile of rubble and broken down

building’s parts.

Drake overlooked the Battlefield and couldn’t help cursing more at how powerful

that attack was. If it wasn’t because he had teleported into a nearby building and

activated the full power of all his defensive armors at the last moment, he would

definitely have been heavily injured.

’Eye of Order’

Drake quickly activated the Libra constellation’s special ability and scanned the

whole battlefield.

Fortunately, Sylvia and the twins were safe. The same couldn’t be said about

Cassandra however. He could see just how bad the injuries she sustained were.

But even then her vampire selfhealing

ability was still doing it’ best to help her

recover. Unfortunately she had used up her magic power so it was too weak and

too slow. The most it could do was keep her alive. but it couldn’t restore her in a

short while.

’That Vampire is in sorry shape, It’s a miracle how she’s still alive after sustaining

that kind of daMage. That kind of powerful life force is like an undying flame. It is

absolutely inextinguishable."

Drake thought if it were another 3 star Mage in the same position as she was in

right now they would have already been dead after taking a direct hit from the

explosion head on. However, Cassandra wasn’t.

It could be seen just how powerful a Vampire’s vitality is.

It’s no wonder you’re always advised to cut off their heads and burn the bodies

when you kill a Vampire. Anything less and they can just get back up like it’s

nothing but cuts and bruises.

Suddenly the Golden Crown Tyrant Black Hawk had finally turned it’s attention

back to Sylvia. However, it immediately came to a realization.

It’s aura lock had been broken and she was escaping.

This was of course a result of the twins hard work. Space and Time power were

some of the most illusive powers in the elemental affinity series. It was all but

impossible for the Golden Crown Tyrant Black Hawk to lock down Space and

Time.

Thanks to the twins special domains they had been able to free Sylvia from the

Golden Crown Tyrant Black Hawk’s lock, they had immediately had her make a

run for it, while the stayed behind to see if Drake would need help to escape.

They say a person is at their most relaxed right when they are about to succeed

and it was the same with the Golden Crown Tyrant Black Hawk. The Golden

Crown Tyrant Black Hawk had been entangled with Cassandra all this time and

when it had finally gotten the chance to take her out it had been distracted so it

had failed to notice.

But it was at exactly that time that the twins had gotten Sylvia free from its aura

otherwise if they had gotten her out at any other time, the Golden Crown Tyrant

Black Hawk would have immediately discovered them.

The Golden Crown Tyrant Black Hawk saw the two humans that it did not

recognize and instantly turned its rage at Sylvia escaping on them.

Massive amounts of wind power gathered at its wings and with a powerful flap

this wave of wind energy swept forth like the angry waves of the ocean.

The Golden Crown Tyrant Black Hawk did not dare to use a sharp or an explosive

attack. That is because it was still afraid that if it used such an attack and Sylvia

was still nearby, there was a high chance she would die and her body would be

destroyed if she was caught in an explosion.

The Wind wave swept forth and smashed into the twins like tides against a rocky

shore. They felt as if they had been hit by a train and they were sent flying.

It wasn’t that they didn’t want to evade that Wind wave, but they couldn’t. That

attack covered a wide area and there was nothing close by to hide behind.

Its sharp Hawk eyes scanned the battlefield and a block away, it caught sight of

Sylvia who was running while covering her head. She had also received the minor

aftereffects of the wind wave that had reached her.

The Golden Crown Tyrant Black Hawk was instantly elated. Just as it was about

to charge forward to reclaim its prize however, there was a distortion in the space

behind its head.

Drake teleported behind the Golden Crown Tyrant Black Hawk and his sword cut

down on its neck.

The Golden Crown Tyrant Black Hawk hastily tried to draw its head back to evade

the blade that had suddenly appeared behind its neck. However, it felt like even

tough it was drawing its head back the sword was moving even faster than it

could withdraw.

CLANG!

There was a sound akin to metal colliding against metal when his sword clashed

against the feathers around the Golden Crown Tyrant Black Hawks neck.

Drake was shocked, he had expected that he would have been able to kill the

Golden Crown Tyrant Black Hawk with one slash. Who knew that his sword

would be stopped cold in its tracks merely after coming into contact with the

feathers covering its neck.

"What terrifying defensive power!"

It had to be known that Drake’s sword had been swung while using is Space and

Time powers to cover and enhance it.

Actually earlier when the Golden Crown Tyrant Black Hawk had tried to retract

its neck to evade the falling sword the reason why it had not been able to was

because Drake had activated the power of the Time domain.

This had caused the Golden Crown Tyrant Black Hawk to move at half its usual

speed while letting him move at twice his speed. Thanks to such the Golden

Crown Tyrant Black Hawk had been unable to evade his sword.

Drake had also used Space power on his sword to enhance its sharpness. Space

sword could cut through all obstacles so he had expected that as long as his

attack landed successfully he would definitely kill the Golden Crown Tyrant Black

Hawk in one blow.

But instead of cutting through it, at the last moment the power of the wind magic

power surging around the Golden Crown Tyrant Black Hawk had actually exerted

pressure on the magic power that was powering the Space sword. This caused the

Space power to be unstable and disperse so the Space sword lost its power.

Thus it had only caused a few sparks and left a white line on the Golden Crown

Tyrant Black Hawk’s metal like feathers.

It was just a result of difference in cultivation levels. If Drake was at a higher

level, his magic power would have been more concentrated enough and it would

not simply disperse after a confrontation with the Golden Crown Tyrant Black

Hawk’s Grade 3 magic beast wind energy.

The Golden Crown Tyrant Black Hawk was startled but it was enraged that this

human had suddenly appeared out6 of nowhere and he had even successfully

caused a scratch on its neck, to it this was inexcusable.

SCREEEE!

’This human must die!’ it thought.

It brandished its wings at Drake. This attack would definitely cut Drake in half if

it hit him and Drake also sensed the danger behind this attack, he quickly

teleported.

As his figure vanished from sight, the Golden Crown Tyrant Black Hawk’s wing

cut through that position with a whooshing sound.

Drake appeared again at a different spot 5 meters away from that point. When he

saw how sharp that attack was he felt a rush of fear at how fatal that attack

would have been if it had landed on him.

He thought even if he had just been lightly grazed by that attack he would

probably have suffered severe injuries that would have probably put him out of

commission for quite a while.

Drake was currently just above the back of the Golden Crown Tyrant Black Hawk.

His magic power surged through his limbs as he raised his arms above his head.

Heavy earth power was formed from the fusion of Earth and Gravity power raising

his strength, defense and attack power. He also bolstered the power of his Time

domain and his speed instantly doubled, while everything within three meters

instantly had the speed of movement halved.

The Golden Crown Tyrant Black Hawk’s magic power surged around it forcefully

weakening the effect of the Time domain but it wasn’t enough. Unless the target

could get out of the domain, the Time domain would still restore itself and the

effects of the domain would still have some effect.

The Golden Crown Tyrant Black Hawk did not have enough time to dodge and its

speed had slowed down. Drake did not hesitate he had activated the strongest

attack power he could muster and he punched down with both fists.
