Chapter 75: Demon

The training camp once again fell into chaos when Lu Nanxiao acted strange for the second time. This time, the latter became even more wilder and just directly grabbed anything that could be eaten. He would directly shove it aggressively inside his mouth and chewed it for just a few times before gulping it down directly. His mouth and cheeks are already covered with stains and oil but he doesn’t seem to mind his wrecking image in front of everyone or even in the camera.

"Nanxiao, I think you have to stop eating this much. The doctor already warned you that it’s not good for your health."

"A’Xiao, are you really okay? If you have a problem. I think you can just talk about it and maybe we can help."

Several trainees tried to persuade him but to no avail so they could only call the mentors in hope to appease Lu Nanxiao.

When Qin An and others arrived at the pantry, they also saw the mentors in front of Lu Nanxiao. Both Xu Xinyi and Pei Roujin’s face were black as the bottom of a pot while Lin Yu’s face was filled with worry about the latter while pursuing him to stop.

"Classmate Lu, you know your physical health, right? It’ll be bad for you. Doing these things will only worsen your condition. Can you stop this?" Lin Yu tried to persuade him in his usual gentle voice so as to not cause the young man’s trigger but he won’t listen and just bow his head to eat. Lu Nanxiao keeps on putting a spoon with loads of meat slices, opening his mouth widely and directly shoveling them. And to even swallow it faster, he would gulp directly on a soda can that’s already been piling beside him.

"Tsk!" It seems that Xu Xinyi couldn’t take it anymore and went to the young man. She didn’t say anything but menacingly just looking at Lu Nanxiao. However, even if it’s just a look, it seems like she’s covered with a black mist, a very dangerous intent that seems to explode in any second. Seeing this, some trainees couldn’t help but step back when a shiver went down their spine.

Xu Xinyi looks at Lu Nanxiao with contempt before she glances at everyone.

"Grab him." She demanded.

Everyone was shocked by her words. Grab him?!

"If he can’t be persuaded, then force him to stop." Looking at the mentor who’s enraged, the trainees immediately took their courage and went to Lu Nanxiao. They hold his arms and pull him away from the food.

Unfortunately, Lu Nanxiao who’s supposed to have an A+ physical attribute seems to have an infinite strength that he can’t be pulled directly away from the food. His stained face turns livid as he suddenly pushes away the trainees around him and continues to wolf down the food.

Xu Xinyi’s veins on the forehead bulge in anger. "Grab his food!" If he won’t stop, then can he still continue eating if there’s no food?!

Others quickly reacted and one by one, they grabbed Lu Nanxiao’s food so the latter couldn’t continue anymore.

Now that there’s no food in front of him anymore and the trainees would block his way to the pantry to grab more, Lu Nanxiao became silent and his expression went blank.

The atmosphere suddenly became stagnant and they looked at him nervously, sensing a creep oozing from the strange Nanxiao they once knew.

They waited for a moment but to their surprise, Lu Nanxiao didn’t do anything and just stood blankly in front of them. Seeing him really stop, everyone thought that he would later calm down and come back to his senses when Lu Nanxiao suddenly touched his head with his stained hands and screamed in pain.

The crowd’s eyes widened in horror as they watched him squat down and hug his head while screaming in pain.

The training camp went into another chaos by his sudden change and went to him anxiously.

"Classmate Lu? What is happening to you?! Are you okay?" Lin Yu’s gentlemanly finally cracked with worry and wanted to touch the young man yet to their disbelief, Lu Nanxiao slapped his hands and began pushing others away from him.

He was grunting and moaning in pain as if he was enduring an extreme feeling. His condition looked even more serious so everyone became more anxious.

Lin Yu didn’t care about his numb hands and immediately called for an emergency.

The staff arrived immediately and wanted to appease him but Lu Nanxiao rejected others coming to him. No matter how they are persuaded or even his closest friends try to comfort, he won’t accept any of them. Thus, they could only command the robots to surround him.

"Index rate of his mental pollution is almost 30%! Let everyone live in this area to avoid infection!" As soon as the doctor said those words, the trainees moved themselves away while looking very worried.

30%?! How could someone like him have that high rate of mental pollution?! As they know, even if 30% seems actually not even half of the highest rate, it’s already almost in the dangerous line especially for someone like Lu Nanxiao. They are far from the borderline. They didn’t even face a single zerg that could affect their mental health. How could it increase so much? Lu Nanxiao’s state was even stable before but he directly went to this state?!

Mental pollution can possibly increase even if you’re not in good health or emotionally unstable just like what happened to He Yan. But as they knew, apart from his group who lost, nothing happened to him. Did that give him a great impact? Everyone knew him. Lu Nanxiao is typically an optimistic young man who hardly feels negative emotions even on his hard days, otherwise his group wouldn’t be too united.

He also didn’t have any foe inside the camp, how could this happen?

Qin An looked intently at the young man inside. He was still screaming in pain and he kept on slapping his head. The original bubbly became distorted because of the redness and pain of his face.

Other than that, Qin An also saw a black mist covering him. Unlike He Yan’s who’s only head was covered, Lu Nanxiao’s full body was covered with it.

If others only saw Lu Nanxiao’s face getting distorted in pain, Qin An saw worse. He saw the ghost face overlapping on the young man. They seem to be in a fight as the ghost seems to aggressively force to control its body. Unlike what he saw in the past, the ghost didn’t have its usual pale and ghostly face, instead, its eyes gradually became red and the tiny veins on its face showed up.

Qin An’s heart skipped a beat on that view.
