Lila steps into the clearing, the air around her crackling with an ominous energy that makes the shadows shift and tremble.

Her eyes, sharp as blades, narrow as they land on Xiao Jun standing between Justine and Leo.

Justine stiffens but keeps his head high, while Leo exchanges a nervous glance with Xiao Jun.

"He helped us, we were locked up because Alpha and Ace suspected we were with you." Leo says suspicion laced in his voice, "What really happened? Why does it seem that everyone there is after you? Are you the one in the wrong?!" Leo adds asking.

"Don’t you dare ask me that question again! You have seen what Kieran and that Ace can do! Why are you suspecting me suddenly?! And how reckless are?! How could you let them know that you were the ones causing trouble in the pack! ugh!" She goes quiet for a second.

Then she adds, "We’re killing him right now because I know why he is here! He is Kieran’s and Ace’s loyal human, and there’s no way he helped you just like that, he is here to get me! And you brought him with you! Can’t you think?!" She yells her eyes glowing, claws coming out as she walks to Jun.

Xiao Jun who steps forward, to meet her. "Hey! Am more than you think I am , got it?! So don’t use that to refer to me again! Am no ones loyal whatever! Lila hesitates for a second.

"I’m here because of Kieran," Xiao Jun adds, his voice steady despite the tension in the air. "And I’m not here to trap you, if that’s what you’re thinking."

Lila arches a skeptical brow, her wolf’s power swirling faintly around her fingertips. "Oh? Then why would Kieran’s precious human be here, standing in front of me, unless it’s a ploy to take me down?" She takes a step closer, her presence pressing down on him like a storm about to break.

Justine, watching the exchange closely, steps in cautiously. "Lila, we’ve tested him. He’s telling the truth. If he wanted to trap you, he would’ve already tried something. He hates Kieran as much as we do."
