"The spaceship AI has been reset."

"Navigation data has been backed up."

"All sensors of unknown purpose have been removed."

In the freshly hijacked spaceship, Bai Fu nodded continuously as she listened to the reports from several players who were Transferring Professions to Mechanics.

Good news, after such turmoil, this spaceship was now thoroughly hers.

The spaceship from Fire Transmission House was a general model produced by a company named Interstellar Dreams, highly popular across the Edge World Star Zone due to its durability, resilience, and affordable price. One could easily find several identical spaceships at any large Star Port, untraceable after sensor removal.

Her previously piloted cargo ship, however, was different; though a hot-selling model a century ago, it had become too conspicuous today.

If it weren't for the issue of the True Spirit Pillar, Bai Fu wouldn't be in a rush to change spaceships. What's the harm in navigating the Star Sea in an old vessel?

But the potential threats from those three forces made her extra cautious.

Actually, in her view, the biggest risk wasn't the outdated spaceship from Shattered Star, but the True Spirit Pillar itself, as that was what the three forces truly desired.

She couldn't say for sure whether those three forces had any means of detecting the True Spirit Pillar's location close by (they definitely lacked long-distance capabilities, otherwise Shattered Star would have been apprehended long ago), so she planned to switch spaceships to test this, to avoid being suddenly arrested while roaming around.

During the spaceship exchange with Fire Transmission House, Bai Fu deliberately left a few players at Mining Area 3, not engaging them in battle but letting them stay there as ordinary individuals.

These players' task was to act as her eyes on Mining Area 3, observing the three forces' reactions after the signal transmitter was activated.

If those three forces showed no reaction, her next plan was to go back, find an opportunity to severely stab Fire Transmission House in the back, and hijack the spaceship again.

If the three forces rushed to Mining Area 3 after receiving the signal, she would continue observing.

First, she would see if the arriving forces would fight with Fire Transmission House. If a fight ensued, she wouldn't worry about her whereabouts being exposed since, to Fire Transmission House, she and people like Julia were blown to bits. Her only concern was whether those three forces could detect the True Spirit Pillar's location from nearby.

To verify this, Bai Fu specifically entrusted a True Spirit Pillar Fragment to a follower named "Follow Me, Fu" and placed her in an uninhabited area of Mining Area 4 during the spaceship's passage, to see if the approaching forces could locate "Follow Me, Fu."

If they couldn't, then she wouldn't have to worry about being targeted by those three forces while operating in the Star Sea, as long as she didn't foolishly pull out the True Spirit Pillar Fragment herself.

If they could locate it, she wouldn't fear either, as it would still take significant time for those forces to move from Mining Area 3 to Mining Area 4, enough time for "Follow Me, Fu" to commit suicide and respawn at the newly bound resurrection point on the new spaceship.

Speaking of which, one must mention the item binding mechanism in Stars Above.

When players die, their items have a certain probability of dropping, but this only pertains to ordinary items. Rare items, such as the True Spirit Pillar Fragments, won't drop due to behaviors like suicide. However, if NPCs snatch them while the player is alive, all the player can do is acknowledge their bad luck. This was also why Bai Fu placed "Follow Me, Fu" on Mining Area 4, not 3—to prevent robbery.

"Everything is ready; the moment any anomaly is detected, we'll immediately leave the Sea Lion Star System."

Bai Fu issued the command to everyone on the spaceship.

While checking the spaceship's navigation records, she found that Fire Transmission House's people had left traces throughout the Initial Gate Star System Group, enabling her to follow these trails to other star systems at any time.

If she still couldn't shake off those three forces in another star system, she'd just grab some Advanced Knowledge and flee back to Ancestral Origin Star.

With the Advanced Knowledge, she could complete her Transferring Professions and then train on Ancestral Origin Star for a few years to become a peak A-grade Superpower User before returning to the Sea Lion Star System. This would make her operations a lot more convenient.

Never underestimate the power of Ten-Mile Slope Sword God!

Bai Fu stared expressionlessly at the spaceship dashboard; about ten hours later, she received an urgent notice from Digging Girl.

"Fufu, Fire Transmission House is being blockaded by Stone Crystal Company!"

...

At Mining Area 3, within the temporary stronghold of Fire Transmission House.

Like riding a rollercoaster, Molten Rock's emotions soared to the peak, then plunged to the core of the earth.

The slave capturing operation had failed, all the slaves had been killed, but at least he had managed to acquire a very good-quality spaceship, so his mood was still very excited.

But just as he was flying the spaceship back to the temporary stronghold, he was utterly baffled to find that the stronghold had been destroyed, all the people left behind had been killed, all the valuable items had been taken, and even his spaceship had been hijacked.

"Fuck, who the hell did this?"

Molten Rock was about to explode in anger.

In an instant, many familiar names flashed across his mind.

He had many competitors in his line of work and had made numerous enemies along the way, so for the moment, he simply couldn't figure out which of these familiar figures had done this.
