From intercepting Beixim to rendering him immobile, Bai Fu only spent a dozen seconds, and that was because she didn't call Black Fu to join for a doubles match.

If Black Fu had joined her right away, just on the first encounter, within four to five seconds she could have delivered two complete sets of Dark Burning and Spiritual Explosion to Beixim, incidentally triggering the first explosion of Otherworldly Erosion.

Such a combo attack could deal over 2,000 points of pure Spiritual Energy damage, and even after calculating damage reduction, it would still inflict at least 1,500 or 1,600 damage on Beixim.

However, Beixim's Blood Bar was only a little over 1,400, meaning if she really had called Black Fu, one smooth small combo would have left Beixim owing her a few hundred Life Points.

Of course, Bai Fu didn't care about debts, what she cared about was that she'd have to cry and beg Beixim not to die.

If Beixim died, the Memory Fragment she deeply desired would fly away.

To avoid such a ludicrous scenario, she didn't let Black Fu make a move.

After leaving the battle location, Bai Fu secretly scattered five Little Bai Fus, letting them hide in the corners.

A minute later, a muscular brute in a heavy mechanical exoskeleton emerged, angrily scanning his surroundings.

"Where's Beixim?"

Several surviving Special Agents quickly replied, "Vice Minister Beixim was captured, taken away by someone in a black combat suit, that person was too fast, we didn't catch what they looked like."

"What a bunch of trash!" the muscle brute cursed loudly, smashing a nearby street sign with a punch, "Which way did that person go?"

"That way."

The scolded Special Agent didn't dare retort, merely pointing fearfully in the direction Bai Fu had left.

There was no helping it, when you're dealing with Shatie from the Old Republic's Ace Agent, these nobodies dare not say a word back; even if they get killed, no one would speak for them.

Shatie sneered, "Thinking of capturing someone right under my nose, dream on!"

He quickly deployed two small drones from behind and continued walking while contacting the intelligence department.

"The opponent's real motive remains unclear, I'll intercept them as soon as possible and bring Beixim back."

"Rest assured, just some coward who doesn't dare show his face, I can crush him with one hand. You just need to block the city's exit roads, leave the rest to me, send reinforcements elsewhere first."

Shatie chuckled as he stepped into a nearby alley, but before he could figure what was happening, five Little Bai Fus awaiting there explosively detonated.

Crush me with one hand?

I'll blow you to hell, damn it!

Boom!

The successive five explosions left the few surviving Special Agents and people on the other end completely dazed.

Hey, hey, are you okay?

Shatie didn't die, only his hair was blown upright in anger, resembling the enraged tiger shouted at by Nobita for his horrible singing.

I'll kill you, I'll fucking kill you!

Just then, the signal receiver on his exoskeleton signaled.

[Target Found!]

On the pop-up screen, a black figure was seen rapidly weaving through the streets.

"You're dead for sure!"

Shatie's feet exploded with force, propelling him like a cannonball up onto a skyscraper.

With his Agility boosted to 81 points, he moved so fast it was indiscernible, merely a black comet streaking across the sky.

Shatie managed to catch up with the black figure captured by his drones within a minute and a half.

He descended from the sky, shattering the concrete floor, then, with arms crossed, he sneered at the suddenly stopping black figure, "Run, why don't you run now?"

The black figure didn't speak, darting forward and throwing two hand grenades.

Shatie caught the grenades bare-handed, letting them explode in his palm, and amid the blast, he kicked forward.

The black figure reacted swiftly, teleporting five meters to the left, then drawing two guns from her waist and firing repeatedly, though the bullets merely tickled Shatie.

"Is that all you've got?"

Shatie roared, his right fist surging forth like a battering ram, but at that moment, he was surprised to see a mist appearing before him.

A Superpower blocking vision?

"What a boring trick!"

Despite his mechanical enhancements, he was still a Qigong master; for a Qigong master, locating by sound is a fundamental combat skill.

Shatie instantaneously drew two blades and, coordinating with the drones above and his exoskeleton's built-in auto-lock weaponry, launched an unrestrained brutal assault on the black figure.

It was a one-sided crushing battle.

No matter how the black figure dodged, she couldn't escape the range of Shatie's attacks.

Finally, Shatie's blade struck her right arm, the floating drones seizing the chance to fire a series of special bullets, rendering her unable to rise again.

Shatie slowly sheathed his blades, frowning slightly, "With your abilities, how did you manage to restrain Beixim in such a short time?"

The black figure sneered, "Is it not possible that it wasn't restraint, but rather he was cooperating with me in a play? Although you arrived promptly, it's too late, everything."

Shatie's face darkened, just as he was about to speak, he saw the black figure raising her hands high.

"Even as flames consume me, the truth remains eternal!"

"Let the storm come more fierce! Hahaha!"

Amidst laughter, the black figure suddenly exploded into fragments.
