Many wills that were observing the battle pulsed with many different thoughts and intentions, some changed from enemy to friendly, some felt fear, some shock, some bloomed stronger killing intent, some satisfaction, and some indifference.

Especially a crimson skeleton figure, laced with darkness, who was hidden billions of light years away. "It seems I am not qualified to be his enemy," he thought before vanishing. He had watched the battle from beginning to end and had even wanted to join at one point, but his instincts warned him, and it was a good thing he heeded them.

Another that pulsed with the aura of an innate, flashed with complex emotions before it also vanished.

And there was also a gaze lit with life, which sighed and then vanished.

At the same time, within the Ascension Realm, Apexion’s cracked crown appeared atop his path then shook slightly. Then a weak-looking Apexion, with web-like cracks over his body, materialized a reflection of the damage to his source, which was his crown.

He ignored his state and grabbed the Karmic Bunny, which was blazing brighter than ever before. It had absorbed enough karmic energy from the battle he had just woven to push his Fate Law to the 8th tier.

He closed his eyes an fall into an epiphany, and countless calculations from countless different angles flashed through his mind. Instants later, he muttered:

"I see… negative and positive karma becomes one. Blossoming into fate."

After which, the Karmic Bunny started twisting and turning, fusing negative and positive karmic energy, then birthed the concept of Fate, which took the form of a colorless, ordinary-looking bunny woven from ethereal strings.

Ding!

The bunny floated and sat atop his crown. After this, his vision suddenly shifted, and countless ethereal strings appeared around him. They shimmered and coiled as they vanished into nothingness. He subconsciously stretched out his hand, grabbed one of the strings, and his vision shifted once more.

He saw the birth of one of the Law dimensions around him this dimension came into existence when a divine being who had comprehended that same Law died.

He grabbed another string and saw the birth of another Law dimension this one was born naturally.

What he saw were the fated birth of those dimension.

He snapped out of his trance and gazed at himself. What he saw caused him to frown, as he confirmed one thing and realized something else.

One: he was fateless, as he had long suspected based on his interactions with beings at the 8th tier they never seemed to use Fate directly against him. Even in his battle just now, the hunters never tried to twist his Fate but rather the fate of the vacuum around him or the concepts of his attacks.

He was sure that if he had Fate, he would have probably died long ago.

Two: even though he was fateless, there were countless Fate strings wrapped around him. They were the things anchoring him down, preventing his complete ascent. It wasn’t the barrier above his head, no, for that barrier only stopped those still bound by their own Fate.

A 7th tier being would have to sever their Fate before crossing it, that was the key step to the 8th tier: Fate Severance.

As for who these Fate strings belonged to, he gazed downwards, tracing the source of the strings towards the countless creatures walking all three paths. Each of them had multiple strings of various qualities wrapped around him.

"How dare these creatures who I granted transcendence blocked my transcendence!"

His mind buzzed with extreme anger and killing intent. But when he thought about his future plans for them, his killing intent and anger vanished, and he muttered as he stretched out his right paw:

"Come!"

After which, the Fate Bunny vanished and appeared on his right paw, then fused with his claws. His paw then vanished.

[Sever!]

Slash!

He severed a Fate string. As he cut through it, images of a future key event for that creature flashed in his mind. Severing that string meant that the creature would never experience that event. His hand flashed again and again.

Slash! Slash! Slash!

As he sever, he made sure to leave a single Fate event the one where he was the star. One that was the climax of their life, where their life would be most meaningful.

Slash! Slash!

As he slashed, the creatures suddenly found themselves lighter, as if a mountain had been removed from their backs, and their comprehension increased slightly.

Time passed, and soon he had severed almost all the Fate strings, that bind him to the creatures. There was only one creature’s string he did not touch, and that was Alexandra’s for reasons only he knew.

The paw prints that Apexion was standing on suddenly shot upwards. The barrier didn’t stop him at all.

Whoosh!

As he ascended, he gazed around him and noticed that the Ocean of Origin was pulsing brighter than before. Soon he came to a stop. He gazed upwards at what seemed to be golden light shining down from above the Ocean of Origin.

Suddenly, his instinct told him to do something. He followed it and opened his jaws wide and,

Pull!

The Ocean of Origin started flowing inside his mouth and into his crown.

Cra-crack!

His body and crown started to crack and reform into something grander, and a few moments after,

Boom!

His body, will, and Law had truly stepped into the 8th tier, standing equal with a Grand Law. He opened his paws wide as his body started expanding and came to a stop when it reached the size of a Realm Cluster that could house millions of realms.

Shiiing!

He was now a true cosmic terror, the kind that can devour Realm Clusters, the kind that can grant true death to lower creatures. Countless Fate strings materialized around him.

Twist! Twist! Twist!

The kind that can bloom a realm into existence and partially create true life.

Boom!

An explosion echoed from his crown as a real realm, governed by his Law, bloomed inside the "A" symbol. This realm was composed of pure black flame, and inside the flame played countless rabbit-like creatures formed from black fire.

Keee! Keee!

The kind that could glance into the past and future. The strings around him started to twist as images of what happened a few years ago and what might happen a few years into the future flashed into his mind. The number of years kept rising: from a few to ten, twenty, fifty, a hundred… until suddenly a terrifying force appeared and put a stop to it.

Shing!

A true Emperor, who lords over lower beings with absolute might.

"ROAAAAAR!"

His roar echoed outwards as he took a single step upwards and engraved his true Emperor rank into existence.

At that very moment, a sound akin to an ancient bell rang out throughout the universe.

BENG!

The sound alerted many beings, who were all shocked by how fast he was progressing.

Somewhere inside the Ascension Realm, two ancient figures the size of Arch Realms sat atop coiling ethereal staircases. Suddenly, the humanoid one spoke; his voice caused the surroundings to tremble:

"He is progressing fast… far faster than us when we were ascending!"

"Yes. To think he would reach the 8th tier in less than four hundred thousand years, just in the blink of an eye… But this is also a good thing."

added the worm-like figure, pulsing with pure death and life, as he gazed down at the humanoid figure completely bound in a + position by countless ethereal chains formed from the highest tier of laws.

"Indeed." said the humanoid figure, as he also gazed down at the chained figure, a concealed glint in his shimmering golden eyes.

At the same time, somewhere in the past, an old man stood atop a barren mountain. Countless ethereal chains wrapped around his foot, binding him to the mountain. But even though he was imprisoned, his back was straight like an ancient pole. Suddenly, his eyes flashed, after which he muttered in a calm tone,

"Seeding!"

Somewhere else in the past, inside a realm made from endless ethereal strings, floated a lone throne also made from ethereal strings.

Sitting on this throne was a blindfolded female, who had an ethereal golden sword piercing through her heart and then lodged into the throne. Her hair nigh-infinite ethereal strings flowed down her back and faded into nothingness. Suddenly, one of her hair strands twitched, after which she gently tapped it.

At the literal beginning of time, where an incomprehensible singularity of chaos reigned, a will flickered with unknown intentions.

And at the end of time, where the culmination of all existence converges in absolute silence, sat a humanoid shadow laced with web-like cracks. Suddenly, an invisible, untraceable, and intangible intention birthed in its mind. This intention then vanished down the spiral of time.

Apexion gazed at the endless colorful origin ocean around him, his eyes penetrating everything across billions of light years.

’Nothing!’

he thought, as he saw no trace of another being. He retracted his gaze, then took a single step forward,

Bam!
