Lady Gayle ate to her fill, stuffing herself beyond what she normally ate to the point of having a bulging belly. When she was finished, she sighed and rubbed her belly with a satisfied look on her face.

"Now that was a really great meal. You are a very excellent chef lady Scarlet." she paid Scarlet the compliment with a graceful look on her face.

"I am the only original chef you know, others are still in training." Scarlet responded with a smile. Unless someone had more talent, access to limitless ingredients or knowledge of many recipes like her, they could never outdo her.

"I think I am ready to discuss business now." lady Gayle declared.

Esong had gone off to wash Justin’s face and he returned just in time for the business discussion.

Justin climbed onto Scarlet’s lap and she handed him the old tablet, and ear phones so that he could watch cartoons by himself for a while. Severus was also keeping himself busy with a helmet which connected him to the virtual world.

"I will not delay you any further and encroach on more of your time as I have done." Lady Gayle said.

In her mind, Scarlet heard Severus saying, "She already invited herself for lunch with us shamelessly and now she doesn’t want to encroach. Tsk, tsk, how shameless."

Ignoring his words, she smiled and nodded at lady Gayle and replied.

Lady Gayle put on a serious look on her face and her entire demeanor changed from relaxed to business woman and tigress who meant business. Whatever she wanted to discuss, she intended to come out on top.

"I am, no, we the Seven suns family want to expand our business to the Blue star. You have personally experienced what our hotel is like, what we have to offer and the caliber of guests that we host. We do not build a Seven suns in any random planet or city, we only build in the best. I have seen the plan for the Citadel gaming city, and I am very interested in it. I think I understand the vision which you have for it and I can tell that if it’s executed excellently it will be bigger than Roxon city the biggest gaming city here in the capital. You have seen the Seven suns however, we need a very large piece of land and we need a few flying vehicles to transport guests. We will also be needing a steady and assured supply of food. I would also need fresh flowers, house pets most especially those swans which are the beauty of your ponds in the castle. The Blue star policy is that companies must hire locals but the requirements for employment in the Seven suns are quite high and your people will not be able to satisfy most of them. I need to have my people there to run things as I want them and ensure that the Seven suns remains the very best. For that reason I also want to purchase some special recipes which will be specific to the Seven suns, nothing like street food which can be acquired anywhere. Oh, last but not least wine, this kind of red wine and other alcoholic beverages you can sell to me."

Scarlet had been noting down the key points as lady Gayle listed her requirements and one thing she had not heard was money.

"How much do you intend to purchase the land? I must warn you before hand that land in The Citadel is more expensive than land in the Blue city or London." she told her.

"I can already tell from the big plans you have for the city. Give me your asking price and we can start negotiations." Lady Gayle answered quite confidently.

"Ten million.." Scarlet was naming her price but another voice cut her off. It was Esong who had been silently looking at his phone all along and acting as if he had no interest in the meeting.

"Two hundred million star coins for ten acres of land." Esong beat Scarlet to the punch, boldly and loudly.

Scarlet heard the price Esong said and she turned to him, with untold depths of shock in her eyes. That was too high of a price, they would never go for it!! it was a ridiculous price.

Her surprised face turned to lady Gayle then, befuddled because the woman did not attempt to negotiate for a single moment. One dared to name a ridiculous price and one dared to accept it.

"Send your account details to me please and my people will be on the Blue star in two days to pick, survey and place landmarks on our land.

"Wait." Scarlet told her. "Not that I am complaining about your enthusiasm but our negotiation’s are still ongoing. I cannot make a decision on flying cars alone, it needs to be discussed with my ministers, officials and the citizens of the Blue star. My stand when it comes to flying cars is very clear, it’s a no go area. If I allow you to use them it will not be long before another company makes a similar request, then another will follow and another. Pretty soon the citizens will become disgruntled. They will ask questions like why can they fly but we can’t? When it comes to employment I have changed it to fifty percent. Half of your employees must be locals from the Blue star. The reason for wanting companies to move to open branches on the Blue star is for my people to get jobs. You can’t open a company and employ only foreigners, it will raise an us vs them situation among the people. You can interview them and pick the best amongst those and train them to the standard you want. It will take you at least four or five months to build a hotel of this size and magnificence so that gives you time to train the employees and mold them into what you want. If you like, you can even bring them to the capital for training this way you can watch them closely yourself."

Lady Gayle looked at Esong then Scarlet with contemplation in her eyes and she asked, "You are the governor, don’t the people simply follow your rule? If you tell them that that we will be using flying cars to transport guests then they should simply swallow all complaints and follow your leadership."

"When in Rome, do as the Romans do." Scarlet answered.

"Huh?" Lady Gayle replied.

"When in the capital, I follow the laws of the capital but when I am on the Blue star, I follow the laws of the Blue star. The same goes for you lady Gayle, I am willing to sell you a few recipes, provide raw food, alcohol and some pets which I have not done for other businesses which have opened branches on my planet. I will even throw in a promise of holding official conferences, competitions and some gaming events in the hotel when the time comes. But I hope that you will not ask me to flaunt our laws just to favor your company. You have laws for the Seven suns and you would fire any employee that breaks them. You expect the guests and employees to adhere to those rules, this hotel is your planet. I am sticking to my laws and I will understand if you need a re-think of this proposal."
