"And you know too well how protective I can be when it comes to him and his growth, right?" Eden's eyes glowed menacingly for a few seconds.

"Fine, I won't tell him anything. But don't think you can stop me from making contact with him after you let Thea make contact with him," Raiya said, crossing her arms with an equally cold expression.

"Anyway, what is happening to him now?" Raiya asked.

"Seems like he triggered an evolution… again," Eden sighed. "And I failed to anticipate this outcome..."

"Why not?" Raiya's expression became confused.

"You're the one capable of predicting everything that happens in the universe with almost a hundred percent accuracy and precision, and you failed to anticipate this?" Then her face became strange.

"Actually... considering it's him, I kind of understand why you weren't able to predict it... Even then, he's still in the earlier stages of his growth. It shouldn't be hard for you to read and predict his every move."

"Unlike the previous times, this is the first time he's begun to awaken his true nature. And since not even I know what his true nature represents or what kind of being he will become... and because of the influence of that true nature, his growth is abnormal."

"He's growing at a rate never seen before. I mean, it's only been three months since he became an Awakener, and he's already at the level where he can fight against god-king level beings of the lower plane," Eden continued.

"That's strong already?... that's frightening," Raiya muttered with a shocked expression.

Then her shock turned into a grin, as if she was satisfied to hear this. "This is great. This means everything is going according to plan..."

"I've used all the information I've collected on him through the system and calculated the rate of his ever-changing growth, his constantly growing potential, and the effects of his presence on the universe, thousands of times. And every time, the results are greater than the last," Eden continued.

"I don't even do it anymore, because his potential isn't static like other beings. It changes every single second, growing continuously as if it has no end..."

Raiya watched as Eden's figure released an intense aura without her realizing it, responding to her hidden emotions.

Raiya could see the flickering light in Eden's red eyes.

"You're enjoying this, aren't you?" Raiya asked.

"Of course... this is my job. I love doing my job," Eden replied in an expressionless tone.

"Oh no, that's not it... You just love watching him and everything he does. It must be amazing to have the ability to watch him all the time, right?" Raiya said, smiling.

"It's not something I enjoy. It's something I have to do for the sake of the universe. It's essential that his growth isn't interrupted, and I have to make sure it," Eden said, narrowing her eyes.

"Fufu, come on now. You can be honest with me, Eden. I'm not like the others, I know you. Just admit it: you love watching him. I can see it in your eyes how much you've changed, and I know he's the reason. Because you realized that once he reaches his true form, he'll be back home, with you," Raiya said.

Eden's expression didn't change a single bit, but Raiya knew she was hitting the spot accurately.

"...."

Eden didn't respond, neither agreeing nor denying the claim.

"Well, be silent all you want, Eden. But I know, once he completely regains his former power and learns the truth about his existence, you'll go jumping into his arms," Raiya said.

"Can you stop?" Eden asked, her expression showing clear annoyance.

That was Raiya's cue that she shouldn't provoke Eden any further.

Not even she knew what Eden would do when angry.

"Fine... continue what you were saying," Raiya said, trying to divert the conversation.

"..." Eden glared at Raiya for a few seconds before continuing.

"As a result of his rapid growth, subsequently becoming the Progenitor of Humans and turning billions of beings into [Superior Humans], his karma level is rising rapidly like a hurricane. As a result, the receding karma of the universe has started to shift," Eden explained.

"I'm sure, as a World Tree, you can sense it too, right?"

"Yes... I was wondering where it came from. I thought the universe was going back to its original state, but then again, that can't be possible, our universe isn't like others. Unless something special and unique occurs, we are hopeless," Raiya said, before turning her attention to the person hundreds of kilometers away, at the center of where the domain of the Blood of the Night King used to be.

"I guess he was that special and unique thing..." Then her eyes widened.

"Wait, I should've been able to sense him long before now. Why didn't I? I mean, I have a special connection with him, right? Or did you do something to that connection as well?"

"Of course I did. Because I knew the instant you and your sisters sensed him, you'd run off to him, and I can't have that happen. It would disrupt his growth," Eden said, shrugging her shoulders.

"Also, up until three months ago, I didn't even know his soul had already developed a physical body on its own, and for some reason, the system refused to tell me about it... Anyway, once I verified that it was him in a mere human body, I've been doing my job diligently, making sure he comes across the best types and forms of resources that would be most optimal for his development."

"...I would have been very mad that you hid him from me, but I can understand why it's important to keep his existence a secret from all the higher existences and beings..." Raiya sighed.

"With the entire universe on the path of death, it's good that you did what you did..."

Eden looked at her, surprised.

"Why are you making that weird face?" Raiya asked, taking a step back.

"Well... it's just that I've talked to the remaining five World Trees before you. Usually, not one of you would be understanding of anything I do."

"But strangely, all of you have been very understanding, usually there'd be shouting, screaming, blaming, and harsh words with ugly insults. But you guys were very professional and understanding," Eden replied.

"Well, it's because with everything going on, all of us are facing the real END... We can't act like assholes now," Raiya said, shrugging her shoulders.

"I know... but I kind of miss the shouting, screaming, blaming, and ugly words..." Eden replied.

"So... I'm the last to be learning about him?" Raiya asked with an intense expression.

"Here we go again... You just happened to be the last, that's all."

...

Back in the place where the domain created by the blood of the Night King used to be, Damian stood as the pure purple aura surrounding him had completely transformed into a blood-red aura.

It grew stronger and stronger before releasing some sort of visible waves of energy that didn't cause any damage or seem harmful, but the waves traveled across thousands of kilometers in all directions.

The vampires who felt this had their eyes widened as they sensed something foreign and familiar at the same time.

"Interesting," Eden muttered, feeling the wave of energy that had just passed through her and swept across the entire world.

"Is that… what I think it is?" Raiya asked, who also understood the meaning behind these waves of energy.

"It is… Just how much potential does he possess? It's only been a few days since he evolved into the Progenitor of Humans… and he's evolving again," Eden replied, sighing, realizing that no matter how much she studied Damian's existence, she could never fully understand him.

Back to Damian, he seemed to be in some sort of unresponsive state, unaware of what was happening around him.

It was similar to the state he was in when he evolved into the Progenitor of Humans.

But this time, it was different.

This time, he could feel what was happening to him.

It was as if his mind had adapted and grown so strong that it could stay awake during an extreme evolution process without being harmed or hurt.

Suddenly, the blood-red aura around him started to grow thicker and thicker, and within a few minutes, his entire skin seemed to turn into stone, a blood-red stone, as if a large quantity of blood had cooled off, freezing him inside a layer of blood.

Like a statue, Damian wasn't moving or showing any sign of life.

Then, suddenly, all the aura energy that had been released from Damian and had covered the entire territory like a fog started to move, as if being manipulated.

In the next few seconds, everything went back into Damian, and then his aura, his presence, everything vanished.

Damian's eyes lost the vitality they used to have.

The blood coursing through his veins stopped before turning cold.

Then his consciousness vanished, followed by his thought process, and finally, his rapidly beating heart stopped.

Damian was dead.
