Chapter 38 - End Of Storm

In front of Prince Wei stood Wei, Ryu, Jin, Tony, and Prince Ryu—and behind them, an army of black-colored creatures and dragons.

The whole army moved to attack Prince Wei, but he stepped between them like a phantom, easily dodging every strike with supernatural grace. With a swift flurry of precise slashes and strikes, he cut through the creatures like they were made of dust, their bodies collapsing before they even registered the blow.

Dragons descended from the skies, roaring and charging at Prince Wei from all directions. But Prince Wei only smirked. In a split second, he leaped upward, slicing through the air, and dismantled the dragons mid-flight, his blade becoming a streak of dark light as each creature fell one after another, thunderously crashing to the earth.

Wei continued summoning more of the army, his hands glowing with ominous dark energy. He raised them toward the sky, and more black creatures emerged from dimensional rifts, flooding the battlefield.

Prince Wei's eyes narrowed as he effortlessly fought through the endless wave of enemies. He looked toward Wei.

"So you are the one who is summoning them," Prince Wei said while fighting the army, his voice calm but filled with knowing.

Without slowing, he began moving toward Wei, slashing and weaving through the swarm like a storm, his blade never faltering.

Tony's eyes widened, understanding Prince Wei's intent.

"He is coming to Wei. Cover him," Tony commanded.

Everyone sprang into action, stepping into position.

Prince Ryu hurled electric bursts at Prince Wei, but he twisted and sidestepped them with inhuman reflexes. Jin teleported directly in front of him, swinging a punch, but Prince Wei leaned back just in time and slid past him, unwavering.

Ryu and Tony lunged together to intercept. Prince Wei, with blinding speed, moved between them and sliced them from the middle, his sword cutting a clean arc. But both Ryu and Tony's bodies shimmered, healing instantly with glowing auras. They caught Prince Wei mid-air and, with a synchronized motion, threw him backward into the middle of the incoming army.

Prince Wei struck the ground hard. Before he could rise, the summoned army swarmed over him, their weapons and claws raining down mercilessly. One even managed to slice off his arm.

"Did we do it?" Ryu asked, panting slightly.

"I guess we did," Prince Ryu replied, still catching his breath.

"I don't think so," Wei said with a grim tone.

Suddenly, a black energy wave exploded from Prince Wei's body, eradicating the entire army in a flash. The shockwave slammed into everyone—Prince Ryu, Ryu, Tony, Jin, and Wei—sending them all to the ground.

Prince Wei stood tall once more. His wounds vanished, his severed arm regenerated, and the remnants of his fallen army coiled into him, their power now his.

Wei attempted to summon more creatures again, but Prince Wei, wasting no time, dashed like a phantom blur, reaching Wei in a heartbeat and slicing his neck.

Prince Wei tried to absorb Wei's energy—but it didn't work.

"Why can't I absorb his energy? It doesn't matter. I can take their energy," Prince Wei said, pointing his sword toward Prince Ryu and the others.

He walked toward the downed Prince Ryu. Prince Ryu raised a hand and fired another electric burst, but Prince Wei dodged with ease.

Just as he was about to reach Prince Ryu, Jin teleported behind him and launched a punch. Prince Wei anticipated it and deflected it with a twist, throwing Jin away effortlessly.

"You're next," Prince Wei said, pointing his sword toward Jin.

"You are not done with me yet," came a deep, ominous voice from behind.

Prince Wei turned. A black-skinned, red-eyed humanoid being stood before him—Wei transformed.

"Who are you now?" Prince Wei asked, puzzled.

"You can call me, Prince of Death," Wei answered.

Prince Wei glanced at the spot where Wei had fallen. It was empty. He now understood.

"So you are the Prince of the Death Dimension. Where are your parents? Are they dead? I wonder who killed them... Oh, that was me," Prince Wei mocked.

"You are going to regret that," Wei growled in fury. He summoned a black-colored sword, jagged and pulsating with dark energy.

"Bring it on," Prince Wei said, raising his blade.

Wei rushed forward and aimed a slice at Prince Wei's neck, but Prince Wei tilted back and evaded. He teleported behind Wei and attempted a kick, but Wei spun away, avoiding the blow.

Wei thrust his hand forward, summoning a Dragon beneath Prince Wei. The beast emerged from below, launching him into the sky. As Prince Wei flew upward, Jin teleported mid-air and kicked him down. Prince Ryu unleashed an electric burst, slamming him further.

Ryu and Tony lunged again, delivering a synchronized mid-air kick that sent Prince Wei hurtling toward the ground.

He landed hard but rolled to his feet. His fist began to glow—a blinding white light radiating from it.

"HE IS ABOUT TO DESTROY DIMENSION," Wei shouted.

Jin acted instantly, teleporting to strike, but as he reached Prince Wei, a forcefield ignited, hurling Jin back.

Prince Wei punched the ground. The land split beneath them, tremors quaking through the dimension. Wei looked up. The sun was disappearing, its light swallowed.

From afar, Kai stood watching, his body flickering.

"I have to help them," Kai said, his arms glitching.

He stood and tried to summon his wings. Only one appeared—the other was severed.

"I have to help them. I HAVE TO HELP THEM," Kai roared.

His determination ignited something inside him. Suddenly, his missing wing regenerated.

"He loves to absorb, then I'll make him absorb," Kai muttered.

Without hesitation, Kai flew straight at Prince Wei. As Prince Wei opened a portal to escape, Kai dove like a missile, kicking Prince Wei away. The forcefield protecting him shattered.

"You are dying. Why won't you just give up?" Prince Wei said, furious, glancing at his damaged arms.

He moved as fast as lightning, striking at Kai, but Kai, now more agile than ever, dodged with precision. Wei joined in the attack. Jin teleported beside them, and together, Jin and Kai assaulted Prince Wei from all sides, forcing him to defend himself with desperation.

Wei summoned dragons that flew across the battlefield, aiding the people of the Royal Dimension by keeping them away from the vanishing terrain.

In rage, Prince Wei unleashed a massive energy blast, sending everyone flying. The portal behind him shattered.

"Wei, can you restore the dimension?" Kai asked, his breath ragged.

"Yes, but we have to defeat him first, or else he will not let me do it," Wei replied.

"Leave him to me," Kai said. His body flickered entirely now—glitching.

"Kai, your whole body is glitching. I can save you," Wei said.

"No, focus on restoring the dimension," Kai said.

"I need more energy," Prince Wei growled.

He raised his arms and began absorbing the energy of his fallen monster army.

The moment he started absorbing, Kai thrust himself forward, entering Prince Wei's body.

Prince Wei's form convulsed. He began to scream, unable to withstand the unstable energy of a person existing between life and death.

Suddenly, the fusion broke. Kai and Prince Wei separated. Ju-won—the one who had been controlling Prince Wei—was expelled. He fell to the ground, powerless.

Prince Ryu stepped forward and, without hesitation, killed Ju-won.

Wei stepped up, holding the last Sevpon. He focused, channeling his power through it.

Using the enhanced Sevpon, he restored the entire dimension, its skies clearing and lands reforming in waves of light.

Kai lay on the ground, fading.

Prince Wei stood shakily.

"I know what I have done," Prince Wei said, his voice hollow.

"Prince, you are okay," Prince Ryu said.

"Yes, but I have to go now," Prince Wei said, opening a portal.

He turned to Wei.

"Help me enter the portal."

Wei supported him.

"I have to die in the time I died before," Prince Wei whispered to Wei.

Without another word, Prince Wei entered the portal—and died on the other side.

Wei knew it but kept it to himself, sparing the others' hearts.

"Kai, Kai, wake up," Ryu called out.

Wei wiped a tear and ran to Kai. He used his power, turning Kai into a creature to stabilize him. Kai fell unconscious.

Wei then unmerged the Black Fire from the other five Sevpons, collecting them into a bag.

After five hours, Kai awoke in bed. The others were outside helping rebuild the shattered city. Ryu and Tony had reverted to human form, and Wei had too.

Wei entered as Kai opened his eyes.

"Just on time," Wei said.

"I see you also turned me into the creature," Kai said.

"Yes. Now it's time to turn you back to human. All of your body has now regenerated," Wei said.

Wei used the last Sevpon and reverted Kai to human form.

Later, Wei approached a portal. Darnyx stood waiting.

"Shal niral zarek vorel, Raevin?" (Shall we go now, Prince?) Darnyx asked.

"Neas zarnel neas'len shael'shensil drai Noctherion, zanir neas'len shael'shensil esar velar drai Veonartherion. Neas shal yuneth vul neas'len shael'shensil, nual vorel mor'es vel'karos drai Noctherion, neas zarek," Wei replied.

(I have lost my real family in the Death Dimension, but my other family is in the Dimension of Life. I will live with my family, and now, if something happens to the Death Dimension, I will return.)

"Zae'thor, Raevin. Zanir niral shal ven'valar zae zarek'dral," Darnyx said.

(As you wish, Prince. But we will wait for you to return.)

Darnyx and the Death Dimension army stepped through the portal.

Wei turned and rejoined the others.

They reached the wildlands and stood before a glowing gate.

"Will we meet again?" Prince Ryu asked Jin and Ryu.

"Sure we will," Ryu replied.

"Thank you for everything," Prince Ryu said.

"You saved me a lot of times. I should thank you," Jin responded.

Wei stepped forward and cast a spell. The gate glowed bright.

"We should go now," Kai said.

G Tony emerged from the portal.

"Hey brother, are you okay?" G Tony asked.

"Yes, I am okay, but I can't say it for the city," Prince Ryu replied.

"What happened to the city?" G Tony asked.

"Nothing, just a few buildings have been destroyed," Tony answered.

"We should leave now," Wei said.

"Alright. Goodbye," Ryu said.

Jin, Tony, Ryu, Kai, and Wei entered the portal and returned to their dimension.

As they emerged, they saw they were inside the Ex Agency in the Dimension of Life.

Wei handed the BlackFire and five Sevpons to Master Feng for safekeeping—but kept the last Sevpon, the Mask.
