The rise of the pervert primordial-Chapter 684: The fight for the main distortion (part 12)
To understand why was a silver star coming towards Alexandra, we must go back in time a couple of moments, to the moment where the three Blazeheart elders reached the area where Mariana and the three early-stage elders from the Mountain Amber family were fighting the silver-haired girl with the spear.
Naturally after seeing the vice-leader from the enemy team leaving, Camila didn't miss the chance to push through their formation.
"Copper Crusher!", this time the silver-haired girl used her pretty left fist which was cladded in a dark copper colored light to attack the mountain-like wall created by the three early-stage elders sticking together.
"Silver Piercing", of course, Mariana aimed to use that chance to crush the treasure girl's head with her Warhammer, but was met with a silver-golden spear glowing in a blinding silver light.
"Clang!".
"Booom!".
The collision between spirit treasures came first, producing a metal against metal sound, while a huge shockwave followed when Camila's fist impacted the mountain defensive wall, making the giant thing shake while cracks opened on its surface.
"Damn it!", the three early stage elders felt the pressure caused by the silver-haired girl's fist and they were forced to inject spirit energy to stop the deterioration of their defense, it wasn't going to collapse just due to that punch, but if a breach opened, that terrifying spear might pierce through it to then rip their limbs apart just like it happened to the elder that was now using a though temporary, still prosthetic arm.
"Mountain Crushing Hammer!", since she was left alone for a split of a second, Mariana who had to make up for the momentaneous gap in their formation, injected spirit energy into her spirit weapon to then swing it at Camila's side.
"Radiant Step", to Mariana's surprise, the enemy didn't take her attack head on and instead flashed away from her previous position, to appear a couple of hundreds of meters away.
The answer to Mariana's confusion, came a second later when a rain of flames flew by the area where Camila was a second ago, the silver-haired girl didn't dodge the head on confrontation against the Warhammer, she simply avoided being besieged by both the rain of fire and the hammer's attack, which was going to be followed by sword slashes of the other two Blazeheart elders.
"Weren't the Mountain Amber elders supposed to restrain her, we wasted spirit energy for nothing", said the elder that shot that rain of fire, to which Mariana snorted in response.
"Perhaps if you three idiots would have shared your plan with me, also, that light gray-haired woman must have warned her that you had gathered spirit energy in order to attack her, before", she said while thinking.
'They used a half-baked soul technique to keep their presences hidden from everyone instead of only from the enemies and then blame it on a non-soul cultivator for not knowing, idiots'.
When the leading Blazeheart elder said that they focused their soul path to support their flame and attribute manipulation, he didn't mean that they were completely useless in other aspects of the soul.
The Blazeheart are still a force that originates on a high ranked Stellar System after all, though the are second tier by themselves, the problem is that since they put so much focus on a single aspect, their abilities on others are… trashy.
And so, when those three elders hid their presences with a soul technique, they also hid themselves from Mariana, and they even bother to tell her that she should restrain Camila so that they could attack her, because they assumed she was going to do so anyway.
Perhaps it would have happened if Mariana didn't have to fill in for the empty position left behind by her vice-leader going to support the Blazeheart, it was a combination of poor skills and bad communication between two groups that are not used to work together.
Well, there was also the fact that Mariana refused to believe that the silver-haired girl's senses bested hers to the point that she could notice those three who had purposedly kept a large distance in order to ambush the enemy, while being only an early-stage Earth Origin in the soul path.
But that was exactly the case, what's more, Camila didn't even need to use soul enhanced spirit sense, trying to ambush the treasure girl was as hard as trying to ambush the energy constitution mother in other words Felicia.
Because similar to how Felicia was especially sensible towards spirit energy, meaning that it was really hard for her to miss anything that had spirit energy, like cultivators for example within a certain range of course, Camila could feel, see and notice the aura of any treasures in the vicinity.
So, trying to ambush them was a fruitless effort, of course there was a limit, but those that could hide from them, wouldn't have the need to since they would be able to defeat them head on, due to the high gap that there would need to be present in their cultivation realms.
That being said, there was another exception and that was practically the only "weakness" in their special detection methods, and that was if the enemy was fast enough to get to them before they could react, like Aster who uses this to tease the poor treasure girl from time to time, it's harder with Felicia because she has a relatively high soul cultivation so her reaction speed and parallel thinking doesn't lose to Aster's.
Amusingly enough, that's one of the non-serious reasons as to why Camila chose the soul path as her secondary one, anyway, with the elders from the Blazeheart family joining the fight, Mariana reorganized the formation.
'You three, hide behind the mountain protection wall and provide suppressive fire while I fight with her head on, don't use those half-assed soul techniques of yours, instead gather spirit energy for a strong attack, be ready to fire at my signal', she said.
The three elders didn't like the bossy tone on Mariana's voice, but they were more than happy to know that they didn't have to be on the first line, after all they saw that one of the Mountain Amber elders was now missing an arm and he for sure had a tougher body than them.
After all, though the Blazeheart had the body path as their main, they didn't focus on defense but strength, especially on the arms to empower their swordsmanship, so the elder from the Mountain Amber had a harder to wound body than them, despite him being a main energy path cultivator, such was the power of their lineage ability.
'Understood', said the three elders in unison as they radiated purple flames with an orange borders out of their bodies, Mariana on the other hand took a deep breath to then explode in dark brown spirit energy.
"Mountain Armor", with a couple of words, her skin gained a dark brown color with a tinge of amber, it was only a slight difference in tone and yet the aura atmosphere around Mariana was way different when compared to her teammates, including the other peak stage elder.
And that wasn't all, the outer pressure caused by the enemy's seas of knowledge that Camila had dispelled by deploying the golden colored spirit energy to her release, returned, it was barely noticeable since it was only caused by Mariana but it was there.
That was the reason as to why Mariana was the leader of the team, despite she not having a higher realm than the other peak stage elder, her lineage bloodline was purer and a bit more concentrated than the one of the others.
"Now, let's try this again… Landslide!", with a loud shout, Mariana disappeared from her previous position appearing in front of Camila a second later.
"Mountain Crushing Hammer!", her Warhammer exploded in dark brown spirit energy to then aim to crush Camila's right side, but that wasn't all.
"Mountain Crushing Fist!", Mariana's left hand which was free, formed a fist with which she punched at Camila's face.
"You use both your spirit treasure and your body to fight right, then let's see which one is better!", exclaimed Mariana to which Camila snorted as she answered in kind.
"Silver Piercing!".

Spear against Warhammer and fist against fist, the result of the silver-haired Camila clashing head on against the dark brown skinned Mariana was… a thunder-like explosion.
"Crack!", Mariana's dark brown spirit energy covered half of the area of collision, the half on Camila's side to be more accurate, while Camila's copper-silver toned spirit energy attacked Mariana instead, their energies clashing actually caused a small crack to appear on the space.
"Booom!", the standoff lasted for a couple of seconds before the winner was decided, the clash of energies ended with Camila being forced backwards, which broke the balance between the two opposing powers, resulting in an explosion that engulfed both of the participants.
Naturally, such a thing wasn't enough to really harm those two, so a second later Mariana whose body was covered in that dark brown layer came out from the left side of the ongoing explosion while Camila whose body was radiating a pretty mix of copper and silver spirit energy, came out of the right side of the explosion.
"Fire Wave!", however what welcomed the treasure girl was a giant tsunami of purple flames with orange borders that was created by two of the three Blazeheart elders, while the third one kept gathering spirit energy.
"Humph, weaklings stay out of this!", the treasure girl softly snorted before her spear exploded in a blinding silver light.
"Silver Star Rain", with a thrust of Camila's spear, the silver-colored spirit energy that had gathered on the spear's head exploded, turning into a wide area dazzling rain of silver streams that clashed head on against the incoming fire tsunami, instantly piercing countless holes into it, which resulted in the tsunami being instantly annihilated.
And that wasn't all, the elder who had peeked out of the mountain wall shield, was forced to retreat behind of it, as the star rain reached his vicinity, resulting in continuous explosions and clinking sounds being produced.
The three early-stage elders gritted their teeth, the attack seemed to have no end and with each silver light stream that impacted their defenses, a piece of rock was torn away by the impact, the frontal part of the mountain was actually peeled away by the star rain.
"Hoh?", far from Camila and Alexandra's battlefield, Aster couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the technique that the treasure girl had just used.
'That was the "propagation" property she had integrated into her natal treasure, she changed it to a much more metal attributed spirit technique, I wonder what will happen when she manages to refine that Immortal grade lightning resource from back then', he thought.
Though the resource she got from the auction was a tree, it had lightning properties and Camila is a metal attributed cultivator, so the synergy that it will have with her, will be something amazing to see, on the other hand, it's not as if there isn't a certain lightning attributed motherly woman in the family, in fact she is floating not too far away from him.
'Mm, I guess I'll have to organize a "playdate" for our cute treasure girl to get closer with her new sisters later, but for now I'm looking forward to see the result of the two most compatible girls of the family teaming together', amusingly thought Aster.
Back to the fight, while the elder that attacked Camila pathetically retreated behind the shield to wait until the silver-haired girl's attack finished, which by the way seemed to take way too long for both that guy and the three early-stage Mountain Amber elders, Mariana smirked.
'It was supposed to be the other way around, but it seems like even fools have their use', she thought to then place her hands together as if to pray, which made Camila's pretty silver eyebrows furrow on the spot.
The pressure that the seas of knowledge of the Mountain Amber elders were applying on her, suddenly multiplied by around ten times, it wasn't a permanent thing though and the treasure girl knew it, because it was being caused by the spirit technique that Mariana was about to use.
"Suppressing Mountain Fall!", the air above Camila trembled as a three hundred meter tall, mountain manifested out of nowhere to then descend upon the silver-haired girl who was rendered immobile by the sudden pressure raining down on her.
"How do you like it, the execution method used to kill those who dare to slander the name of the Mountain Amber family!", exclaimed Mariana, to which Camila mockingly said.
"It looks brittle".
"What did you say!", in response to the silver-haired girl's mockery, Mariana injected more spirit energy, accelerating the descend of the giant mountain.
"At least compared to this…", Camila looked upwards as she mumbled the previous, her pretty silvery hair started glowing and the pressure that was weighing the treasure girl down.
"Silver Moon Spear", silver spirit energy poured out of Camila like a tsunami, a silvery like was formed in a fraction of a second, it was a combination of the treasure girl's spirit energy and some drops of the silver liquid, out of which a giant one-hundred-meter sized silver spear emerged.
Camila jumped onto the spear which then soared high into the sky, meeting with the descending mountain in the middle.
"Boooom!", the giant mountain and the giant spear produced a monumental energy clash the moment they made contact, sparks flew in every direction while the spirit techniques tried to destroy each other.
One would be inclined to believe that both were in equal standing, however Mariana knew the truth… her technique was going to lose.
"Damn it, what the hell are you bastards waiting for, blast her into smithereens already!", she shouted to the Blazeheart elders who had been gathering spirit energy all this time, also in case you wonder why the three early-stage elders from the Mountain Amber weren't "helping", they actually were doing it, until not too long ago at least.
The pressure that though shortly, restrained Camila, was produced by them injecting spirit energy into their seas of knowledge, this while maintaining the mountain wall, so when Camila broke through their pressures with her silver spirit energy, they took backslash in the form of vomiting blood, luckily they managed to somewhat patch themselves using the regeneration capacity of their innate ability, but needed some time to catch their breath so right now, they were just static pillars for the mountain wall.
"Blazing Glory!", the two elders that had gathered enough spirit energy to improve their fire attribute to the next level, turning the orange border into a light blue toned one, to then point their hands towards the ongoing clash between the giant mountain and the giant silver spear.
"Blazing Sun!", those two created two spheres of flames and then threw them at Camila who was standing on top of the giant silver spear, very much to Mariana's relief, at least until she saw a slight smile appear on the silver-haired girl's pretty pace.
"Silver Starry Sky", the moment the two suns reached the silver spear, the latter actually turned into a field of silver light particles so the attacks on which the two Blazeheart elders, didn't hit anything.
"Wanting to escape, dream on!", shouted the Blazeheart elders as they closed their fists, making the fire spheres explode, however they weren't the only ones, all the silver light particles that were floating in the sky started burning in a blinding silver light.
"Boooom!", a sky shattering explosion echoed through the sky, as the fire spheres from the Blazeheart elders exploded just to be met with the silver explosion caused by the silver starry sky created by Camila.
"Idiots… blegh!", Mariana whose spirit technique was caught in the middle of both explosions, vomited blood as she retreated behind the mountain wall in order to not get caught in the explosion.
The blood that was forced out of her mouth was because the giant mountain was destroyed by Camila's silvery starry sky, why did she not dispel it, well, that was the fault of the Blazeheart elders, their flames forced Mariana to retreat and she couldn't dispel her technique in time before Camila smashed it into debris, so she was forced to take the backslash.
…
And now we go back to the scene witnessed by Alexandra, which was a silver star coming her way.
'Is she… no, if I remember correctly her lineage is related to that pervert's one in some way, so her defense should be on the high side', thought the light gray-haired girl to focus on the two purple-blue suns coming her way.
Alexandra placed her hand on her chest, right above where her heart is positioned to be more accurate, to retrieve her main black heavenly gold piece, which had taken a rhomboid shape after the recent daily training that she had been doing thanks to Aster.
"Devour", with a couple of words, the main black heavenly gold plaque flew from Alexandra's hand all the way towards the incoming attacks, to then separate in four pieces that then expanded to a size of sixty meters each.
Each side positioned in a different direction around the fire attacks, forming an invisible square to then… join back while suppressing the attacks from the Blazeheart elders in the process, until the main black gold heavenly plaque had returned to its small size to then be retrieved by Alexandra.
"So that's the new technique you have been working on in secret?", asked a curious voice that came out of the silver star that just landed next to Alexandra.
The light gray-haired girl gazed at Camila who was completely unscathed, she has been paying attention to her teammate's fight all this time, not because she believes Camila is weak.
Heck, after she got to know about Aster's invincibility, she wouldn't believe that anyone that shared the slightest relation to his lineage and was on the dragon youth's side, could be let alone weak but even normal.
Alexandra was paying attention to Camila, because she is the one with the role of defending in the team and despite this being her first time fighting as a team, she wanted to perfectly fulfill her role.
The Blazeheart elders who were momentarily in shock at the fact that their attacks simply vanished just like that, were returned to the real world by Camila's appearance.
"D-Don't tell me she killed the guys from the Mountain Amber…", mumbled the vice-leader of the Blazeheart group, only for the Mountain Amber vice-leader to lash out at him.
"Nonsense, elder Mariana has a lineage purity and concentration, enough to aim for the status of direct descendant elder once she reaches the Genesis Manifestation realm, no matter how strong that woman's spear is, she couldn't have killed her in such a short period of time!", he roared.
And for a change, the enemies were right, Mariana and the other elders just entered the picture, they weren't in the pristine state in which Camila was, though.
The Blazeheart elders had half of their faces swollen, while the early-stage elders from the Mountain Amber had black ash stains on their faces, the explanation for the first is quite funny, Mariana beat them up for their screw up, as for the second, it was the result of those three blocking the storm of fire that rained down in the vicinity due to the collide of the spirit techniques.
And so, the two parties were once back together, something that was witnessed by the Ocean Aquamarine and the Supreme Elemental sect elders that were surrounding Sarina and Aster.
The elders from the Ocean Aquamarine looked specially angered, due to the state in which the guys from their allied main Fey family branch, were.
"I'm pretty sure you guys have heard about the dilemma of the spear and the shield right, it's a classic example used by a lot of scholars that preach about the depths of cultivation and whatnot, but, have you ever wondered what would happen if instead of making an unstoppable spear and an impenetrable shield clash against each other, work with each other", jokingly said Aster with a smirk, which made those elders have a bad premonition, which was intensified by Aster's next words.
"The answer is actually quite simple, they… will be invincible".
