Chapter 225: Chapter 225 Breakthrough(1)_1

"Yeah, I definitely have to try it in the next couple of days."

Situ Xin felt that this spatial upgrade surely wasn’t so simple. "Baibai, let’s go ahead and see what other changes there are in the space," she said, holding Baibai and slowly walking toward the mountain.

Situ Xin didn’t choose to teleport, instead opting to walk, just in case she missed any changes in the space.

When Situ Xin, carrying Baibai, reached the foot of the mountain, she saw a piece of land that had been fenced off. There were also several small buildings within the enclosed area. Situ Xin walked closer and asked with uncertainty, "Baibai, is this a ranch?"

"It seems, it probably is," Baibai replied uncertainly, looking at the fenced-off area.

As Situ Xin moved in for a closer look, ready to observe the situation inside, her Jade Token showed a description of the place the moment her hand touched the railing.

It was indeed a small ranch. The smallest buildings were for raising chickens, ducks, and smaller animals, while the larger buildings were for cattle, sheep, and bigger animals.

Seeing the words on the Jade Token, Situ Xin said to Baibai, "It really is a ranch."

"Really? It’s actually a ranch? Does that mean we can raise chickens, ducks, and some pigs? I can finally eat meat," Baibai said excitedly. Previously, Situ Xin only planted fruits and vegetables in the space, without raising any poultry, so the meat they ate at home was bought from outside.

And Baibai was picky, not taking any fancy to the chicken and pork from outside, which meant after awakening, it had been on a vegetarian diet. This probably made it the only vegetarian tiger in the world.

No wonder, upon hearing that it would get meat soon, the little guy immediately perked up with joy.

"Baibai, I don’t think I have said we’re raising anything, are you getting happy too early?" Situ Xin, unable to see Baibai so happy, teasingly said.

Upon hearing Situ Xin’s words, Baibai immediately put away its earlier joy and began to act pitifully, looking at Situ Xin with a look that clearly said, if you don’t agree to raise poultry, I’ll cry for you to see.

Seeing Baibai look so cute, Situ Xin couldn’t help but laugh, "I’m defeated by you. Alright, do I agree now?" She was just teasing Baibai; how could she possibly leave the ranch idle?

Besides, both Old Master Situ and Old Master Loo at home, along with the other men, were all meat lovers. If the taste of fruits and vegetables from the space was so much better than those outside, the poultry raised in the space definitely wouldn’t be inferior.

Baibai’s expression immediately switched from gloomy to sunny when it received Situ Xin’s affirmation. It jumped into her arms and rubbed vigorously: "Yay, you’re the best, Master!"

After checking out the ranch, Situ Xin’s gaze shifted to the left of the ranch, and she discovered a sealed room on its outskirts. "What’s this now?" Situ Xin really couldn’t make heads or tails of it, and it genuinely aroused her curiosity.

She walked towards the sealed room with Baibai. As they approached, she realized that it wasn’t completely sealed. There were conveyor belts on both sides of the room, and both were rotating in one direction.

In the middle of the room, there was even a control panel. Situ Xin approached the control panel, then curiously extended her hand, ready to carefully examine and ponder what it was.

The moment her hand touched the control panel, the words "Processing Factory" appeared on her Jade Token, followed by a brief introduction to the factory.

This processing factory was a universal one; anything that one could think of, as long as the raw materials existed for it, could be processed there.

The term ’anything’ encompassed not only utensils, like dinnerware, fabrics, but also consumables, such as candies and cakes—it was all a breeze for the factory.

The operation of the factory was very convenient too. Simply input the name of the item you wanted to process into the control panel, and it would display the raw materials required for the process.

As long as you put the needed raw materials onto the conveyor belt rolling towards the room, and then pressed the process button, the factory would start operating. When "Complete" appeared on the operation interface, the processed product would come out on the other conveyor belt.

"Baibai, I never imagined such a magical thing could exist," Situ Xin remarked with a sense of awe after reading the introduction on the Jade Token.

Baibai obviously knew the use of the room, and it wasn’t impressed by Situ Xin’s remark, "Master, what’s so special about this? It’s just a small thing compared to ’Phoenix Nest’."

"Nonsense, the Processing Factory is inside the ’Phoenix Nest’. How can you even compare them?" Situ Xin retorted, giving Baibai’s ear a playful tug.

Situ Xin and Baibai went around the entire space once, making sure these were the only changes from the spatial upgrade. Situ Xin was very satisfied with this spatial upgrade. Baibai, too, was very pleased with the upgrade, as it meant it would soon be able to enjoy tasty meat.

With the spatial upgrade, Situ Xin now had many things to do, many experiments to conduct. But what she was most anxious about wasn’t experimenting with the processing factory or hurriedly planting fruits and vegetables or raising chickens and ducks.

What she was anxious about was telling her grandparents and Old Deng about taking over The Dark Division.

The next morning, when Situ Xin got up and came downstairs, Old Master Situ and Old Master Loo were already sitting on the couch, drinking tea, and playing chess. When they saw Situ Xin coming down, they stopped what they were doing and looked at her. "Good morning, Grandpa, Grandfather Loo," Situ Xin greeted them.

"Baby, what time is it to still be saying ’morning’?" Old Master Loo said with a light scolding tone, yet his voice was full of doting affection.

"Baby, go have breakfast. Your grandmother made your favorite scallion pancakes," Old Master Situ also chimed in.
