Chapter 441: Chapter 441 - I Will Be Careful

"Just hold on, help has found you," Robin said to Daniel with a smile. Confused, Daniel asked,

"What are you talking about?" He had no idea what was happening beside the cars caging him and did not think that anyone would be able to help him at this juncture without risking his life, but he remained calm about it.

After all, he brought it upon himself. "Just look to your left and stay calm," Robin said and instructed when Daniel was about to hang up. "Also, please don’t hang up the phone."

It was not only Daniel, but the other agents were equally excited at the sight of Laura in the articulator truck.

The moment she began to sweep the limos away with the articulator truck, the limo drivers had deep fears in their eyes.

From where she came out of, she had already pushed two limos out of the way, ensuring that their drivers were injured enough to restrict their movement to fight back.

The sight of it caused the other limo drivers to shudder from fear. "Sabrina’s bodyguard is really a badass," Daniel said into the phone and winked at one of the limo drivers who had fear in his eyes at the sight of the caterpillar truck being driven by a woman.

It was obvious that this woman was not an ordinary one and was not afraid of blood. She was one who did not mind playing with blood like ordinary water.

Due to what was being done to their fellow limo drivers, the rest began to run away for their dear lives, leaving their limos behind. Some would even jump from the car and take to their heels in the midst of the heavy traffic.

Robin and Daniel had no idea how Laura came up with such an idea but were glad that she did. The woman was indeed better at what she does than even her male counterparts.

Maybe the quest for vengeance in her heart made it possible. The sight was so funny that both Robin and Daniel could not help laughing.

However, in one of the limos, a driver was both upset and afraid when he saw the caterpillar truck headed his way.

After witnessing the woman’s ruthlessness and how she was injuring people, he tried to find a way of escape and quickly dialed a number on his phone.

"What the heck? Your drivers are all running away," he yelled on the phone as soon as there was an answer at the end of it, anger lacing his tone.

The person at the end of the line was extremely calm, as his agents had informed him before making the decision to run away, after nine of their teammates had been badly injured.

"They informed me about what is happening, and you don’t expect them to stay and die, do you?" the man at the end of the line asked sarcastically.

The fake Robin could not help but accept that he was on his own. How could he have known that after his plan had begun to work earlier, it would suddenly begin to fail because of a mere woman?

"Fine. I will cut down on the balance," he threatened, but the person at the end of the line was not afraid.

"Money isn’t worth anybody’s life," the agent responded with the same sarcasm as before, ending the call in the process.

The fake Robin was on his own, and the cars around Daniel had all been smashed by Laura; their drivers were unconscious.

Other cars were left in the middle of the road without a driver. Daniel had gotten back to chasing him, and this time, Robin had joined the chase while Laura took care of the remaining limos.

The fake Robin had been driving in circles to avoid his hideout being discovered, but right now, there was nothing he could do but find his way to his hideout in Massachusetts, which was about two hours away.

Without a second thought, he began his remaining two-hour journey to Massachusetts at full speed.

Robin realized that he was not ready to give up and surrender, but neither was Robin willing to let him go as well. His only concern was Daniel.

"Dan, you should go back to your pregnant wife. I have to do this with the agents," Robin said over the phone. Daniel was upset and retorted,

"You are the father of twins. You shouldn’t be doing this either."

The fake Robin’s limo was the only one with a plate number, making it easy for him to be detected the moment some of the other limos were cleared from the road.

"I will be careful," Robin replied seriously, after thinking about his wife and children.

He wanted more happy times with his family and to see his children grow to become better versions of him and his wife Sabrina.

Thus, Robin was not ready to die yet. "And so would I," Daniel replied from the end of the line.

There was nothing either of them could do to discourage the other so they agreed that no matter what, they would not lose their lives.

The chase began, as the fake Robin was being hunted by the two best friends and two other agents. The chase was fierce; they were not giving the fake Robin a breathing space.

Wherever he turned, either Robin, Daniel, or any of the agents would be at his tail.

The fake Robin was sweating nervously, not knowing how to escape from his failed plan. It was all thanks to that cursed woman who decided to do a man’s job.

He didn’t want anyone to know about the underground bunker and was trying to find a way to distract them before reaching there.

Suddenly, an idea flooded his mind after almost two hours of speed driving. He picked up his backpack, which contained some of his disguised accessories, and dropped it on the accelerator before jumping out of the car.

It didn’t take long for the car to smash into a tree. Daniel, Robin, and the few agents alighted from their cars, running towards that of the fake Robin.

When they reached the car, it was empty. "Where did he go?" Robin asked, fuming.
