The President's Pregnant, Ex-Wife-Chapter 408 – Robin’s Warning to the Twins
Chapter 408: Chapter 408 – Robin’s Warning to the Twins
"Her father is still in prison, but she faked her death and escaped. Jacob found out recently and he came to tell me about it," Robin said, his unwavering eyes on his wife as she turned white.
Whether it was from fear or shock, it disturbed Robin greatly, and he pulled her comfortingly into his arms.
"Robin, if anything happens to our children..." Sabrina was about to say, when Robin cut her off and hugged her tighter.
"Nothing would happen to you or our children for as long as we remain vigilant. Don’t worry about anything. I will take care of it," he assured her seriously. Sabrina nodded her head and replied,
"I hope so. Please keep me updated."
Robin’s gaze on her turned into one of adoration. "I will, but I miss you so much," he cooed into her ears, and her body shivered from excitement.
"I miss you too," Sabrina responded shyly. They hadn’t been intimate since she delivered the twins, and though it still wasn’t time for intimacy, at least they’ve had both light and intense kisses.
Robin’s hands were all over her body, caressing every inch of her skin. This simple action awakened Sabrina’s sensuality, contrary to the complaints she heard from other women pertaining to how their libido dropped after childbirth.
"How long do we have before I can go down again?" Robin asked mischievously.
Sabrina’s cheeks reddened. She was glad that he still felt attracted to her, just as he did during her pregnancy, but sadly, it wasn’t time yet.
"We can only find out after our next check," she moaned when he took her lips passionately, his fingers massaging her full breast carefully to not spill any milk.
"And...when is that?" Robin asked as he grabbed her hand and placed it on his erected manhood.
Sabrina pulled away instantly and spoke jokingly, "Robin, I still have some belly fat. Let me lose them first, and my stretch marks are horrible."
She knew that Robin never had problems with her stretch marks but couldn’t help feeling uneasy about them.
"They are beautiful, and I honestly can’t wait to announce our marriage to the world. Can’t you get a slightly bigger wedding gown?" Robin asked seriously. Sabrina was too obsessed with the gown she selected and doesn’t want any changes done to it.
Before Sabrina could respond, Savanah was bawling in her cot. Robin sighed and shook his head as Sabrina went to pick her up, so she wouldn’t wake her brother with her screams.
Robin shook his head and half-jokingly warned the bawling baby, "If you continue to disturb our romantic moments, I will send you to your room and have Grandma Margaret take care of you. Or you share Grandma Cecilia’s room."
Sabrina had insisted on sharing their room with the twins because of their demand for breast milk, and Robin allowed it for bonding moments’ sake. However, it seemed these twins knew exactly when to cry.
"For the sake of her breastmilk, let’s endure it a little," Sabrina pleaded. The twins’ room was very cute, and she loved it, but could not bear being away from them. Robin was not liking all the distraction, as he wanted his wife’s attention.
"They are not being fed exclusively breastmilk, so what could go wrong?" He asked. He wasn’t annoyed but wanted to make his opinion known.
Sabrina felt that he was being childish and coaxed him, "Oh my king, stop being a big baby." novelbuddy.cσ๓
Robin could still not allow this little girl to have her way and insisted,
"As soon as you lifted her into your arms, she stopped crying. It wasn’t as if she was hungry or her diaper was soiled. We should move them to their rooms before it becomes too late," he warned seriously, but Sabrina chuckled, finding his words amusing.
"Before it becomes too late or so you can have time to get down and dirty?"
Robin held her waist from the back as he gazed down at the little girl in Sabrina’s arms. She was so cute like her mother, his resolves broke but he insisted,
"I guess that is my legal right. You have no idea how much I miss you," he kissed the top of Sabrina’s head, before kissing the sleeping baby on the lips.
"So you are fighting for my attention with your kids?" Sabrina asked teasingly. Robin shrugged,
"There’s nothing wrong with that either."
He suddenly recalled something, paused, and asked, "but is there a way for you to find out the details about what is happening at your Company? Let me know how I can help."
He didn’t want the problems to get worse before it was brought to his attention. Sabrina could not help but agree with him.
"Dad might not want to talk about it, but let me speak to Lizzy," Sabrina said, picked up her phone, and dialed Lizzy’s number while still holding the sleeping baby in her arms.
"Hi Brina," Lizzy said from the end of the line, but Sabrina could feel that she had been crying and was instantly flung with worry, asking,
"Lizzy, what is the problem?" The deafening silence that welcomed her question was overwhelming, and she was about to speak again before Lizzy responded,
"It’s nothing. So why are you calling?" She smiled at the end of the line, but Sabrina felt it was forced and was even more disturbed about it.
Lizzy, please tell me what’s wrong," Sabrina insisted, fearing that something had happened to their father. He hadn’t had a heart attack in months, which was a good sign, but Lizzy’s silence was terrifying.
Finally, she spoke from the other end of the line, but it wasn’t what Sabrina had expected.
"Please let me talk to Robin," Lizzy said. Sabrina was disappointed. Lizzy always confided in her, but now she wanted to speak to Robin?
"Lizzy, you’re scaring me. Why do you want to talk to Robin when I’m the one who called you?" Sabrina spoke in a disappointed tone, but Lizzy didn’t respond. She even thought that Lizzy had hung up, but then she heard sniffing.
"Let me talk to her," Robin said behind Sabrina, sensing that something must have happened to Daniel.
Sabrina sighed with disappointment and handed the phone to him, taking the opportunity to go and put the baby in the cot.
"What?!" Robin exclaimed into the phone. Sabrina panicked, straightening herself after making Savannah comfortable.
"What’s wrong?" she asked, disturbed by Robin’s distressed look.
