Chapter 135: My Husband Is Too Horny!

"I’ll move later," Primrose replied sweetly, then looped her arms around his neck and nestled in. "But for now ... can we just stay like this for a few minutes? Just a little cuddle. That’s not too much, right?"

Of course, she didn’t plan to go further than that.

They were still on the road, and there were plenty of people riding outside the carriage.

[Hugging her ... it’s not enough anymore,] Edmund thought bitterly.

[She doesn’t even realize how much she drives me crazy. She’s so sweet, and yet so dangerous for my sanity.]

"Can we do more ... once we reach the inn?" he asked carefully, eyes filled with hope. "It’s been so long, my wife ..."

Primrose had promised they could have sex once a week, but with everything that had come up lately, they hadn’t touched each other like that in weeks.

She leaned her head on his shoulder, her arms holding him just a little tighter.

From the side, she looked up at his face and whispered with a soft smile, "We can do more than just hug."

The road wasn’t bumpy at all, yet for some reason, Edmund looked like he was suffering the entire trip.

He kept crossing his legs every time he sat across from his wife.

Sometimes, Primrose felt thankful that, as a woman, she didn’t have to experience the torment of "blue balls" like her poor husband.

It must be painful ... but honestly, it was a little fun to tease him sometimes.

However, this time, she swore in the name of all that was holy, she hadn’t done anything to provoke him.

She’d just been sitting across from him, quietly eating, occasionally brushing her fingers against his hands when she got bored.

That was it!

She hadn’t done anything bold like tugging her dress down or tying her hair up to show off her neck.

Yet, for some reason, her poor husband looked like he was about to burst into flames.

Primrose was starting to worry that the Lycan King might lose control and devour her right there in the carriage.

[Why did she have to lick her lips like that?] Edmund thought desperately. [Is she trying to seduce me?!]

All she’d done was lick a little smudge of chocolate off the corner of her mouth. She didn’t even realize it would make his already pent-up frustration worse.

"Your Majesty ...," Primrose asked softly, her brows furrowed with concern. "Are you ... alright?"

Edmund clenched his fists tightly and grumbled, turning his face away from her. "I’m fine. I just want to get to the inn already."

Primrose didn’t want to know the reason, but unfortunately, she already did.

By the time the sun had fully set, their carriage finally pulled into an inn.

It was located along a commonly traveled route toward Moonshadow and other nearby cities, so it was often visited by travelers passing through.

But since Edmund had rented the entire inn just for them, the place was quiet and empty.

The innkeeper greeted them with a wide smile, clearly honored to host the King of Beasts in his humble inn.

"Welcome, Your Majesty! I’m deeply honored—"

Before the man could finish his greeting, Edmund cut him off impatiently. "Where’s our room? We can check in right away, right?"

The innkeeper blinked in surprise. The King looked like a man who had no interest in small talk.

Meanwhile, the Queen stood behind him, quietly hiding her face behind a fan as if she was far too embarrassed to speak to anyone.

Of course Primrose was embarrassed, she knew exactly what her husband wanted to do the moment they got inside.

"R-Right this way, Your Majesty," the innkeeper said quickly, leading them to the luxury rooms on the third floor. "I’ve prepared two bedrooms for you and Her Majes—"

"My wife will sleep in my room tonight," Edmund interrupted again, taking the key from his hand. "Make sure no one disturbs us."

Primrose almost tripped over her own feet. Why did he have to say it like that?!

Now everyone in the building would know that the King and Queen planned to ... well ... not sleep.

Primrose hid her face behind the fan, not wanting to make eye contact with anyone around her.

But her embarrassment didn’t last long because Edmund quickly took her hand and led her into the inn’s bedroom without saying another word.

She hadn’t even had the chance to glance at the room or take off her cloak when he suddenly pinned her gently against the wall and kissed her lips again and again.

His breath was shaky as he whispered against her skin, voice filled with frustration. "I’m sorry ... but I can’t hold back anymore, wife. Do you want me to stop?"

Even on the verge of losing control, he was still asking for her permission, still waiting for her to say yes.

Primrose looked up, their faces now only inches apart. "But ... I haven’t taken a bath yet," she whispered.

Edmund leaned his hand against the wall, his large body towering over her, completely cornering her without even touching her harshly.

If anyone saw them right now, they’d probably think the Lycan King was forcing himself on his wife.

But in reality, he wasn’t.

He hadn’t done anything ... not until she gave him permission.

"That doesn’t matter to me," he growled softly, his voice deeper than before. "You always smell like flowers, no matter what."

He leaned in closer. "Now answer me. Will you let me continue?"

Primrose wasn’t sure if he was just being sweet or completely love-drunk.

They had just traveled all day from Noctvaris, so there was no way she still smelled nice.

However, if he didn’t care ... maybe she could shower later.

So she nodded. "You can—"

She widened her eyes as Edmund suddenly crashed his lips against hers. Unlike their usual light kiss, this one was deeper and hotter.

He pinned her hands to the wall, though his grip was never tight.

His pheromones quickly filled the room, wrapping around her so thickly she almost couldn’t breathe.

Apparently, weeks of holding back had finally caught up to him.

"I really can’t get enough of you," he murmured between kisses. His lips moved from her lips to her cheeks, then down to her neck. "You teased me so much today, my wife."
