2933 Bloody Adolescence

"…According to not just the Beggar Sect's data, but your own," Emperor Rael continued with a rather stern tone. "A total of six hundred blood babies were found to be dead in the Solaris Kingdom last year, with causes of death ranging from suffocation, decapitation, and burning. Their corpses were found thrown in garbage disposals."

The air darkened as the various leaders directed sharp gazes towards the appointed King of the Solaris Kingdom in the absence of Queen Lianiala.

He clenched his fists with a severe expression as he heaved a deep breath.

"We…" he began with a grave tone. "We have experienced an extraordinary social backlash to the integration of blood humans in our golden bloodline. More than half of our society has decried blood humans as beastly monsters whose blood will taint the pure blood of Solaris that runs in our veins. It has not been easy protecting the blood humans in our Kingdom from violence and harassment that has only grown more and more intense in our Kingdom."

The atmosphere grew electric as a faint tension hung in the air.

The Solaris King, a Martial Master, candidly divulged the difficulties that he was having with integrating the blood of the Blood Goddess amid their people.

"…King Kuhrant," Emperor Rael's tone was intense.

His golden eyes bore heavily on the King of the Solaris Kingdom. The Martial Master found himself breaking into a cold sweat under the sheer gravity of the anger of the Emperor of Harmony.

"Each and every single blood human child is a miracle."

Emperor Rael's tone was chilling.

"Each child represents the endless potential that characterizes our civilization."

"Each egg of the Blood Goddess is a priceless treasure that has the power to elevate our civilization into an entirely greater realm of power." The Emperor of Harmony's tone was unyieldingly steely. "We do not have a large amount of them, a few million at most, relative to our population of hundreds and hundreds of billions of human beings."

The Golden King's expression grew even more grave as he silently accepted the scoldings of the Emperor of Harmony.

"I did not give you those eggs and children so that they could be genocided by your population."

The Golden King heaved a deep sigh. "I have already instituted a powerful security system in conjunction with the Beggar's Sect and have purchased certain technological systems from the Esoterist. I have also consulted the Psycher on this matter and have adopted a long-term gradual plan to socially condition my people into accepting the blood humans among their ranks."

"…That's reassuring to hear," the Emperor of Harmony remarked as the intensity of his demeanor reduced. "However, unfortunately, the prejudice is not unidirectional. According to the Psycher's meta-analysis of the vast empirical data collected by the Beggar Sage, the children themselves have slowly begun developing a sense of racial superiority."

This evoked an atmosphere of even greater severity among the leaders of humanity.

This, too, had been anticipated.

For the same reasons that prejudice against blood humans had been anticipated.

"According to the Psycher's reports, the first generation of blood humans have reached the age where they comprehend their physical superiority over that of normal humans," the Emperor of Harmony explained. "While the children are too young to have garnered an identity of racial superiority, the cognizance of their physical superiority has led to some disturbing trends in their behaviors."

Prime Minister Edward's expression darkened. "That means the Psycher's upbringing protocols, tailored to the blood humans, have failed?"

Emperor Rael shook his head. "The training protocols were fine, but unfortunately, implementing them perfectly has been difficult. Human civilization has countless cultures that have their ideologies and philosophies when it comes to child-rearing that have tainted their implementation of the Psycher's protocols."

Prime Minister Edward's expression grew forlorn with knowing eyes. "The Beggar Sage must have tried to prevent this, but unfortunately, even the extraordinary resolution of the Beggar's Sect's control over people is limited. It cannot do anything about the subconscious minds of the parents and the Squire and Apprentice chaperones."

Emperor Rael nodded with a serious expression. "Thankfully, it has been implemented enough to the point that their integration into human society is still positive overall. The extensive arrangements we have made have been somewhat effective in helping them integrate with human civilization. We can do much to prevent the rise of a racial movement centered around these blood humans and integrate their blood across humanity over time. But…"

His eyes grew grim. "The first generation of blood humans, the direct descendants of the Blood Goddess, will soon be entering puberty. In fact, the girls have already entered puberty and the boys will soon follow a year or two. We have now entered the most crucial phase of their integration into human civilization."

The other leaders of human civilization couldn't help but grow even more anxious at his reminder.

Dealing with blood humans as innocent kids had been difficult enough, now that these kids were about to enter puberty and adolescence, the complexity of the problems would rise tremendously, as it did with human boys and girls growing through puberty.

The worst part was that while boys and girls tended to outgrow those problems when they reached adulthood, the fear with blood humans was that if they chose not to, they could very well snowball into a massive problem.

"We will need the Psycher and the Beggar Sage to dedicate all their time to this important phase in the lives of the blood humans as they transition to adulthood," Prime Minister Edward concluded. "Whatever it is they are doing is simply not as important as ensuring that blood humanity integrates into humanity well. We must have them dedicating as much of their time and resources as possible to this task. Ideally, we want the Blood Goddess' blood to be dispersed across human civilization as much as possible to form an ambiguous human race filled with superhumans, rather than two distinct races that never mix their blood. The latter is the worst-case scenario."
