Chapter 2875 Civilizational Upgrade

BADUMP!

A new Martial Heart was born.

BADUMP!

And another. BADUMP! BADUMP! BADUMP…

One after another, countless Martial Hearts were born across the entire world as countless Martial Squires were pushed to their very limits as Rui threatened to destroy their Martial Paths.

A wave of Martial Heart breakthroughs around the entire world as a flood of Martial Seniors emerged across the entire world. Squire-level nations became Senior-level nations in the blink of an eye, they gained a far greater ability to fight back against the beast and monsters.

It wasn't just Martial Hearts that were born.

Martial Minds also emerged from countless Martial Seniors who had trained themselves for decades, having cultivated their nascent Martial Mind and associated systems of thought scrupulously over a long period time, who simply didn't have the opportunity for the right event to break through.

Rui gave it to them. As his dominating Water crushed them in battle and threatened to destroy their Martial Paths, their minds surged with power as their consciousnesses expanded to encompass an even greater part of their brain.

They gained access to their Martial Mind as their Martial Embodiments bloomed in all their ephemeral glory, encompassing the world around them. Many of them, still in battle, completely routed the beasts and monsters that ferociously fought against them.

Even a single Martial Master could be completely gamechanging for a large majority of nations around the world. Many Senior-level nations and polities jumped up to become a Master-level nation.

It wasn't the Sage-level powerhouses that benefited the most, having already received it once. But it was every other nation in the entire world that hadn't received Rui's gifts and solutions that experienced the most benefit and the greatest boost in power.

Nations that previously shivered at the thought of running into a Master-level beast were now entirely able to handle multiple Master-level beasts.

Because the breakthrough to a higher Realm led to such a massive increase in combat power, the impact it had on all of human civilization was profound. It was as though all nations had been upgraded by an entire Realm. Only the Master-level powerhouses and Sage-level nations experienced a relatively humble boost comparatively. The Esocline Federation was perhaps the only exception.

RUMBLE!

"Hahaha!" the Esoterist laughed with excitement as he beheld the Martial Embodiment emerging from the MECHA before him. "Incredible!"

The first MECHA Martial Master had been born.

The first MECHA Martial Artist of the Upper Realm had been born.

His Martial Embodiment was extraordinarily powerful, threatening to severely brain-damage any ordinary human being in his presence. The Esoterist shifted his gaze to the skies as his the screen on his goggles zoomed to show him Rui in the distant sky conducting breakthroughs on the entire world.

It was in that moment that he understood. It was in that moment that he understood that MECHAs would never surpass Martial Art.

Not as long as Rui was alive.

He was an extraordinary Martial Artist unlike anything that the Esoterist had ever seen in his entire life. He didn't even know how he ought to even categorize Rui as an asset anymore. As a strategic asset, he had already crossed the shackles of the Sage Realm, offering an extraordinary amount of benefit and utility to all of human civilization unlike any other Martial Sage in existence.

RUMBLE…

The intense maelstrom of Rui halted as he finally completed his task. It had taken a while since he was limited with Megamind alone, however, he had completed his mission nonetheless.

"Huff…" Rui heaved a sigh. "This should help."

He knew that human civilization was dealing with a crisis of an increased intensity in the Beast Incursion in the beast tides that washed across the borders of the many nations around the world. He also knew that this was caused by the destruction of the Gu, and could potentially cripple humanity's ability to become Sage-independent. Even if they were able to handle it in the long run, the urgency of the matter was too high for it to be handled slowly. Two quasi-Transcendent beasts had already emerged from the Beast Domain causing immense damage across all of human civilization.

If the rest emerged, it didn't matter whether the Sages won or lost the battle, the entire continent would be reduced to ashes by the sheer destruction from their battles. That was why Rui decided to go all out and deliver his gifts to the doorstep of every human polity and group out there that was still fighting against the Beast incursion.

He had singlehandedly solved the issue.

STEP

He returned back to the world, turning to the Esoterist with a knowing look.

"Keep her safe. If I find that so much as a scratch on her…"

His dark eyes grew perilous, "…I will destroy this entire nation and kill you."

A single Sage didn't have the ability to threaten an entire Sage-level powerhouse, even if it was the weakest one. And yet, the Esoterist didn't think for even the slightest second that he was in any position of power.

"Relax!" her raised his hands. "She's in good hands!"

Rui gazed at him with stoic eyes. "If I find that you and the Psycher have run some twisted experiments or any other kind of nonsense, I will destroy you and him. This is not a threat…"

His tone grew sharp, "it's an oath."

The Esoterist's expression darkened. "We won't do anything, don't worry."

"I'm not the only person who will seek to kill you should anything happen to her," Rui continued with an intense tone. "The Boundless Light herself will smite. And trust me when I say you don't want to see what she is like when she comes to avenge her granddaughter."

The Esoterist broke into a cold sweat. "We won't! Alright? We won't!"

Rui grew satisfied with the amount of fear the man displayed. "I will entrust her with you then."

WHOOSH

Just like that, he was gone, returning home after having handled the most pressing tasks on his docket.
