"Grandpa, I'm going now," Triqi said while hugging her grandfather tightly. Georgio smiled. He kissed Triqi's forehead gently and then fixed her messy clothes. A vampire noble must look elegant wherever they are. That was Georgio's motto.

"Have fun. You can come back anytime you want." Georgio glanced at Valan a little when he said that. He saw Valan smiling widely, a smile that always managed to make Georgio nervous.

The child was more suited to being flat-faced or silent than starting to smile like that.

"Triqi is mine, and I have to make her happy. All the preparations are done, right? I will be the one holding that responsibility from now on. Taking care of this pack will be my job from now on."

Valan got up and stroked Val's cheek gently. His eyes, which were always unpredictable, stared at Val deeply, as if stripping him to his bones.
