The Emperor's Omega Is An Extra-Chapter 294: Heated Confessions (1)
Chapter 294: Heated Confessions (1)
They spent the whole trip in silence while embracing each other and being surrounded by darkness. Arren wasn’t sleepy in the slightest, but his eyes were shut the whole time, feeling at ease.
The same was true for Spade.
The both of them didn’t even know where they were or how many hours had passed. After an unknown amount of time, the truck suddenly stopped, which made Arren’s eyes open, but of course, he was greeted by darkness.
Still, Arren turned his head and looked at Spade, even if he couldn’t see his face clearly. He vaguely discerned the alpha to lower his head and whispered to him.
"We’re here." His voice was as deep as Arren remembered, and he almost burst into tears right there and then.
However, he held it in. Arren knew that it wouldn’t take long before he couldn’t suppress it anymore, and he was certain that Spade was feeling the same as he was.
Arren tilted his head, confused. Even though he was out of it the whole time, he still knew that there was no way they were back in the capital. The Kingdom of West was a bit far from the capital, much less the small city where they came from.
Even if Spade couldn’t see his face clearly, he had the feeling that the alpha could tell his confusion.
"We’ll stop by here for now," he whispered once more. Then, Arren finally understood.
So, the alpha didn’t intend to return immediately to the capital. He trusted the alpha with his whole heart, so his reaction wasn’t much.
Arren had his clue, though, and the more plausible reason for why Spade had done this.
The door of the truck opened, and Arren had to squint his eyes after the sudden light entered, and he was blinded for a moment. Fortunately, it was only a moment since it was still night.
The two men had bowed their heads slightly before they left. Arren blinked, and then slowly he turned to Spade. His heart started to thump wildly in his chest.
This time, Arren could finally see Spade’s face clearly, even with the faint shadows that outline most of his side features.
He gulped and stared at Spade, while the alpha had done the same. Their eyes seemed to have a lot to talk about, ultimately holding it for some reason. Arren already knew the answer, however.
His hands were still tightly holding Spade.
"Where are we?" Arren shattered the silence and asked. Spade’s throat moved and he then averted his eyes, but he slowly stood up and gently supported Arren.
Spade and Arren intertwined their hands and looked at each other.
"We’re at one of my few private properties in the empire," the alpha answered.
He didn’t elaborate though, and Arren was not interested in knowing more at this moment with his mind only thinking of one thing. Their hands interlocked tightly with each other.
Spade climbed out of the truck first, and then he supported Arren as he wrapped his arms protectively around the omega’s waist. It was as though he was afraid that something might happen to him climbing down the truck, which was close to zero since it wasn’t that high.
Of course, this was an inevitable result after what Spade had experienced for both of his lifetimes.
Arren received it with a smile, and he especially didn’t mind. For him, he also loved to be indulged by his alpha. They deserved it, so much.
Aside from the truck that was parked in front of a small house, there seemed to be nothing else there aside from the trees that surrounded the land.
They were now far from the city of the Kingdom Of West and they left the matters there with the agents. This place seemed to be more secluded, and this was Arren’s first time being here, although he had a clue of where they were.
"Let’s get inside?" Spade looked at him and invited him in.
Their actions were both casual, almost as though they weren’t separated or nothing happened.
Arren gave a small smile and nodded while leaning his body against the alpha. "Of course."
The small house was made up of bamboo, but it had a modern structure to it, not the traditional hut either. It especially emphasized the peaceful surroundings in the mountains.
The path was paved away with scattered flowers around; they were also arranged to appear as though they were wild flowers that only bloomed on their own.
He roamed his eyes around, and this scenery was making his heart calm down.
Spade was the one who opened the door; they also let go of their hands for a moment, and Arren stood next to the door. The alpha checked something inside, and the lights also turned on.
Arren took a deep breath. The once-calming down heart suddenly surged with emotions once more. Now that it was only the two of them again, the suppressed emotions he had in his heart were slowly being revealed, and this time he had no intention to stop them.
Soon, Spade came out of the room that he had entered earlier. He suddenly halted in his steps.
Arren and Spade seemed to have frozen in time as they stared at each other.
And it only took a moment for the casual atmosphere that surrounded them when they arrived here to shatter. The accumulated emotions suddenly surged out, making Arren choke.
Spade’s calm front also crumbled. His real emotions were finally revealed as he looked at Arren, at his omega. His lips quivered, and tears twinkled in the corner of his eyes.
And before they knew it, Arren was already running to Spade’s spread arms. He jumped into the alpha’s waiting embrace. Arren’s legs were wrapped around Spade’s waist and the latter’s arms were also locked around him securely.
They embraced each other so tight that they couldn’t almost breathe. Arren had done what he wanted to do.
At the same time, Arren’s tears streamed down his cheeks, and he sobbed, calling for Spade’s name. His tears trickled down Spade’s cheeks as they faced each other.
Arren leaned his forehead into Spade’s, and they expressed their longing, fear, joy, and all other kinds of emotions after being together once more.
This was a point in time that never happened before, so their emotions were especially fierce and passionate this time.
Spade’s tears were also falling at this time as he looked up and stared at Arren’s crying face. The omega’s tears are being mixed with his own. He felt that his heart was being squeezed, and he didn’t know how to vent his feelings but to shed tears.
"Arren..." Spade mumbled. "You’re really back."
Arren nodded, tears making his vision blurry. He tightened his arms around Spade’s neck as if wanting the alpha to feel his presence.
"I’m here, Spade," he gently whispered. "Alpha, I’m back," Arren admitted.
For a moment, this ambiguous word seemed simple, but it carried more weight when it was uttered between the two.
Arren was back. The two understood its meaning. And they didn’t need to ask or confirm it further with each other.
Spade couldn’t take it anymore, and he choked in his tears and sobbed, not caring about his image.
The two spend a few minutes releasing this pent-up emotion within him. This reunion was beyond the current timeline and thus more meaningful for both of them.
Last time, this didn’t happen. Spade had not met Arren again, and instead, the omega had returned, only to leave him for good mere seconds later. The mental scars in their minds couldn’t be healed instantly.
Some lingering effects would linger and haunt them, and that was inevitable.
One thing was for sure: as long as they were in each other’s arms, they could overcome everything.
Spade, after calming down for a bit, touched Arren’s cheek.
"Don’t... leave me again, hm?"
Arren could only nod and rub their faces together. Even with the height of their emotions, Arren couldn’t promise a thing, but one thing that could satisfy both of them was him, trying his best to do so.
They stared at each other, suppressing themselves any longer. The pent-up passion was fully released. It didn’t matter who moved first, or perhaps they were both leaning over.
With their arms around each other, Arren and Spade finally claimed each other’s lips. This time, the kiss was fiercer than the kisses they had in the past.
The kiss contained the longing, agony, frustrations, and most especially the raw feelings they had for each other. At most, in this timeline, they were only a part for a few days, but the effect of those few days was like a lifetime if they hadn’t managed to prevent what could have happened in the future.
As their lips sucked at each other’s breath, they were also giving warmth and assurance to their hearts. This kiss reflected everything about them.
It was especially passionate and invasive, but more than that, heated. Their bodies were, in fact, already heating up. Their bodies seemed to want to pull each other apart and connect them as one.
This was merely an illusion. All the things that happened and their memories aggravate their feelings and, more so, their hormones.
This was no doubt; Arren and Spade were on the verge of mutual heat and rut. And no ordinary heat or rut either. This was by far not something that occurred naturally since their respective days were still far apart, having Arren just spent his heat on his birthday.
The two pulled away from the kiss slightly; their cheeks were now flushed, and both of them could feel it. Their pheromones were now intertwined, and the connection seemed to be deeper than before.
"I love you... so much." Spade whispered, kissing Arren’s chin and trailing through his jaw before giving small kisses on Arren’s neck.
Arren sucked his breath, arched his neck, and shut his eyes, giving himself to his alpha completely.
"Me too," he gasped. "I love you, too," Arren confessed wholeheartedly.
Spade smiled and pulled Arren again into a much-heated kiss that left Arren gasping for breath.
They were destined to not rest tonight.
