"What are you cooking, Zion?" Camazotz asked.

"Sugar, spice, and everything nice," Thirteen replied as he continued to draw runes in the air, making them merge with the four rings on top of his work table.

"That sounds like something that might rot my teeth," Camazotz commented.

The Death Bat had been rather easygoing as of late.

He had expanded his territory in Solterra and defeated his enemies during the past two years.

His explosive growth and the fact that he didn't rely on the powers of his Legendary Armor during his battles proved that Camazotz had overcome his fear of taking new challenges along the way.

The past Death Bat bullied the weak and feared the strong.

But everything changed after he had faced the lightning tribulation while Thirteen was upgrading his armor to the legendary rank.

Even Paimon, who used to look down on Camazotz in the past, had been defeated by him.

The impression of the other members of the Order of the Apocalypse, including some of their most senior members like Beelzebub, toward the Death Bat had also improved.

"Say, Zion. I heard from Derek that your home world seems to be in a pinch right now," Camazotz said.

"Yeah," Thirteen answered casually as he continued to draw more runes in the air.

"So, I was thinking, will your preparations be enough?" Camazotz inquired.

"I don't know," Thirteen replied. "At the start, I was very confident I could overcome the situation because I had made enough preparations. But the mutation of the gates was a variable I didn't expect.

"Once the Tier 7 and Tier 8 Gates finally open, there is a very high chance that they will mutate as well. Perhaps, Majin Princes and Majin Princesses would appear for the first time in history."

Camazotz smirked and patted the young man's shoulder. "Then, how about you just bring your family and live with me? Don't worry, I got you covered. With your brains and my strength, we will be unstoppable."

Thirteen gave the Death Bat with the 'have you drank your medicine today?' gaze, which made the corner of Camazotz's lips twitch.

Suddenly, a giggle reached their ears, prompting the two to glance at the beautiful Majin Princess of Prophecy, who had overheard their discussion.

"Wouldn't it be better if Thirteen lived in my domain instead?" Kamrusepa asked. "I am currently governing a kingdom where Jinns and humans coexist. It's certainly much better than living with you, Camazotz, whose kingdom is surrounded by bloodthirsty monsters."

"Well, I guess you do have a point," Camazotz commented.

"Oh? You're not going to disagree?" Kamrusepa arched an eyebrow.

"I only gave Thirteen my offer because I thought no one else will," Camazotz replied. "Also, I hate to admit it, but my domain is really filled with danger. My subordinates might also not like Zion if they see me give him preferential treatment.

"If one of those fools were to sneak attack and kill him, I would lose a very important ally and friend. With that said, I also believe your domain is the safest place for him right now, Kamrusepa."

"Indeed." Kamrusepa nodded. "Just in case you think your situation is hopeless, Thirteen, don't hesitate to seek asylum in my kingdom. I'll make sure that you live like a prince."

"Thanks, both of you." Thirteen stopped writing runes in the air and looked at the two members who were part of the original trinity.

He was certain that Camazotz and Kamrusepa approached him in the past because they had some hidden agendas.

But now, he believed that the two of them had truly become allies after everything they had been through together.

"Still… rings, huh?" Kamrusepa smiled sweetly. "Are you planning to use them as engagement rings? Why do you have four of them? I know Erica, Sherry, and that Saintess, Shana, are your fiancees. But, who is the fourth one?"

The Majin Princess glanced at the black snake on Thirteen's neck before tilting her head to the side.

"Is the fourth one meant for Tiona?" Kamrusepa inquired.

"Yes," Thirteen replied. "The fourth one is for Tiona."

"Oh, how sweet." Kamrusepa's smile widened before a thought suddenly came to her mind. "Can I borrow Tiona for a bit? There's something I want to talk to her about."

The teenage boy and the black snake glanced at each other.

"You want to go with her?" Thirteen asked.

Tiona hesitated but eventually nodded her head.

She didn't know why Kamrusepa wanted to talk to her, but she was certain that the Majin Princess wouldn't hurt her.

After gaining her approval, Thirteen reached out his hand toward Kamrusepa and Tiona crawled over it.

The Majin Princess extended her own hand to let Tiona crawl on her arm as well.

"Well, then. I'll be back in a bit," Kamrusepa winked at Zion before opening a portal that led to her domain.

Thirteen then returned to his rune crafting, while Camazotz chatted with him from time to time.

Both didn't know what the Majin Princess was planning, so they decided to wait until she returned to the Domain of the Apocalypse.

——

Somewhere in Solterra…

Kamrusepa walked the halls of her palace and headed to the treasury with Tiona curled into her right arm.

The Majin Princess told the Domini Mortis that she planned to give her a gift that might become useful in the future.

"You know, I've always wondered how Thirteen would react if you suddenly took human form," Kamrusepa said with a smile on her face. "I have taken an interesting artifact in the Third Layer of the Treasury of the Apocalypse after I cleared it a long time ago.

"Back then, I thought it was an interesting item. But I've never really put it to good use. Now, I can finally see if taking it was worth it. So, what do you say, Tiona? Would you like to have the ability to turn into a human?"

Tiona pondered for a bit and hissed a few times, making the beautiful woman chuckle.

"I don't know if Zion will like it or not if he sees you in human form," Kamrusepa replied. "But I am certain that he will not hate you for it."

Tiona thought for a bit before reluctantly nodding in agreement.

"Well, then, Tiona. Here we are," Kamrusepa said as she looked at a pedestal, atop of which a black pill lay. "If you eat this, you will gain the ability to transform into a human anytime you want. However, according to Metatron, ingesting it will be very painful.

"If you don't want it, you can just say no. I'll just give you another treasure instead."

The Black Snake hissed a few times, telling Kamrusepa that she wanted to eat the pill.

"Good." Kamrusepa nodded and removed the case protecting the black pill from getting stolen.

"It's yours." Kamrusepa took the pill and offered it to Tiona, who didn't hesitate to eat it whole.

A moment later, the black snake's body started to twitch and convulse as if she was undergoing a painful change in her body.

Kamrusepa watched this from start to finish with a solemn expression on her face.

Earlier, she was all smiles, but after seeing how much suffering the black snake was experiencing, she was starting to feel anxious instead.

She knew that if something really bad happened to Tiona, Thirteen would not forgive her.

Fortunately, the Black Snake's twitching stopped fifteen minutes later.

After that, Tiona fell into a deep sleep, as if she had fallen into hibernation.

Kamrusepa didn't know how long the black snake would be sleeping, but she believed that once the latter woke up, Tiona would never be the same again.
