Surviving in a School of Ghost Stories-Chapter 109
"It seems I don’t remember that moment."
Erika, with a serious expression, recalled the events of the previous night and explained the situation to me.
"I came following the student council president after we got a report from . The head of the academic department was already there. Then, I watched the president have a conversation with him, and the president went inside while the teacher came out and said something to me."
Erika also met with the head of the academic department.
"I think the teacher gave me a piece of candy to cheer me up... but I don't remember what we talked about. I can only remember this now."
"Candy?"
"They said it was a commemorative candy to be sold during the 100th anniversary opening event."
"Commemorative candy for the 100th anniversary event, and the student council didn’t know? Where is it supposed to be sold?"
"They’re planning to sell it at the village’s restaurant or cafes. It seems like they outsourced it."
"Isn't that strange? If it's for the 100th anniversary, it's a big deal, yet the student council doesn't know about it? How could they have outsourced it like that?"
"Yeah. It didn't really raise any suspicions."
With Erika's response, a silence fell. Both of us became more serious.
"Anyway, I’m going to stop by the church and then head to the cafe for my shift. I need to ask Mrs. Louis about it."
"Alright. I have a student council meeting in the morning, so I’ll drop by after it's over."
Erika nodded, then spoke.
I packed my things and left the dorm room.
As I passed the main building, I noticed a group of students gathered in front of the student bulletin board.
It seemed a new post had been put up.

Did anyone see the student council president this morning? I saw him kick a senior from the 4th year. Thought he was a gangster.
⌎Stop lying and try to be a little more sincere. There's no way the student council president would do that.
⌎No, I really saw it. The senior who got kicked had a 4th-year name tag. It looked like the student council president spilled coffee on his uniform in the morning lounge.
⌎Some people are really diligent. I left at 8 AM this morning, and this post is already up. When did they write this?
⌎The student council president didn’t greet me. I think he’s changed. Did he break up with the transfer student?
⌎Who cares? Why would the student council president greet you?
⌎Well, the president was a sociopath who was polite to everyone.
⌎Is that a compliment?
⌎The president and the transfer student never dated. What kind of nonsense is this?
I looked at the bulletin board and immediately felt a strong urgency to find Senior Noah.
It seemed like the body of Senior Noah was being used recklessly by someone.

Doesn’t it feel like students are disappearing? And lately, there seem to be a lot of people whose personalities have changed.
⌎What is this, some new kind of ghost story?
⌎The attendance list matches the number of students, so no one’s actually disappearing.
⌎Please stop spreading strange ghost stories. Whoever wrote this is definitely from the Spirit Association.
⌎Why hit the back of the F-class student who was just sitting there?
⌎I didn’t mention the F-class. I just said Spirit Association.
⌎Yeah. Stop with the word games.
⌎I really agree that many people’s personalities have changed. Even some of the teachers.
⌎Who are you talking about? I don’t know anyone like that.
⌎You know, that one guy. The one who lives on the bulletin board. Matthew Lennox. He wasn’t this much of an idiot when he was part of the disciplinary committee last year.
⌎Why is Matthew Lennox an idiot? He’s smart. Also, he doesn’t really care about the bulletin board.
⌎Yeah. Shut up, Lennox.
⌎How did I know? Are you a Canard or something?
People whose personalities have changed? I tilted my head and thought of Wang.
They were saying that students were changing because of the body of Senior Noah being possessed by Wang.
‘Could it be...’
I thought I needed to find this student Matthew Lennox.
‘I guess I should talk to him directly.’
I decided that I should first find Senior Noah, and then consult with him about this issue as well.
With that resolution in mind, I headed straight for the school church.
Since it was Sunday morning, the church was crowded with people. Of course, students were there, but so were the villagers.
Mass was held three times every Sunday, and every student had to attend at least one session.
I typically attended the early mass because of my cafe part-time job.
After checking in, I found a seat. Soon, someone sat next to me.
When I turned around, it was Senior Noah. No, to be precise, it was Wang who had taken over his body.
"The guy isn't here."
Wang spoke to me. I felt uneasy, and cold sweat started to form.
‘Aren’t evil spirits supposed to fear churches?’
Even cute ghosts avoid going near churches. So why is this man sitting here perfectly fine?
Then, mass began.
Father Cesario entered the sanctuary. Everyone who had been seated stood up.
"All exorcists these days are men, huh? I guess nuns don’t do exorcisms anymore. Exorcisms are usually their forte."
Wang leaned toward me and whispered.
I tried my best to ignore him. After all, he was the being sealed by Sister Gloria, so it made sense for him to say something like that.
"I told you. The guy isn't here. Do you want me to tell you where he is?"
"How can I believe you?"
"Believing is your choice."
He chuckled as though finding it amusing. I had never seen a person with such a chilling smile. He exuded an overwhelming presence.
Father Cesario occasionally glanced in our direction while conducting the mass. Specifically, he was looking at Senior Noah. fɾēewebnσveℓ.com
It seemed Father Cesario could sense Wang’s presence as well. The pressure surrounding me was suffocating.
Strangely, ordinary people didn’t seem to notice the intensity of his energy.
"You’re trembling."
"There’s no way."
In response, his shoulders shook. He was still looking at me, smiling.
"President, don’t tease the transfer student. He’s fragile."
Just then, a student sitting behind us spoke to Wang. Another student beside them added:
"Be careful with the transfer student. He’s the type to nosebleed after just a little teasing."
I turned around and saw third-year F-class seniors. When they made eye contact with me, they winked and gave me a thumbs up.
Wang seemed to find that amusing too, and he added:
"It looks like the 'turning him into a beast' project was a complete failure."
I flinched. He spoke as though he knew about the "Melody Hastings Beast Transformation" project that Senior Maddox had ambitiously announced.
"I’ve been watching everything. Inside here."
He said while pressing his finger against Senior Noah’s body.
"To be secretly watching, I guess Wang has some perverted hobbies."
When I said that, he tilted his head, then turned fully toward me.
"I haven’t even told you about the more perverted hobbies yet."
"Don’t say it. I’m eighteen."
"I didn’t ask."
"I thought you might’ve forgotten."
"What am I supposed to say?"
"Don’t say anything that’ll pollute my ears."
Wang shrugged his shoulders, ignoring my words. I quietly looked at him and suddenly remembered a question I had been wanting to ask.
The person who cursed Raven was still uncertain, and there was no solid evidence, but based on the circumstances, the culprit seemed very clear.
Should I try probing?
I hesitated for a moment. If Wang and I were having such a smooth conversation, he might answer my question.
In the end, I subtly asked him:
"Why did you curse my brother?"
"He came to me, violating a taboo. I didn’t curse him. I’m the one who's wronged here."
‘No way...!’
I jumped up from my seat and stared at him. He saw me trembling, my face as pale as a sheet, and he grabbed my arm and pulled me back down.
Everyone around us, attending the mass, glanced at me.
"Behave quietly in the church."
In the end, Father Cesario spoke up. I lowered my head and expressed my apology.
My heart was pounding. I took a few deep breaths to calm myself.
I needed to calm down. I needed to get as much information as I could from him.
"Taboo?"
"It’s literally a taboo, so I can’t speak about it. You’ll have to figure it out yourself. Melody. I think you can do it."
His words made me clench my fists. I felt like I wanted to grab him by the collar and run out of there right away.
"It’s similar to something that happened a hundred years ago, but you’re definitely a different human. Did you reincarnate or something?"
"What?"
I furrowed my brows, not understanding his words, and he laughed as he pointed ➤ NоvеⅠight ➤ (Read more on our source) at me with his finger.
"You. You’re the reincarnation of Sister Gloria."
