Strongest Hammer God-Chapter 131 – Traversing the Cloud
Chapter 131: Chapter 131 – Traversing the Cloud
Kyle saw a couple of dunes in front of him, and he already dreaded what was about to come.
"So, what now?" Kyle asked.
"You run," Theodor answered.
"Are you sure I will survive that?" Kyle asked.
"No, but you’re out of options. Skysand clouds are not very big. You should be reaching the end of this cloud after another one or two kilometers," Theodor said.
"Are you sure?" Kyle asked.
"If you don’t care about my input, just say so," Theodor said with annoyance.
Kyle sighed.
"Sure thing, Boss," he said.
Then, he looked at the Skysand again for a while.
"Wait a second," Kyle said. "I got an idea!"
Theodor didn’t dignify Kyle’s ideas with a comment.
The next moment, Kyle started to carve slabs of earth out from the walls.
After a couple of minutes, he held five slabs of ground above him.
"I already told you that won’t work," Theodor commented.
"Just trust me on this. I have an actual idea. For real, this time!" Kyle said with a grin.
Theodor rolled his metaphorical eyes.
Kyle put his hammer into its loop, held four slabs in his right hand, and held one of them in his left hand.
Then, he started running.
’Just as I’ve thought!’ Kyle thought.
His feet didn’t immediately start burning.
Why was that?
Shoes!
His clothing recovered automatically.
The last time he ran through the Skysand, he hadn’t felt anything for a couple of seconds.
The Skysand first had to burn through his shoes!
Kyle ran for a couple of seconds, and his feet started to burn again.
That was when he threw the slab in his left hand to the ground and jumped onto it.
The slab immediately started sizzling and vanishing below him.
But this gave Kyle a moment to catch his breath.
His injuries slowly healed, but more importantly, his shoes also reappeared!
"See?" Kyle asked with a smirk.
Theodor didn’t say anything.
As more of the slab vanished, Kyle noticed something.
There was a lot of Skysand swirling around it!
’Fuck!’ Kyle thought as he realized what was going on.
Ether excited the Skysand, and when it got excited, it started to fly.
When it burned the slab, it got excited, which made the Skysand around Kyle take to the air.
"And now, you have to run through that," Theodor commented dryly. "When will you finally learn to just listen to me?"
"When will you learn that your actions have consequences?"
Kyle charged through the cloud, and his entire body started sizzling.
As he kept running, he patted his entire body down.
He got rid of the Skysand on his body, but he was also completely naked now.
’Change of plans!’ Kyle thought.
The next moment, he jumped as far as he could.
He flew for almost 40 meters, the several seconds of air time giving him an opportunity to recover.
Just before he landed, he threw one of the slabs below him.
BANG!
The slab landed, and Kyle landed on top of the slab.
A bit of Skysand was thrown into the air, but it was not as much as before.
This time, he didn’t wait and immediately continued running.
When the pain became unbearable again, he jumped and used the next slab.
"Impressive," Theodor commented. "You actually managed to do something that isn’t a complete failure."
Kyle couldn’t interact with Theodor right now since the danger of the Skysand was still present.
After some time, Kyle saw a small mountain.
And best of all, there was no Skysand on it!
In fact, the cloud stopped a short distance away from the mountain.
Kyle kept running.
When he ran out of slabs, he was forced to run as his feet vanished.
He made one last jump and managed to get away from the Skysand.
He landed on his ass and just looked at the swirling bits of Skysand he had left behind.
Then, Kyle looked at his feet, and when he saw them, he took a deep breath through his teeth.
His soles and toes were gone!
His feet were about half as big as they were normally!
Luckily, his body was already repairing the damage.
"No time to rest," Theodor said. "You’ve excited the Skysand. Do you see how it’s still swirling? That means it will take to the sky soon."
Kyle looked over, and sure enough, the swirling wasn’t becoming weaker but stronger.
"Run to the mountain!" Theodor ordered.
Kyle immediately jumped on his three-quarter feet and charged to the mountain.
"Make a hole and seal the entrance!"
Kyle took out his hammer and attacked the wall.
He couldn’t care about waking any beasts right now.
The Skysand was far more dangerous!
BOOOM!
Kyle hit the mountain wall and created a small hole.
’Fuck, this wall is hard!’
He hit the wall again, and all of the Skysand started to slowly take to the sky.
"Idiot! What are you doing?!"
"I’m doing what you told me!" Kyle shouted.
"That wasn’t me, imbecile," Theodor answered.
"Huh?" Kyle uttered as he looked up.
Sure enough, the shout hadn’t come from Theodor but from another human.
It was a young guy with long brown hair and a long rapier.
"You’re scaring all the weak beasts and attracting the strong ones!" the young man shouted.
Kyle just pointed behind himself.
"Skysand!" he shouted.
Then, he resumed hitting the wall.
"What are you talking about?! There’s no-"
The man stopped talking when he saw the cloud of Skysand rising from the ground.
The young man’s mind went into overdrive when he saw the cloud.
The next moment, he immediately jumped to Kyle and pushed him to the side.
"Out of the way!" he shouted as he tore Kyle’s hammer out of his hands.
Kyle gritted his teeth in rage.
What the fuck was this guy doing?!
Then, he saw the young guy spinning at incredible speed with the hammer.
And he struck the mountain.
BOOOOOOOM!
With one strike, the man created a tunnel that was around three meters deep and two meters high.
It was the perfect size for a human!
"Get moving!" the man shouted as he grabbed Kyle by the hand before throwing him into the tunnel.
The young man jumped after Kyle, threw the hammer to Kyle, retrieved his rapier, and cut the ceiling of the tunnel’s entrance.
The entrance crumbled, leaving an isolated room in the mountain.
They were safe.
