Chapter 594 - 594

He was once a man who, to save his homeworld from being devoured by Galactus, voluntarily became his herald. In return, he gained superhuman strength, an indestructible body, and eternal life.

Now, trembling behind Galactus, the Silver Surfer dared not raise his head. Though his body no longer feared cold or heat, he still shivered.

Because he knew all too well what kind of beings had just arrived.

The five most supreme, most powerful entities in the universe—no exception.

The Creator Gods of the cosmos themselves!

Eternity, Infinity, Death, Annihilation—the very embodiments of universal principles and abstract concepts.

Even Galactus, though the only one among them who was a physical being rather than an abstract force, had been born at the same time as Eternity and the others.

"...So this is Earth?"

Staring at the beautiful, blue planet before him, Galactus's eyes flashed with a trace of greed.

From this small world, he sensed an immense surge of life energy!

In just an instant, hunger rose within him. He wanted to devour this world.

To beings like Eternity and Galactus, Earth—even as vast as it seemed to mortals—was insignificantly small. They could destroy it with a mere thought.

Even in his weakened and starved state, Galactus still had the power to consume the planet.

And now, with the five of them manifesting bodies far larger than Earth itself, it was as if the planet was no bigger than a basketball in their palms.

Drawn by the rich life energy, Galactus—clad in purple armor—extended his right hand. He seemed ready to act.

The moment he did, the other four—Eternity, Infinity, Death, and Annihilation—frowned slightly.

At that instant, the trembling Silver Surfer behind Galactus could no longer hold back.

Though he served as Galactus's herald, imbued with the Power Cosmic and possessing immense strength, he was still, at heart, the same man who had once sacrificed himself to protect his homeworld.

His name was Norrin Radd.

And even now, he couldn't bear to watch another inhabited planet with intelligent life be destroyed.

Whenever possible, he guided Galactus toward lifeless planets filled only with energy—no sentient civilizations.

Seeing Galactus reaching for Earth, he quickly stepped forward and said with a trembling voice, "My lord... this planet... it's one that the being cares about. If you devour it, it might ruin your relationship with him."

Galactus's hand froze mid-air. His eyes flickered with clarity as he forcibly suppressed his hunger.

In his mind, he saw that glowing figure—his youngest brother—the one who had radiated divine light and terrifying power.

He paused... and then his voice rumbled through the void.

"You're right. I'll let this planet go."

To him, offending that youngest brother over a single planet simply wasn't worth it.

Suppressing his hunger, he slowly retracted his hand.

The Silver Surfer let out a sigh of relief.

Eternity and the others cast approving glances toward the tiny being.

Those glances only made Norrin Radd tremble harder.

Then— frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓

"Enough. Let's find out where he is," Death said, her voice impatient.

The five gods turned their gazes toward Earth, searching for their hidden younger brother.

But they were surprised to find that Earth was veiled by an abstract divine force that greatly weakened their perception.

If they hadn't been intentionally observing, they might have missed it entirely—like humans overlooking the bacteria on their skin.

After all, the planet's presence was almost too small to notice.

But now that they were focused, the divine concealment quickly lost its effect.

Especially for Eternity and Infinity—in a moment, they had already locked onto a likely target.

While the gods were observing Earth, chaos was erupting on the planet.

Their descent had not been subtle.

Galactus alone had blocked out part of the sun, casting much of the world into sudden shadow.

People looked up and froze, mouths agape.

"Oh my God..."

"What is that?!"

All around the globe, panic swept through the cities.

At major space agencies and research institutions, the satellite feeds clearly showed what was happening: five indescribably massive beings had appeared outside Earth's atmosphere.

"Who are they?"

"Why are they here?"

"Wait... is that Eternity?"

Some staff members recognized the figure among them—Eternity, the embodiment of time.

They had seen him once before, during the incident with the Celestials and the White-Clad Warrior, when Thanos made his infamous wish. Eternity had briefly appeared then—though at a much smaller scale.

But now, with a closer look, they confirmed: that was indeed Eternity.

...

At S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters—

Nick Fury's face was grim. Panic edged into his thoughts as he muttered, "Those five... don't tell me they're all Creator Gods?"

"What do they want on Earth?"

A thousand terrifying thoughts flashed through his mind, each more suffocating than the last.

While panic and fear gripped the planet, Syd—still on Earth—also sensed the arrival of Death and the others.

He could more or less guess why they were here.

But right now, his attention wasn't on that.

He had just projected a part of his consciousness into one of the weakest projections he had found.

In an instant, his awareness took over the projection—there was no resistance at all.

And then, the previously faint and illusory projection immediately solidified into a tangible existence.

Syd found himself in a pitch-black space, surrounded by a watery substance.

And he was incredibly weak.

A single moment was all he needed to grasp the situation.

"This projection... hasn't even been born yet?"

His eyes widened in surprise.

Carefully sensing the state of this body, he realized how frail and faint it was—without his arrival, it likely would have dissipated naturally.

No wonder it had felt so dim in his perception.
