The office of the Headmaster of the Imperial Phoenix Military Academy, Natril El-Amini Kane, was exactly the same as he remembered. However, only a few months have passed since he was here for the first time.

Once they had gone to the Mission Administration Department of the Academy to redeem their rewards for the pretty hazardous mission with their very own lives, they were to meet with the Heamaster El-Amini Kane personally.

There were only so many students in the Special Class Course, and every single one of them represented the future and backbone of the Imperium. So, this kind of mistake was indeed something that could have cost the Empire the lives of three potential Beyonders if they were given enough time to mature.

"Welcome to my office, children. Though I wish it had been under much better circumstances, as what has transpired on the Ziras IV was really a very unfortunate situation that could be attributed to the partial failure of the Imperial Phoenix Military Academy."

Headmaster Natril El-Amini Kane stated and also offered his apologies, because he really felt sorry about the situation and its development. The only saving grace was the fact that nothing severe has come out of it...

Most fortunately.

"Well... it seems that failures happen here and there, Headmaster. At least, were you able to figure out how it happened in the first place?"

Arcturus asked because what he was finding rather weird was that, whatever happened, it managed to bypass the control process of the Mission Administration Department of the Imperial Phoenix Military Academy.

This was something that never happened before.

Or at least... in such proportions.

Because Natril El-Amini Kane agreed with his student that failures happen from time to time, and even the Imperial Phoenix Military Academy wasn't an exception. There were some cases when the Mission Administration Department gave a wrong evaluation of the Missions, wrong danger rating, and so on...

But the mistakes were never really so severe or of such proportions as this one.

This one was...

Mistake of the apocalyptic proportions.

"One of the local observers was Infested. It was rahter an elaborate trap for the students of the Academy as the bugs wanted to obtain much superior genetic materials, and the best source in the entire Empire is from our Academy."

Headmaster Natril El-Amini Kane explained the situation as he himself, but they had already solved the situation by increasing the security of the observers of the Imperial Phoenix Military Academy, as these observers were playing a very important role.

When the Mission Administration Department was issuing missions, they were doing it in cooperation with the Provincial Governments. Meaning they were in contact with the Offices of Planetary Governor, System Governor-General, Domain Governor-General, and Sector Governor-General to issue the mission.

These Provincial Offices would report the valuable missions or problems to the Imperial Phoenix Military Academy, where the information would be submitted to the Mission Administration Department, where it would then undergo evaluation.

That was a decision of someone, namely the observer of personally evaluating the information on the mission, and sometimes personally going to evaluate the situation if the mission should be published in the Mission Administration Department.

If everything was alright and okey, the mission would then be pushed to the Mission Administration Department and published as a free mission that could be undertaken by the students.

Now, Headmaster Natril El-Amini Kane needed to make sure that things like this wouldn't happen, because this case could have needed to be handled pretty disastrously. From a certain point of view, they were indeed very lucky...

"That's pretty unfortunate. Well, if there isn't anything else to say, then we would like to excuse ourselves for the time being."

Zehal said as she had many things to do and she already wanted to be at another place, because she found this meeting a pure waste of time, and Jeniael, who was sitting in her chair silently, too, nodded in agreement.

"Headmaster, now that I am already here, I would like to submit the request for the absence from the Academy for some personal endeavors."

When they were already here, Arcturus planned to solve the things with their upcoming journey to the Planet Aquamarine and Planet Pangea. The last one was his own name to the prehistoric planet, as the planet was officially unknown for the entire Andromeda Galaxy.

Planet Aquamarine was located in the deepest parts of the Wildstar Star Region in completely uncharted territory, and the same could be said about Planet Pangea, which was located in the Chronus Expanse Star Region.

For various reasons, he decided that they would be going to the Planet Aquamarine as the first one, because it was more time pressing and they needed to secure the planet as soon as possible for their own devices.

The Eternal Empire of the Asurya was currently in control of half of the Wildstar Star Region, and in the upcoming decades, it was predicted that the Empire would take over the entire Wildstar Star Region.

He wanted to claim the Planet Aquamarine as his personal property, even though it would be rather problematic. Within the Eternal Empire of the Asurya, private ownership of the planets was common, though it was more problematic than one would think.

If the Imperial Navy had arrived at the planet first, then all possibilities for him to claim ownership of the planet would have been close to zero. Even though the Planet Aquamarine already contained a relatively developed civilization, it wasn't a problem for the Empire.

If some faction within the Empire claimed ownership of the world with an already developed civilization, they needed to conquer the planet and control the local population so they could submit the request for ownership.

Obviously, in this way, the planet would become Imperial Territory, yet it would be listed as the private property of the person who submitted the request. The natives of the world would be automatically considered as subjects of the person who owned the planet, but they wouldn't get Imperial Citizenship.

It was rather cruel and an indifferent system towards the people of the other races as they would be reduced to second-class citizens, but that was the way the Imperium worked.

One could say that the well-being of the people solely depended on the mood of the person or faction that owned the planet.

"That could be arranged. How long would the absence be?"

Headmaster Natril El-Amini Kane asked because the students of the Special Course Class had special privileges, and they could ask for an absence from the Academy depending on their needs.

And considering the fact that right now, all three of them almost died due to the mistake of the Imperial Phoenix Military Academy, Arcturus planned to capitalize on such fact to ask for a prolonged absence to handle their own things.

"Six months or so, it could be longer... maybe even one year. Though I don't think that this should be a problem, as with the mission on Ziras IV, we should have gathered more than enough credits to pass to next year."

Headmaster Kane nodded his head as he pressed several buttons on the holographic keyboard and issued the three of them the absence for several upcoming months.
