Chapter 907: Nine Hundred and Five, Picking Faults

Luo Shu and Lin Helian, holding the two babies, hadn’t even left the store when they were stopped by the young man with black-framed glasses.

"Both of you! I’m with the director from just now, and we are really interested in your two babies. We hope they can join us in the shooting of our movie. As for the payment, we can discuss it and guarantee your satisfaction," the young man with black-framed glasses said sincerely.

"We are not interested in filming. No matter how high the payment is, we will not agree," Luo Shu declined.

"We can offer you thirty yuan per episode as compensation. I hope you will consider it," the young man with black-framed glasses directly stated the payment, hoping to persuade Luo Shu to change her mind.

Luo Shu did not respond further and walked past him with the children, heading out of the store.

Lin Helian, holding the little brother, hurriedly followed. She knew that once Luo Shu made up her mind, it was tough to change it. And Luo Shu really didn’t need the money; she could make some just by casually treating someone’s illness.

The young man with black-framed glasses shook his head in disappointment and walked back to his own table.

The crowd saw his expression and knew that they had not agreed. Although they were somewhat disappointed, they also knew there was nothing to be done about it.

When Luo Shu and her group arrived at the cinema, they saw that the projection hall was empty except for a few couples; there weren’t many people around.

The two found their seats according to the seat numbers shown on the movie tickets.

Not long after sitting down, the lights in the projection hall dimmed, and as the music began, the movie started.

"It’s a war movie!" Seeing the opening scene where soldiers from MD country, wielding bayonets, charged at the civilians of Yan Country, Lin Helian felt disappointed. She had thought it was a romantic literary film, which was why she had persuaded Luo Shu to come and watch. Luo Shu must also dislike these kinds of films.

Lin Helian turned her head to look at Luo Shu, only to find her engrossed in the film.

Feeling a chill, Lin Helian couldn’t help but shiver and looked down at the little brother in her arms. She found his eyes coldly fixated on the projection screen. How could this be the expression of a five-month-old baby? I must have seen wrong.

Looking again at the little brother in her arms, she saw him sucking on his finger contentedly and shook her head with a smile. She thought to herself that she must have seen wrong. How could a child who couldn’t even speak have such a sharp gaze?

Stretching out her hand, she gently pulled the finger out of the little brother’s mouth and said to Luo Shu beside her, "He must be hungry again." She had witnessed the little brother’s appetite before.

Luo Shu took out another bottle of milk from her bag and handed it to the little brother.

The little brother took it and began to suckle contentedly.

When Luo Shu and Lin Helian walked out of the cinema, they saw it was raining outside.

"How did it start to rain? Looking at the rain’s intensity, it doesn’t seem like it will stop anytime soon. How are we supposed to go back now?" Lin Helian frowned as she looked at the rain outside, her face full of concern. If it were just her and Luo Shu, she wouldn’t worry; adults have sturdy bodies and getting drenched by rain isn’t much of an issue. But what about the two babies? What if they catch a cold from the rain?

"I have umbrellas in my bag, no worries," Luo Shu said, while taking two foldable umbrellas out of her bag, handing one to Lin Helian. With the cultivation level of her and her son, even if they release a layer of Divine Sense Barrier, let alone rain, even hail wouldn’t affect them. However, if they did this in the middle of the street, it would be too astonishing and taboo.

Lin Helian received the umbrella, staring blankly at it, then fixed her gaze on the bag Luo Shu was carrying, "Your bag doesn’t look very big, how can it hold so much stuff?" It was milk bottles before, and now umbrellas.

"This bag may look small, but it actually has a large storage space. You can fit several bottles of milk and an umbrella with room to spare. Don’t believe me? Take a look." Luo Shu opened the bag, revealing that aside from the items already inside, there was still some storage space.

"I thought your bag was the Hundred Treasures Box." Lin Helian laughed, looking at the umbrella in her hand, "How did you know it was going to rain today? And this umbrella is different from the ones I’ve seen before, where did you buy it?" Most umbrellas these days are long-handled and made of oiled paper, and such a compact umbrella was new to her.

"I bought this umbrella when I went abroad with Hanmo last time. It’s very convenient for both storing and opening." Luo Shu pressed a button on the handle of the umbrella, "It opens like this."

"Oh!" Lin Helian nodded in understanding, and quickly found a protruding button on the handle of her own umbrella. She put her hand on it and pressed down hard.

"Pop!" The umbrella opened automatically.

"How magical!" Lin Helian exclaimed as she looked at the umbrella in her hand with amazement.

"The rain is getting heavier, let’s hurry." Luo Shu held the little sister and headed outside with the umbrella.

"Alright!" Lin Helian replied and hastily followed.

Along the way, the rain kept getting heavier.

Lin Helian looked through the rain-blurred car window and felt relieved: "It’s a good thing we drove our own car, otherwise it would be difficult to get back today." In this weather, there would definitely be a lot of people taking the bus.

"Mhm!" Luo Shu nodded in agreement.

Suddenly, the car in front came to a stop, and Luo Shu also stopped her car simultaneously. In such heavy rain, she was definitely using her Divine Sense to check the road.

"Bang!" A loud collision sound came from behind.

Lin Helian was startled and quickly turned her head to look back, "The two cars behind us collided. Luckily, they didn’t hit our car."

The drivers of the two cars behind them opened their doors one after another and got out with their umbrellas to check the situation. After a few words of argument, one of the drivers came to Luo Shu’s car door and knocked on the window forcefully.

Luo Shu rolled down the window and looked at the person, "What’s the matter?"

"Why did you stop all of a sudden? If it weren’t for you, my car wouldn’t have been hit by the one behind me," he pointed at his car and angrily questioned Luo Shu. fгeewёbnoѵel.cσm

"Are you blind? Didn’t you see that the car in front has stopped?" Luo Shu retorted coldly.

The driver glanced at the car in front; he had noticed the situation there when he was knocking on Luo Shu’s window. Originally, he wanted to go back and argue with the other driver, but then he thought about the burly figure of that driver and compared it to the petite Luo Shu, he immediately made a decision.

"Get out! It’s your fault that my car got hit like this. If you don’t give me an explanation today, I won’t let this go," the man said with a grim face, threatening Luo Shu.

"You think I’m easy to bully?" Luo Shu’s eyes narrowed slightly, a cold light flashing in her eyes.
