SpiderGwen: I have a system?!-Chapter 175: The Gathering of Items

[3rd POV]

While Gwen was giving the tour to the girls, her clones were doing something...quite a bit more...dangerous.

Far off into the reaches of space, countless light years away from Earth, dozens of Gwen clones flew through space. They had started with over a thousand traveling through space, but had slowly split off into countless different groups, their targets?

Objects of immense power that she saw in space.

Thanks to her immense senses, she had seen far off into space, and caught sight of countless objects of note that were simply...floating through space. Some of them were simply flying through the infinite expanse of space, just waiting to be found and used by an unknown soul, and some were in space on purpose, either through their own will, or the will of another.

They were being hunted down due to one of her projects that she was working on, and powerful objects were the main aspect of the project, especially the ones that her clones were hunting.

With one group, they stopped as they found their target object, a large unique looking alien artifact of immense power and potential. One that Gwen was very interested in due to it's potential fusion with ehr symbiote, the "Omega Level Weapon"...the Tactigon.

"So this is the first of the artifacts? Can see why the boss wants it so bad, this thing is strong" Gwen Clone 292 said as she looked over the artifact. It exuded quite a bit of power, well beyond anything Earth would have.

"Well, at least the government won't get it like they would have otherwise" Gwen Clone 482 said, remembering that had they not found this thing, it would have eventually made its way into the U.S Government's hands. And with how insanely corrupt they were in this universe, it was best not to test their luck in that regard.

"Alright, let's send this thing off" Gwen Clone 92 said as they raised their hands, the tactigon glowing before disappearing, being sent to a proper safe location for it to be held, studied, and utilized in the future.

In another galaxy, another group of clones stood surrounding a large technologically advanced body armor, one that exuded a similar level of power as the tactigon, if not more. This armor was known as the "Gauntlet Armor".

This armor was made by the same alien species as the tactigon, making it a weapon that could fight against the tactigon evenly, which was pretty impressive with how powerful the tactigon tended to be.

"Huh, guess the boss was right about picking this thing up, things got a lot of power packed into its little package. Wonder if it can adapt and grow like the Tactigon too" Gwen clone 103 said as she stared at the armor, before glancing at her fellow clones and shrugging, sending the armor off.

"Eh, ain't our problem to figure that out"

In yet another area of space, another group of Gwen's clones were floating in front of another artifact of power that Gwen wanted. This time, they were...quite a bit different than the other two, two golden bracelets held within an ancient meteor that was traveling through space slowly but surely.

The two bracelets gave off quite a bit of power, and were far more well known in Gwen's eyes. For they were the Nega-Bands. The same Bands that Captain Marvel had used in the past, and the ones that could translate mental energy into physical power, as well as various other abilities and powers.

"Damn, no wonder Captain Marvel was so overpowered in the comics, these things are insane!" Gwen clone 092 said, as she felt the power of the bands. They were far stronger than most other alien technology that she could have found throughout space, and were a hell of a lot more useful to Gwen for the future.

"Just another object that the boss will be able to absorb, if not her, then her symbiote. This thing is one of the most important objects to the project afterall" Gwen clone 180 said, knowing that it's power would be...used well.

"Damn right. Now, let's get this back to the boss"

Similar events were happening throughout the universe, as mass clones were at work, gathering all sorts of objects of immense power, be it magical or alien in nature. Even ones on Earth were being taken and sent off.

From the Ebony items of magical power, such as the ebony shield, ebony chalice, ebony dagger, the Alpha band, the Zodiac Key, and many many many more. All being taken by her clones and sent off to a safe location where they would be sitting until Gwen was ready to utilize them, whatever that meant.

Such an act would inevitably bring a lot of attention, most of it being from furious parties that knew of the items, but Gwen couldn't give the tiniest bits of a damn. It was only cosmic entities that she would realistically need to worry about, and the stray few ones that were strong enough to give her a proper fight.

And there was one individual in particular that was noticing the actions of Gwen more than any other, as she sat in a meditative state, a frown on her face as a small amulet glowed upon her chest, sweat trickling down her bald head. Her eyes that were shut, slowly opened.

"...The future has changed...now completely unintelligible from before, so many variables, so much...chaos" The woman muttered, as she remembered that throughout all of the things she saw through the amulet upon her chest, she was never able to see what was causing all the changes.

"...Almost as if it is being hidden by a being of a higher power...or perhaps is a being of a higher power" The woman frowned, deciding that she would need to find this person herself, without the usage of the stone within the amulet.

"Whoever they are...they must be foolish or knowing of what they are doing, for there are not many that can escape the sights of the Time Stone" The woman said, as the stone glimmered, power filling its tiny form.

This woman was in fact, the Ancient One.

What the Ancient One didn't realize was that Gwen was completely immune to future sight, time travel attacks, time manipulation, paradoxes, and similar things thanks to having the Time Stone absorbed into her, only a being of immense power could overcome that defense, and the Ancient One was not such a being.

She was as strong as her counterpart from the mainline 616, but that only did so much against an entity like Gwen, someone who went against all logic and reasoning.

"Are you sure that is a good idea, master? If a being can escape the sights of even an Infinity Stone, perhaps it is best to leave them be" A concerned master said on the side, all the other masters of the various locations of the Sorcerers of Earth were at this "meeting".

"That is exactly why I must find them, Master Kanadru. Whoever this being is, is strong enough to escape my sights, and they are currently on Earth. It is imperative that I find them before they do anything to irredeemably damage this planet" The Ancient One replied, deciding that she would need to do this part all on her own, none of them being able to help her with this sort of thing.

Perhaps Strange would once he learned, but he was not at Karmar-Taj yet, and would not become the man known as "Doctor Strange" for a while longer.

Glancing back at the masters who watched her, the Ancient One gave them all one final nod as she walked through a glowing portal, one thought on her mind as she did so.

'...Let us hope I will not arrive too late'

Gwen's clones are gathering items, The Ancient One is on the hunt, and more and more beings are becoming aware of Gwen's existence on Earth.

Next Chapter will be the first training Chapter with Jean, and will have some interactions with the Phoenix Force for the first time.
