From the window of the hotel building, Enzo flew to the roof of a building that was not high up.

Lancelot, who was chasing after him, immediately jumped up there with the Grandmasters following him.

However, before they arrived, ten giant figures that looked like humans but weren't human and were made entirely of shadows suddenly appeared.

They had horns and wings, carried spears or large swords with an average height of more than ten meters.

All of them even exuded an extremely suppressive Grandmaster aura.

They flew through the air and then lunged towards the Grandmasters following Lancelot.

They didn't expect the sudden appearance of that strange army.

BANG! BANG!

When they clashed blows, it instantly produced an extremely loud boom, shaking the air and land so much that some cars almost flipped over.

When the shockwave appeared, some buildings were instantly cracked.

The people around knew that a fight not unlike a disaster was happening near them. Without thinking, they ran away.

They had often received warnings from the government about the dangers of top-level Awakener battles if they occurred on earth.

It was indeed no different from a major disaster.

Lancelot knitted his brows as there was help for Enzo.

He looked around to see who had sent the troops.

With his insight, he knew that they came from an Awakener skill.

However, he was still accompanied by ten Master Rank Awakeners.

Facing all of them was not easy for Enzo either.

He knew that they were all close to a Rank Grandmaster like him.

Each of them must have extraordinary skills.

"I'll fight them, you focus on Lancelot!" He suddenly heard Claire's voice.

Right after that, a black-robed figure that completely covered her figure jumped from behind her.

Whoosh!

Her body suddenly turned into a shadow which then became ten giant shadow hands, moving towards those Awakener Masters except for Lancelot.

Each of those hands emitted an aura so powerful that it made the Awakener Masters unable to dodge.

BANG!

They were knocked away.

Lancelot's expression became very ugly, not expecting Enzo to be helped by such a powerful figure.

He knew those ten strange creatures too from that figure.

"It doesn't seem that easy for me to defeat you, why don't you call your father?" Enzo said to him in a provocative tone.

"You think I can't kill you myself!" Lancelot glared at his provocation.

Shua! Shua! Shua!

Suddenly three enormous golden chains appeared around him.

They had spears at the ends that were extremely long with sharp-looking edges.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

They slithered toward him like wild snakes.

Enzo tried to control the chains but they were surprisingly heavy.

They seemed to be weapons of very high quality, unable to be easily controlled by others as they had mechanisms to evade others' control.

Lancelot who knew his abilities had clearly anticipated this to counter him.

Enzo took out the Sky Pilar without thinking, enlarged its size and swung it towards the chains.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

They collided and the Sky Pilar was thrown into the air.

The chains were stronger.

This was probably because there were three of them. They were not one set but three weapons of the same type.

Buzz!

They suddenly emitted golden lightning bolts that seemed to rage ferociously, producing a relentless rumble.

Lancelot was an Awakener Master, but his strength was indeed proportional to his identity.

When compared to Claire, he was probably just a late awakener.

Claire had only awakened earlier than him, but of course that was just a comparison of strength. Lancelot could not have been this good if he did not have his father's support.

He did not run out of ways to stop the chains.

By pointing his hand forward, the gravity in the area of the chains instantly became very strong, pulling them downward.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

They fell to the ground simultaneously, instantly sinking into the ground due to the strong gravity.

Unless one had a level far above, it was impossible to escape the force of gravity. The only way was to avoid it in the first place.

Lancelot tried to control the chains upwards, but they were too heavy for him.

His hands were shaking but still to no avail.

"Hahaha!" Enzo laughed then he lifted the ground above the man up to send him flying.

He began to emit golden lightning, seemingly wanting to lunge at him as he was thrown into the air.

However, Enzo released another gravity above him.

BANG!

He was instantly pushed down hard where his leg looked like it would break.

His expression looked like he wanted to scream.

Of course, it was painful to be pressed down by gravity while in the air.

"Lancelot, you're weaker than me!" Enzo mocked him again.

No matter how terrifying his abilities were, in front of gravity and his control over everything, she easily rendered him helpless.

Whoosh!

He then swung the Sky Pilar at him.

His eyes widened and he had no time to dodge.

BANG!

The pillar hit his head so hard that his entire body trembled uncontrollably.

"Young master!" The Awakeners following him panicked.

If he were to die here, they would probably be crushed by his father.

However, they could not help him. They were powerless against Claire who was alone.

Her shadow army was equal to them and she alone could leave those Awakener Masters gasping for breath to survive.

BANG!

Lancelot unleashed more raging golden lightning bolts to crush the gravity pressing down on him.

Their fury tore apart that gravitational light which reduced its power.

Lancelot seemed to release a large amount of power to stop the gravity.

As it began to weaken, he then jumped backwards.

From the looks of it, he could no longer fly like the body he had killed. Perhaps he himself only had one flying artifact.

Of course, he was starting to look exhausted after destroying his gravity.

"Hahaha, that guy is just arrogant, he's not Enzo's opponent!" Rosa couldn't help but laugh as she watched with her father.

She was originally worried that Enzo would get hurt, but this fight showed that he was in a superior position.

Claire fortunately covered her figure completely so it was unclear whether she was male or female. If she knew she was a beautiful woman of the same age as her, she might have pouted.

She glanced at her father and smiled as she saw him frown.

"Dad, you'd better stop them. If they get out of control, there will be more damage," Rosa said to her father.

Enzo and Lancelot's fight didn't do much damage because they were close to each other.

However, the others who were scattered to different areas began to bring down building after building.

Liam nodded lightly at his daughter's words.

He wanted to see Enzo suffer, but as the strongest Awakener in Vera, he could not continue to allow this damage.

Otherwise, his reputation would be damaged.

Whoosh!

He waved his hand at them.

One wave of the hand from him, Enzo and the others suddenly found their strength gone from their bodies, as if they had no strength in the first place.

No, Enzo realized that his strength was suppressed too strongly so that it seemed like he had no strength.

He spontaneously stared at Liam, feeling incredulous at what was happening.

'Is this the kind of power an Ascendant has? Or is he a Top Level Ascendant,' she thought.

In his estimation, even an Ascendant could not easily suppress the power of him and the others.

Granted he was only a Master, but the others were Grandmasters, especially Claire.

'But he still lost miserably when fighting with Ruby.'

If it was like that, Ruby was really too strong.

Lancelot looked angry even though he actually lost.

He stared at Liam.

"What are you doing?" He shouted at him.

Liam knitted his brows being shouted at like that by him.

Although he respected his father, it did not mean he was afraid.

For pride, anyone he would fight.

"Boy, I don't care what you do elsewhere, but don't think you can do as you please in this town. I already gave you a chance to fight, but you just lost. Do you think you can keep causing mischief?" He scolded him which made Enzo laugh.

He felt like he was being defended by his father-in-law even though in reality, he knew he wanted to see him suffer.

Unfortunately, defeating him was not that easy.

The Awakeners who saw Liam quickly realized who he was.

There were only a few Ascendants and they recognized most of them. Every single one of them could scare them because the power of the Ascendants was on another level and reaching that Rank was not easy at all.

"Young Master, we'd better retreat first," said the Awakener who was closest to Lancelot.

The latter's expression became even worse. His revenge failed, but what he had trouble accepting was the fact that he was actually being suppressed.

Awakener who was advising Lancelot was worried about him saying another bad thing to Liam and making the latter even angrier, so he grabbed his hand and pulled him away.

He didn't mind if Lancelot was angry with him. What was problematic was if Liam killed Lancelot or hit him hard.
