A tense silence engulfed Savage's destroyed luxurious room as both Savage and Corey looked at one another without blinking even once.

Curiosity and bewilderment could be seen in Savage's eyes as he stared at Corey.

He had so many questions about Corey, and the more he tried to figure out these answers on his own, the more confused he became.

Meanwhile, Corey had a calm and indifferent light in his eyes as he stared not at Savage but at the creature that was beside him.

The creature was so strange, and even Corey admitted it was strange despite all that he saw in the Shattered Dimension of the Old Ones.

The creature's body was filled with raw, sinewy red flesh that could only be described in one word, incomplete. It had a large maw that was filled with razor sharp teeth and a gaping void that had no end.

The creature's head was the strangest part of its body. It had two massive curling appendages that was attached to one another, and at one moment, the appendages looked like a large tentacle but at another moment, they looked like two horns that were attached together.

The appendage undulated in the air, and due to Corey's high affinity of the void, he knew that the end of the appendage was not what he was seeing, instead, it was hidden inside another space.

A human shaped nose was above the creature's massive maw, and above the nose were little holes that seemed to be the eyes of the creature.

Creature observed the creature with a curious light, and then his eyes moved towards Savage's shadow.

'If I'm correct, that thing is like a nightmare but it's not a nightmare. It's also not an abomination. It feels... spiritual?'

'What exactly are his class and talent?'

Corey willed for Savage's stats to appear before him.

---

Corey's eyes were fixed on Savage's Race, Class, and Talent.

His race was slightly surprising to him because of the word, Nightmare. As a Walker of Dreams and Nightmares, he was very sensitive to the energy and aura of Dreams and Nightmares, but he sensed nothing from Savage.

He was curious as to what a Nightmarespawn was, and he decided that he was going to search for information on Nightmarespawn in the future.

'It's either Nightmarespawn have a stat limit of Blue Star or Savage found a way to increase his strength, constitution, endurance, and mana to the Blue Star realm.'

Corey shifted his attention to Savage's class, and he was also curious about it.

'Dread's Apostle? Does that mean that he's the apostle of a powerful being that's called Dread?'

'If there's a powerful being called Dread, do I have to watch out for the being when I kill Savage?'

'Hmm... We'll see then.'

'He doesn't have any talent which means he's an Outsider. I guess that's one less thing I should be worried about.'

Corey dismissed Savage's status screen, and then he focused on Savage himself. Barely three seconds had passed from the moment he replied by saying that he was special.

Corey was about to make a move but Savage was faster. He clapped, and Corey's instincts screamed at him.

From out of nowhere, he saw two massive hands with razor sharp red claws and a mouth at the center of the hands, appearing to his right and left.

The movement of the hands were too fast, and if he wanted to dodge the hands by jumping, he would be too late.

BANG!

The hands slammed against one another, and at first Savage had a light smile, but then he frowned and looked to his left.

He saw an unharmed Corey standing with a light frown on his face as he stared at the ghost-like hands.

"Teleportation? Spatial Manipulation? How? You're just a Tier 3?"

Savage could not hide his shock at the speed of Corey's teleportation and also his ability to see and react to the hands.

Only Mystic Beings were meant to be able to sense the attacks of his contracted spirits, but Corey could not only sense their attacks, he could see them.

Not only could he see his contracted spirits, he could see them without running mad or screaming in pain.

This was already shocking to Savage, but Corey's spatial manipulation ability was more shocking to him.

Manipulating space was an ability that was meant for Tier 5s and above, but the speed of Corey's teleportation showed Savage that Corey's ability to manipulate space was even higher than his.

He knew that he was not talented in spatial manipulation, however, Corey was just a Tier 3, a newly promoted Tier 3 for that matter.

'What the hell is he? And who are his backers? There's no way he achieved all of this on his own.'

'Somebody has to be backing him.'

Corey did not bother responding to Savage's question, instead, he calmly approached Savage while bending his neck to the sides.

"My fists. I won't use any weapon against you. I'll only use my fists to make you kneel before me."

Savage was taken aback, and he could not help but laugh out loud.

"Kneel?"

"Kneel?"

"Kneel?"

"A worm like you dares to have thoughts about making me kneel? Even Tier 6s and Immortals are not worthy of me kneeling before them."

Corey smiled, "Like I said, I'm Smile Reaper, and I'm going to wipe that smile off your face."

Savage covered his eyes and laughed out loud, and two seconds later, he suddenly stopped and a light of madness and fury could be seen in his black eyes.

"Die."

Savage slapped his right hand down without looking at Corey, and once again, Corey saw a ghost-like hand with red claws and a massive mouth at its center coming down at him.

Before the hand could touch Corey, he vanished.

The spirit that had been hovering around Savage moved the moment Corey vanished. The long tentacle like appendages on its head swung in front of Savage.

Savage was taken aback by the actions of his spirit because he could not sense anything in front of him, however, the instincts of the spirit was extremely high and accurate.

What happened in the next fraction of a second confirmed this, when Corey appeared in front of Savage and punched.

However, the tentacle-like appendages of the spirit stopped Corey's punch from reaching Savage.

Corey frowned, and then his eyes turned sky blue and violet, and then with a cold tone, he said,

"Burn."
