Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure-Chapter 1473: Elven Queen (1)
With Vivrum making her move, there really wasn't a single thing that the Elven King could do.
Especially since he and his high elves had been completely beaten up to the point where they couldn't even move.
As strong as the Elven King and the high elves were, it wasn't as if they could do anything when they were completely drained and injured like this. At the same time, it wasn't as if Vivrum and the High Priestess would just leave them with the abilities to cause any trouble.
With the powers of Vivrum, there was a seed that was implanted in them that drained them of their mana which effectively sealed off all of their magic.
It could be removed, but it wasn't something that they could do on their own.
The reason why they were left with their powers in the first place was because it was necessary for the future of the Elven Kingdom.
No matter what, the Elven King and the high elves could be considered as part of the power of the Elven Kingdom.
If they were to lose their powers, then there was no doubt that the overall power of the Elven Kingdom would diminish.
While that wouldn't be a problem in the short run, that would be a problem in the long run as the peace between the races wouldn't last forever.
In this world, it was survival of the fittest.
If the Elven Kingdom lost too much power, then it would only be a matter of time before they were swallowed by another race. If it wasn't the humans, then it would be another one of the other races that were out there.
After all, it wasn't as if there were humans and elves in this world.
But currently, the Elven King and the high elves would be punished for the things that they had done.
As such, their powers were sealed and they were sent to be imprisoned.
Only with the Elven King and the high elves removed from power and imprisoned, that meant that there was a gap that was created.
Though Aisha took the Elven King's place as the new Elven Queen, it wasn't as if she was able to do everything herself.
With how many high elves were removed, it meant that there were many different positions that were left unfilled.
The high elves were lazy to a certain extent that it wouldn't matter in the short term if they were missing. However, they did have a certain amount of responsibilities since that was how it was when it came to running a kingdom.
It wasn't as if those positions could be left unfilled forever.
That was how there were many elves that were summoned from all over the continent.
What the high elves did was ignore the different elves that lived in the elven villages all over the world.
Even among elves, there was a kind of discrimination.
The high elves believed themselves to be greater than the normal elves, which was why they looked down on the normal elves. As such, there weren't that many normal elves that took important positions in the capital.
The Elven King refused to bring the normal elves to the capital since he looked down on them.
But just because he looked down on them didn't mean that there weren't talented ones out there.
Many of the normal elves had abilities that surpassed some of the high elves.
There weren't abilities that were related to mana or gave them more power than the high elves, but their intelligence was certainly on a different level.
If the high elves came down from their high thrones and brought these normal elves in, then there was no doubt that the Elven Kingdom would have been more prosperous.
But of course, they would never admit something like that.
Instead, it was the new Elven Queen who would take this matter into her hands.
Aisha wasn't affected by the same prejudice that the previous Elven King or the high elves had. She was able to recognize people based on their talent and valued them more because of it.
As such, the first thing that Aisha did after taking the throne was send out a decree that called for talented elves to the capital.
This was an open invitation for all those that deemed themselves talented.
But of course, there were some that were specially invited.
The High Priestess had been preparing for a long time for this, it was just that she didn't know when the Elven King would be taken down. However, since she was preparing, it meant that she had already prepared plenty of information for the future.
One of these things was a list of talented elves that would help build the future of the Elven Kingdom.
These elves were among the first ones that were called to the capital of the Elven Kingdom once Aisha took the throne.
As soon as they arrived at the capital, they were immediately put to work.
But there was one specific elf that had a hard time finding a place to fit in.
Or rather, it was because that elf had been assigned a role that was completely different from the rest of the elves. This elf had been given a role that could only be considered unique.
The High Priestess was in charge of organizing the places for these elves, but this one elf was someone that she washed her hands of.
That was because this one elf was someone that was closely related to the Elven Queen.
As such, she left this matter to the Elven Queen to handle.
"What do you mean by this?" The elder, the mother of the current Elven Queen Aisha asked when she heard what her role was.
Aisha just said with a smile, "You'll be ruling over the Elven Kingdom and making all the decisions as my representative."
The elder was still shocked when she heard this since this was the exact same thing that Aisha had said earlier.
