SEX WITH MY BEST FRIEND'S FIANCÉ-Chapter 129
Chapter 129: Chapter 129
- HAZEL -
‘Must you be friends with her? She looks quite old even for you.’ Killian’s words makes me look up to face him. My eyes are completely spent and I’m worn out in the best way one could be. The kind that makes one’s body feel alive. I’m naked on his bed, clutched to his side as his hand rests on my waist, holding me to him. My head is resting on his arms as Killian plays with my hair with that same hand.
My lips forms a line. I’m way too deep into sleeping to actually think or hear straight. ‘You mean Carol?’ I hum, resting my head on his chest instead.
Killian hums a reply. He hummed a ‘yes’. The freshness of his breath along with the vibration from his chest has me in a dreamy chokehold.
‘I feel like I owe her.’ I finally say. ‘The reason I even have people calling themselves my friends is because of her.’ I remember proceeding to go on with a long ass explanation, I remember him replying to me.
Killian’s response to that still echoes in my mind and cooes my heart to a fuzzy feeling.
A sigh leaves my lips as I put the last book in my bag and zip up. It’s Wednesday. While having going to school from his place was fun, I can’t do that for long, I need to be in my dorm and start preparing for my exams without distractions and temptation. Heavy on the temptation part.
Someone slips behind me, body brushing against mine as the person lays kisses on my cheek while twisting the tip of my the hair tucked behind my ears around a finger. “Good morning beautiful, leaving so soon?” Killian’s voice vibrates on my skin as he tickles my waist. I laugh.
“I have to.” I say, turning to face him while slipping an arm of my bag on my shoulder. I tilt my head up to face him. “Since you’re not so kind to ease my exam baggage, I need to study myself.” A smirk forms on my face. This won’t get him to change his mind regarding that and I’m done asking.
At least he’s honest. Other professors would tell a lady to spread her legs first and the possibility of them actually keeping their word is so hard. I already spread my legs for this man yet his answer is no.
Killian kisses me on the lips, grinning back at me. “Enjoy studying, kitten.”
I roll my eyes. “Right back at you.” I say, grabbing the other hand of my bag. “I’ll see you this weekend.” I stare at him. Killian doesn’t say a word. Really? Where’s the enthusiasm? The ‘OH MY GOODNESS, PRINCESS I WILL BE AT THE DOOR ON MY KNEES AND WAITING FOR YOUR RETURN FOR I CANNOT BREATHE WHEN YOU ARE NEAR’ hype?
Okay, I should seriously stop watching TikToks
I pout. Or maybe not. “Only if you want me to come.” I add. Killian laughs and pulls me to him, hugging me closely.
“Of course I want you to come, you big baby.” His words makes my heart melt. I will not give in to this.
“Yeah, sure, let go.” I say.
“Only if you promise you’d be here by weekend.”
My lips begin to curl. I clear my throat, he can’t see me but what gives? His words shouldn’t make me grin this much. “Okay, now let go.” I say casually, hiding my happiness.
“Done.” He says, taking a step back with his hands in the air.
“Oh, I’m going to miss you.” I walk to him, twining my arms around his shoulder while getting on my tip toes, locking my lips with his.
“You’ll be seeing me this weekend.” He says when my lips part from his.
Tch.
I let go of him. My phone just vibrated in my pocket and I take it out to look at it. My uber is here. I didn’t want Killian dropping me despite how much he insisted. The rumour, which actually is a true story, about a student and a professor relationship is dead, I wouldn’t want to change that because anyone’s thoughts will go in that direction if they see me, a student, stepping out of his, a professor, car.
I groan. “My uber is here.” I say to him. “I’ll text you.”
“Okay, see you soon.” Killian winks at me. I’m starting to think waving is not his cup of tea. I’ve never really seen him wave anyone before. I walk out of his room. I know he’s not going to drop me but he can at least follow me outside to see me out.
I shrug the thought out my head, that doesn’t matter. A deep sigh leave my lips as I open the door of the anti room, walking out of the house. The uber is just outside the gate. I walk toward the vehicle. The first thing I do is match the number plate of the car according to the one shown in my phone and ask the driver for his name. He told me, it’s the same as the one in my app. That’s when I get in the car.
I am not in the mood to have a little chat with anyone right now during my journey so I plug my ears with air pods while getting comfortable in the back seat. A notification pops on my screen as I open my Netflix app on my phone. freёwebnoѵel.com
It’s Killian. I click on his chat and smile at his message. We’re far past his house now but still in the estate. I look back, hoping to catch a sight from here. I can’t sight his mansion. I shrug as I avert my gaze. I look back at my phone to text him a reply when something makes me look out the window again.
It’s a car. One I have seen before quite often. My eyes couldn’t have a stable view because the person drove past is at an alarming speed. I don’t even know why my attention was drawn to a car. It just looked so familiar and the figure outline of whoever was in there was not very visible due to the tinted windows yet I could tell it was a female driving.
My lips form a line and a sigh leaves my lips. Who am I kidding? I’m sure so many people drive that same car. Carol is not the only rich folk in this state. I roll my eyes.
I think I’m just having some kind of ‘home sickness’ and it’s making me imagine things. I’m in an estate filled with probably people of high status, so of course they have good cars. Probably even better. I roll my eyes.
Not like Carol has a reason to be here anyway. I take my air pods out, return to the case and rest my head on the back seat.
I could’ve sworn I saw Carol though or that was her car. I could spot the vehicle of someone I know from a distance despite there being so many prototypes. I sigh. If only I saw the number plate.
If only I know her number plate.
I shut my eyes.
Maybe what I need is a good sleep.
